Chapter 12
“You have thirty days, five hours, fifty-nine minutes remaining”. Those were the words that made Alessia raise her head, she blinked repeatedly looking around to see no one around except Bryan and Jenna who were still laying on the bed. “Who talked?” she whispered, standing up and stretching her body, feeling quite tired. She chuckled, she wasn't even sure if she slept, all she could remember was burying her head between her legs at midnight and raising it up now to see the daylight. Not like the day had completely dawned, it was just 7AM after all. She walked closer to the bed, studying Jenna for a few seconds. She sighed..
“How do I get to enter her?” she whispered and slowly, she began bending over, moving closer to her and then finally had contact with her. At that instant, she found herself inside her and her eyes stirred open, sitting up immediately. “I did it!” she squealed and covered her mouth immediately, turning to Bryan who was booting slowly like an old computer. She had forgotten that her words could now be heard. Immediately, she laid back on the bed, pretending to be asleep but Bryan's voice made her freeze.
“How long have you been awake?” he asked and she bit her lower lip. “Just now, good morning,” she said, sitting up. “Her relatives will be leaving this morning,” he said and Alessia raised a brow, trying not to behave suspiciously. “We’re divorcing today?” she asked ignorantly and Bryan's brows furrowed on their own, staring at her surprisingly. “Today?” he scoffed and she bit her lower lip again, detecting she had said nonsense. “Listen, we both agreed to be in this marriage with you, impersonating her for a year. She runs her father's company, travels for seminars and often, she visits her family. You'll be doing all that till I find a solution to this and that's a year time” he said and Alessia nodded slowly.. “My father must have been very rich then” she thought.
“Ohh” she mouthed and he scoffed wondering why she's being too ignorant. “You should remain in the room, come out after a while to make her relatives assume you're still pained from last night's intimacy” he said, getting up from the bed… he proceeded to the bathroom but on remembering something, he suddenly turned to her. “And..” Bryan paused, pointing his forefinger at her. “ One more thing, don't be too forward” he warned and Alessia rolled her eyes. “Whatever” she muttered and he sauntered into the bathroom. Bryan walked out of the bathroom and turned to Alessia..
“Alessia do call me pappy as my pet name, don't forget” he said and she nodded, taking her lower lip in. His personality made her stare and she couldn't help but admire his handsomeness. “Okay” she nodded and he left immediately. Alessia's eyes landed on her phone and picked it up immediately. “It's the same one I saw with Jenna” she muttered and tried unlocking it but couldn't, she had no idea of what the password was. “Gosh” she breathed, rubbing her temples. After multiple attempts to unlock the phone, she sighed frustratingly letting out a breath. She headed to the bathroom and emptied her bowels, cleaning up before finally walking back to the room.
Her eyes suddenly caught a shadow on the white curtains and she furrowed her brows in suspicion, moving towards the wardrobe side . The shadow obviously belonged to a man and it was like he was walking through the balcony. In curiosity, she walked over to the window side, intending to mutter a word but the shadow disappeared immediately and she was taken aback. “Who was that?” she soliloquised feeling so uneasy. “Was someone trying to creep in here?”

VIRGINIA…. UNDERGROUND ALLEY
The digging took longer than expected, all through the night they kept digging, trying to locate the spot where Ellen had buried the property although they took multiple breaks and rested several times..
“Found it” Ellen heaved a deep breath, forcing out a big wooden box from the sand. Tyler's eyes widened in excitement and he rushed over to her side, pulling it out alongside his mum. “How long has it been here?” Tyler asked and she raised her brows, dusting off the sand on the box. “Probably three months,” she replied without looking at him. “We need to carry it and leave before the alley finally collapses” She said and he nodded, carrying the box with her and with that, they began ascending the stairs, heading out of the alley. After about thirty minutes, they finally got out of the alley. A big white sack was lying open on the. “Don't make a sound, we move when I give instructions” Ellen said and the boy nodded, while she peeped out of the warehouse, looking around to see if no one was around. Confirming the presence of no one, she turned back to him, nodding positively and he understood immediately. They actually had their car parked outside and without hesitation, they moved out of the warehouse, dropping the box in the car before sauntering in. Ellen drove off immediately.
Her phone rang after a few minutes of the drive and Tyler helped her with the swiping green. “I think there's a problem” The caller said immediately as his voice came on. “What's wrong?” she asked, driving with one hand like a professional. “We confirmed the bride's identity this morning” he said and she voiced a ‘So?’ “One of my spies visited the house this morning, we found out that Alessia is the bride” the caller said and Ellen gasped.
“Didn't you say she's In coma and her body is somewhere?” she breathed heavily. “Exactly what we're confused about” the caller replied and suddenly, Ellen screeched the car to a stop, without minding that she was in the middle of the road. “How Sure are you?” she asked, breathing heavily “We have the full address of the fisherman and he's even on the lookout for her relatives” The caller said as Tyler made a loud yawn. “This can't be possible” she muttered slowly, shaking her head sideways. “Send me the address now and prepare my flight” she instructed and the caller muttered a simple reply before ending the call. “And where are we headed to?" Tyler asked and she breathed, absentmindedly. “My mother's house, we need to hide the box before leaving” she managed to say even though she wasn't in the mood to reply. “Is anything wrong?” Tyler asked, noticing her expression and she sighed. “Please!” she said in frustration, resuming her driving and the poor boy only looked away.
“Are there two Alessias?”
