Chapter 43

Bryan brought Alessia back to the house. “ Here we are,” Bryan said as we both entered . “ Where are we? Whose house is this?” Alessia asked me looking everywhere maybe she could recall whose house it was and saw some people at the house but she couldn't remember those faces as she continued to look at them one after the other then She asked Bryan. “ Who are this people and what are they doing here?” Alessia asked, Bryan was pissed off with the question she asked. “ You know what, sit here am coming” Bryan left for his room.

“ What is going on out there? Why sudden change from Alessia? Is she pretending to act as if she lost her memories but what if?” Bryan paused and continued “ I hope this can't be, it is impossible. How can she know all the plans? No” Bryan screamed silently, so angry and confused about what to do, and then picked up his phone to call. “ Hi Stephen” Bryan greeted. “ Bryan how are you” Stephen responded. “Am not fine.. Just coming back from the hospital, I got a call that Alessia was in the hospital” Bryan paused. “ Hospital? What happened to her?” Stephen asked.

“ I was shocked too. When I got there I was told she had a car accident. I don't know how it happened and guess what She began to act as if she can't remember anything. When we got there, she began to question me, Who are you? Her question amazed me till now. What do you think I can do right now I am confused, she is already pissing me off” Bryan said in anger. “ Calm down, Have you called her to know what is going on with her? You have to calm down, be patient please, and always remember what I always tell you Bryan, don't let your emotions control you. I will keep on saying this please” Stephen said. “ I understand Stephen, Thank you. I will call her now and give you feedback later” Bryan said and hung up. Alessia was in the sitting room busy looking everywhere trying to recall everything around her but she didn't get an answer. she will be totally confused about what is going on, why is she in the house and why are they treating her special because she cannot recall anything.

“ This is so embarrassing, I can't even remember these people staring at me” She was pissed off with herself. “ What kind of life have I lived in the past that makes me here, what kind of life have I had to be punished with lack of memory.. Haa, urggh! So annoying” She started blaming herself. Alessia decided to move closer to the people. “ Hi, please can I get to know you?” Alessia asked but they didn't give any response to her, they kept distancing themselves from her, She was so surprised to notice that. “ Why are you distancing yourself from me? Don't you want to talk to me because I don't seem to understand you all.. Well.. If you wish to, no problem” She said to them and sat down comfortably but still wondering why they didn't want to talk to her then I saw Bryan coming.

“ Welcome. Please what is going on here? I tried to talk to these people but they kept distancing themselves from me I don't just know why. I only want to know them that was what I asked them but they remained silent” Alessia said in confusion. “ You don't have to bother,” Bryan said to Alessia and dragged her to her room then locked her inside. “ Sit down here,” Bryan said . “ What is going on and why did you drag me into this room?” Alessia asked. “ I said sit down “ Bryan shouted at her I sluggishly sat down waiting for him to say something.

“ Stop this joke right now.. I am tired of this pretending. What is going on with you, Why all this?” Bryan said in anger and decided to be calm with her “ Please talk to me, what happened?” He said with a cool voice. “ What do you mean by this? I don't understand you” Alessia wondered why Bryan was mad at her. “ Relax okay, I am not here to fight you. I am just worried and concerned since you came back from the hospital acting as if you don't know me. I am Bryan your Fiancee so please stop acting weird” Bryan couldn't hold his calmness any longer. “ I don't have a fiancee, I don't know you from anywhere, I just saw you at the hospital. I don't know what happened to me before I was brought to the hospital. I know nothing about what you are saying” Alessia started weeping.

“ Why are you accusing me as if I am pretending since all this while, have been trying to know myself but it is hard for me to and now you are here blaming me” Alessia yelled. “ I am totally tired. See, nobody will find out the truth about us, Is just me and you in this room”.

“ I am telling you the truth, I don't understand what is going on, why do I have to calm down on what I don't understand and what are we hiding? Please talk to me” Alessia felt confused. “ We are not hiding anything, Is just that I want you to be free to me. You are acting strange”. Alessia was pretending outside before Bryan dragged her thinking she was pretending not knowing she was the real Alessia. Bryan didn't know what to say to her again since she claimed she didn't understand everything going on, Bryan decided to touch her mask and peel it off. Truly Alessia was wearing a mask . “ What exactly is your problem? Get yourself right, you need to start planning things. You need to put yourself in shape and start acting like the real Alessia” Bryan voiced out in anger.

“ Alessia?” She recalled the name again. That name sounds somehow in her brain, She remembers hearing that name multiple times
