Amidst the whole drama, another unfolds when we took heed of a young lady running in.
"Methane, what happened?". Elena went to her.
We curiously got up and followed.
"Ma'am, the.. company..fire..at..the.. warehouse...".
She tries to grab her breath.
I looked on trying to understand, it made no sense.
however, when she got the chance, she explained that the warehouse in which they kept supplies caught fire and also took the lives of two of the workers who couldn't escape.
Elena gets startled by the news.
She almost fell to the ground.
She asked me to accompany her to the burnt warehouse.
I accepted and we left in a hurry.
We got there after a long drive, and the place have been burnt down to the ground.
I tried to go in further, methane takes me back and pulled me away.
"Who are you by the way?" She asked after recalling I was the same person who bumped into her.
Before I introduce myself, Elena walks into the conversation.
"His name is Salem Baltimore, the new manager in charge of the finances of the company, and thankfully he's here because I need his help".
She explained.
It felt good seeing her sing my praises.
I asked for permission to help with anything I could.
Elena gave me the go-ahead and sends methane to also help me out in doing my job.
She shoots a fake smile and honors her boss's request, such a loyal worker, isn't she?.
The whole day ran by quite quickly, I returned home and the moment I took a step forward, a hand pulled me back and throws a push at me, luckily I had quick reflexes.
I bent down as it flung over my head.

David said.
I had two options, it was either I pushed his soul out of his body or walk away as a gentleman should, but in all David had so much to say, I almost considered the first option.

"Thank you so much for helping out, I know I am asking much but please this company means a lot to me, it was my late father's, but after my husband tried to steal from me, he left the company in disarray".
She lets out.

There she goes again, blaming others for her crime, I should wicked witches can never change, a witch will always be one, and my mom is the queen of the witch's Kingdom if there is any.
I had no choice but to play in her game, someday, it will be my turn.
"It's okay ma'am, I understand, Riya told me everything, how have you been doing ma'am".
I replied.
Self-pity was the main aim of getting my fake sympathy.
