Reading as Andres Khan
Andre's Khan POV
The whole room went silent the second Elena blabbed out the truth without thinking, Riya nudged me away and ran out of the house, yet again everyone stared and didn't do anything to prevent her from leaving, so I ran out to meet her.
"Andre's"
Lisa tries to stop me.
I pushed her out of my path and ran after Riya.
I
got my hands close to her arms and dragged her back.
"What the hell is wrong with you?" I said trying to catch my breath, the anger and rage she felt boiled up, and with that vented her whole anger on me.
Riya yelled and I listened without talking back.
She also resulted physically assaulting me, I know that doing such will calm her for a while and it did, she nudged for the last time and fell on me, tearing up.
It pains me to see her like this, I did feel the same way she did, being betrayed by the people we love, somehow I tried avoiding her to know the truth but somehow she did, and out of the blue, (suspicious glare).
(Continues crying)
Her head was placed on my chest, hands on my back, and couldn't stop crying her eyes out.
"Look, Riya, you shouldn't be crying, and trust me I do understand the way you feel but tell me how the hell did you find out the truth," I raised a question.
Riya bottles down her emotions and lets out the whole truth to me and like a wolf targeting his prey, I took down everything.
Lisa has a lot of explaining to do.
I returned home with Riya and took notice of Lisa seated in the living room sipping a cup of coffee.
She turned and found me walking in, "oh hello Andres, you're back with the illegitimate child".
She grins.
Her words got me upset but before I could retaliate, Riya did, she rushed her and forgot to slap her.
The sound of the slap hurled everyone from their rooms, "what the hell is going on here?" Elena rants and raves her way to us.
"Ma'am!! Can you believe that this thing, slapped me, how dare you!".
Lisa attempted to hit Riya rather got another slap on her left cheek.
Damn.
I haven't seen Riya this mad and aggravated before, it like each of the slaps given to Lisa was the left pains inside of her.
She walks away after getting her deeds done, after a while I did too and so was the rest of the family.
"Good night dear".
Elena had not many words to say but decides to go back to her room and get a goodnight's sleep.
Sophia says, "did you expect after going through all of this, you just opted out and leave!! No way in hell ma'am".
Elena smiles and repaired her attention, nurturing the same look.
"Really? What the hell have you done that makes you so special? And just because Riya slapped, doesn't mean anything, that least now I know how dangerous a wounded person can be".
