Hello Salem, I need you to accompany me to a place," She says.
The look she had on gave me the clarity that wherever we were going to isn't going to be a jolly LLB ride.
"Yes Ma'am, but where are we going too?" I asked her.
"You'll see, come on" she walked passed donning a weak smile on.
We got into the car, David, Elena's driver, immediately drove off the second we got in.
I turned my eye and saw how calm Elena was, she veers her eyes elsewhere as we drove past the streets of Elmore city.
(½ hours later)
I still couldn't place my fingers as to where we were heading too. Shockingly David drove into the exact place everything ended that very day.
"Get out"
Elena walks out of the car.
I walked out of the car, I followed Elena trying to comprehend our visit to the same place she was murdered by dad, my Nanny, and myself.
Does she know I am her son? What will happen now?.
The terrible memories of that very day, flashed before my eyes when I heard Elena's paranoid voice.
"You had the audacity to gun for my life, how dare you!".
Immediately I veered back and saw the man who attacked Elena back at the hospital, he was beaten to a pulp by Elena's goons.
"Ma'am, I thought he was sent to jail, what is he doing here?". I asked
Her attention falls to me the second she took heed of my question, "sal! there's something you should know about me! I don't need the authorities to help to do my job! After all, he attacked me, and now he has five seconds to start talking about who sent him or else, he kisses this world goodbye".
(She whirls her eyes back to him, fiddling to hear him speak).
The man soars his eyes around trying to gather his words, Elena's patience was running thin and I know when that happens anything is possible.
"Speak up, who sent you?". She asked the second time as we looked at him.
(Inaudible conversation)
After several attempts to find the truth, failed. it got Elena pissed off, I wonder if she knew how many of us would love to see her dead.
We went home.
Methane walks out and noticed the angry look on her face as she walked past without altering a single word to her.
"What's her problem?" She asked me, I pinned a weak smile and told her everything that went down hours ago.
Methane giggled. She is pleased to see Elena in such a mood and trust me this is just the beginning of her misery.
The whole day passed and my mom locked herself in her room, she refused to eat nor taste anything given to her.
urgh! Drama queen.
Well, I decided to pay her a visit to her room, just to be sure she hasn't done something stupid.
"Hello, ma'am, good evening".
She attained her attention to me.
"What? What are you doing here? I am not in the mood of talking to you, get out". She says to me.
I also wasn't in the mood to play the affectionate son to her, but what can I do, It's all for a reason.
