I know that refusing Riya would be turning the happy smile she had on, into a sad one.
"Fine, let's go".
I said.
We walked to the dance floor, I pulled her close to me and she runs her hands on mine, after placing my other hand on her waist, for a girl who claims to be innocent, she knew what she was doing.
We danced alongside other guests there, Elena turned her eyes and saw us dancing, she wears a smile.
While we danced, methane signaled me from the audience, I attempted to pull my hands away rather than Riya withheld them.
" Riya, I have something urgent to do right now, please let go of me".
I begged her.
"No, I will not,"
She declined.
Shortly there was a power cut, the whole mansion was covered in total darkness, I wandered my eyes away and noticed that the power cut was just here.
something isn't just right.
I moved to the right hand said, when a gunshot was fired.
The second we all heard the shot, guests had to run for their lives, I rushed down to leave, but froze inferring I had an idea where Riya was in the midst of the chaos, apparently not long, the light was turned on, and we all scoured a stunned look on our faces decerning Elena lifeless on the ground.
"Mom"
Riya runs to her aid before I could do anything, although I know I should be pleased, in a way I wasn't.
I loomed my eyes around and saw methane strolling into my room, she has got to explain herself to me.
I ran up outraged by her.
"You have twenty seconds to start explaining yourself or you will be sorry".
I slammed the doors to the bedroom.
" What, don't give me that look, I know I went a little out of the initial plan but figured we should get rid of Elena once and for all, your happy and I am happy".
She slapped her hands together.
It's crazy to join hands with someone who doesn't know who Elena khan is, and if she survives this, I am so damn sure that Elena won't rest until she sniffs out the culprit, behind it.
"Seriously, we both will be happy? Do you even know who we are up against?".
I shouted.
"My mom isn't just going to let this slide so easy, she won't rest until she unearths the person behind it, are you that stupid enough not to think about what you are going to do, before doing it?.
I added.
Methane turned a blind eye to my warning, "look, Andres, I am so sure that the almighty Elena khan won't survive this, the person I contracted to kill her, made sure of that.
I know it will be impossible to reason with her right now, hopefully, when my warning comes to reality it won't be too late.
(Angerly walked out of the room)
I rushed back to the living room and saw the ambulance outside, they pushed Elena and drove away in a hurry, Riya turned back and saw me standing like a wand, she runs into my arms and wrapped herself in.
" Please, don't let anything happen to my mom, she's my parent" she pulls her eyes up to me, "nothing will happen to her right?".
She added.
