Elena locked herself in her room, whereas Riya was still oblivious to the handwriting on the wall.
"Hello, Andres!! May I come In?".
I veered and saw Sara standing at the entrance to my room.
she shoots me a weak smile and walked in after heeding my signal.
"Good evening nanny! Hope you're not having a hard time staying here?". I asked her.
Sara shook her head, walked closer, and said, "not really but I'll like to ask you about a young lady, I saw not quite long ago"
"A lady?" I asked back and brainstormed on who exactly she spoke off, apparently when she described the lady as a little bit troublesome, I quickly knew it was Riya, her middle name was miss trouble.
"Oh! I think you meant, Riya" I said wearing a funny expression on.
"Yeah! I just found out that, she's Elena's daughter! How is that even possible?"... Sara asked, fiddling for my response.
A smile draped over my face, as I clarified everything to her, with no information left behind.
Sara couldn't believe her ears, the second she knew the truth of Riya's real identity, I wonder how Riya, would feel when the truth is someday out for the whole world to know, that the lady whom they thought was her only parent, is none other the one responsible for the death of her legitimate parents.
(Inaudible conversation, followed by the next morning)
I got dressed up for work, after being informed of the meeting I had with some group of investors, the whole family was seated at the dining room table, and not quite long, Sara and Elena ambled out of their rooms at the same time.
Elena took notice of Sara, as they both walked downstairs, ignoring each other.
" good morning, nanny" I greeted with a smile on my face, my loving manner towards Sara instigated Elena to the wall, her face squeezed, seeing the relationship I had with Sara and not her.
An hour later, I left for the office, with Elena seated at the side, like a stranger. Sara walked me to my car and watched me drive away, after a while, she strolled back into the house and saw Elena waiting patiently for her return.
"Hold on Sara Scott".
Elena called out.
"What is it, what do you want?" In a revolted tone, Sara asked.
Elena took a few steps to close, "why can't you leave, my son alone, firstly, you took his father and now him, what would you achieve by coming here! Have you forgotten everything that happened to you?".
She recalled.
Elena thought scaring Sara would give her an open-source to get through her mind once again, but instead got bewildered by Sara's response.
" Nice try! Elena Khan, do I look stupid enough to fall for your silly plans, I ain't no naive girl and I do know you very much to realize when you're lying or even saying the truth, so please, if you want to lie to someone, don't even think of using me".
Sara unfroze and left Elena shaken by her words.
The whole day ran smoothly, after the emergency meeting with the board of directors, I went into my office and walked in on a lady who faced her back at me.
"Hello, who are you?" I asked in novelty, the lady veers, and I came confronting a familiar face
"Lisa is that you?" I said astonished.
