Chapter 104: You Had A Crush On Ambrose?

Chapter 104: You Had A Crush On Ambrose?

Abigail

“Why don't we make those ten minutes a little more fun?” Luciano said.

“You mean more fun than congratulating our friends on their fifth year wedding anniversary?” I chuckled, he stepped closer until his hands pushed me backwards against the wall.

“Much more fun.”

I couldn't hold back from giving into the kiss once his lips aggressively met mine. It was too passionate to say no, his hands squeezed my ass while his lips skimmed down my jaw, kissing and nibbling on my throat. I had waited one day more than I should be the  one with the upper hand, just as our deal had promised. I wasn't going to let him take control before I had gotten my way. However, my hands seem to betray me. They were clutching onto his shoulder to pull him closer and I could feel my whole body wanting more of what he could offer.

When his hand began grazing over my clothed entrance, I gripped his wrist. He pulled his head back up to give me a confused look and I couldn't help but chuckle at his confused expression.

“Even though I am intrigued about what you have in mind, I won't let you fucked me until I have fucked you.” I said.

He looked at me in silence for a second, as if debating whether I was serious or not. At least, he scoffed and let go of me by taking a step back and turning around.

“Brat,” I heard him mumble, he pressed the button again and the elevator started moving up. I rolled my eyes at his bitterness, a smile on my lips and soon enough we stepped onto the third floor.

I had visited their mansion many times before, but never had it looked so much alive. Despite them having kids even, the enormous dining hall had turned into a ballroom. The cream-white walls complemented the many dresses and suits that filled the enormous space. The big window that overlooked their was adored with white and gold colored balloons and above the glass doors was a sign that read; Mia and Dennis's wedding anniversary. It was beautiful, the huge crystalline chandelier being the icing on the cake. It was all so glamorous just looking out at the people. I felt almost like a Disney princess.

My hand went around his arms as we stood side by side. We took a moment to look over the crowd and it didn't take long before everyone's eyes were pointed at us. Out from the mass of people, came the two hosts. Dennis and Mia were the perfect story book couple, her in a gorgeous lavender dress and he in a simple suit, walking to us with a smile on their faces and drinks in their hands.

“Boss, Abigail.” They greeted us.

“You came just in time for the dance to start.” Dennis said, I looked up at Luciano with a teasing smile.

I would love to see my man on the dance floor. He had always bragged about how good he was with his  sophisticated moves.

“Did you hear that? You can finally show me how good you are on your feet.” I said, a playful smile on my lips. He chuckled softly and then leaned down.

“I will leave you breathless, angel.” He whispered, I rolled my eyes at him and turned my head away from his gaze. I spotted a waiter holding a tray of champagne which gathered my attention all too quickly.

“Come on, we are getting more drinks.” I said, I took a gentle hold of Mia's arm and we walked towards the waiter. You can never go wrong with a little alcohol in your system.

“Really, Ambrose?” Mia nodded and took a small sip of her drink.

“Oh yeah, but that was a long time ago.” She muttered.

“But you never dated, right?” I asked, looking at her intently.

The news of her childhood crush on my boyfriend's brother is still coming as quite a shock. Apparently, they had met a couple of times when they were younger.

“Oh, goodness, no. I was like ten, it was just a crush. I doubt he even noticed me, you know other than when he was forced to show me around their mansion.

“Did you ever meet Luciano?” I asked, she paused and thought for a second.

“Sometimes but he was fourteen years older than me so I never really talked with him. He was pushed into the whole mafia Don position very early but it suited him well. He had always been a serious guy.” She muttered.

“He is still a serious guy, so I can see that. Hopefully, he will open up more, I have never had the guts to ask him about his father. His mother told me how devastated he was when he passed away.” I said, thinking back to our conversation.

Luciano had become more talkative and open to me during our relationship but now that I think about it, I know almost nothing about his family's history.

“Ambrose took it the hardest way, if I remember correctly. He was younger after all.”

Something or rather someone drew my attention from the corner of my eye. I turned my head, entering the room was Luciano, accompanied by Dennie and Ambrose.

“Speak of who,” I said and took another sip of the champagne in my hand while both of us watched the three men. Luciano and I had gone around to greet everyone earlier but then Ambrose came and stole him for almost twenty minutes. Mia and I returned to the bar.

“I think it is cute that you had a crush on him, I mean as long as you don't feel anything for him now, of course.” I cocked a questionable brow at her.

“Gosh, no. I already have my man and he is way too immature we.” She shook her head and brushed away some non-existing crumbs on her dress. She then relocated her gaze to the people around us.

My eyes wandered over the two brothers, to be only a couple of years in between, there was some definite difference in their way of acting and in their appearance. Luciano was more mature and bigger built, but Ambrose hadn't really reached that place despite being only eight years younger.
