Chapter 10 - Jacen

I pulled up to a little run-down shack, I’ve known Celeste for 10 years now. I know this shack is glamoured to hide her real house so humans cannot stumble across it. I walked through the shimmering lights; I felt the vibration all over my body as I stepped though. I was greeted by a beautiful cottage full of greenery. I walked up to the front door. Should I knock? I stopped myself I heard voices. “it’s time to go, we have no time to train.” NO! She’s taking her again I must stop her. I busted threw the front door just in time to see Celeste teleport Chloe and herself out of the room.
“NO!” I screamed reaching for Chloe. But it was too late she was already gone. I saw a young man standing there. “Sorry” he said as he and the others teleported out of there. I fell to my knees I punched the ground as hard as I could leaving a hole in the wood. Liam ran through the door, I looked at him in just enough time to see him hit me so hard I went flying into the wall behind me. “What the hell man!” I yelled at him. He grabbed a wooden chair breaking it over his leg, so he had a wooden stake.
I stood up brushing my pants off, “you know that won’t kill me.” He ran to me stabbing me in the stomach with the stake, pain shot up my body. “No, it won’t, but it will hurt like hell.” He stabbed me again in the stomach. “You let Chloe get away, not once but twice and you snapped my neck!” I could see the anger in his eyes. Heck I was mad with myself.
He stabbed me in the stomach again, “Ill place a blood oath on it, if you don’t get her back and soon, I will chop your body into pieces, cover it in concrete and bury you beneath the ocean so you can never resurrect.” He pulled the stake out of my stomach throwing it across then room, he out reached a hand to me to help me from the ground. “So little brother, what is your plan to get her back?” he asked me calmly.
“Before they left, she said she had no time to train her, and it’s the full moon that can only mean one thing.” I paused. “well don’t keep me waiting little brother, what is it?” I looked him in the eye, “She is going to challenge for the high priestess position.” I walked out of the witch’s house and got into my car; Liam got into the passenger seat beside me. “Doesn’t matter, once I get her back, I am turning her, she will lose all of her magic.”
I looked at him, “you know she doesn’t want that. You really think she will be happy being a magicless, bloodthirsty monster?” he looked at me with a wicked smile. “It doesn’t matter, she will be sired to me and her only desire will be to make me happy. So, when I throw her on my bed and tell her she can never get up, she will be all mine for the taken.” I felt disgusted. “That’s nasty and its rape you sick fuck.” I pressed the gas to get the car moving we had to make it to the Audubon Park, that is where they always held these kinds of things. Liam let out an evil laugh, “not true, she will be willing I will not be taking anything.” I rolled my eyes, “yes you will be, her free will.” He shrugged like it didn’t matter.
I shook my head because I know id never let that happen. I put my hand in my pocket making sure the little box was still in there. I had a secret weapon on me that would make sure that his plans to sire her never became a reality. They may all hate me in the end for it, but I must protect Chloe at all costs.
