Chapter 8 - Liam

“JACEN!” I yelled. “where did that witch bitch take Chloe?” I ran to the tables flipping them over one by one. Rage filled my body, “I want her back here right now!” I used my vampire speed to run to Jacen, I put my hand around his neck. “Where is she little bro.” Jacen shoved me away. “you know I don’t know, quit acting like a kid who just lost his toy.” Jacen said calmly.
“I know you marked her, but you don’t own her. Besides, Celeste will never hurt Chloe. You heard what she said, Chloe is super powerful. She is for sure a born high priestess, no witch would dare hurt her.” I contemplated his words. I laughed “you are wrong brother. She is mine, I have every intention of turning her.” That struck a nerve with Jacen hard, did he have feelings for her too?
“In fact, I don’t want you near her again since it is your fault, she was kidnapped by that witch in the first place.” I said it knowing it would only make him mad. Jacen clinched his fists. “If you liked her as much as you proclaim, then you would have seen how much happier she is as a witch, she would never be happy as a monster.” I shrugged. “she lived 17 years without it, she can go the rest of her life without it just fine.”
I lowered my voice, “now call that bitch and get Chloe back here little brother or I will terrorize all the nearby village’s. I will drain every single person dry.” I growled and walked away. Jacen knew I would do it; I have done it in the past. I meant what I said, I want Chloe by my side. I didn’t want her away with some witch.
I walked to the throne room, when I entered the room Katherine, was sitting in her chair. She had blood on her face from feeding. She was always well dressed up with her hair done. Katherine is also a progenitor. She smiled wide, showing me her fangs. As soon as I was sitting in my chair she had already climbed up in my lap. “you look mad, do you want to feed?” she used her nail to slice a line down her neck. A line of blood trickled down her neck and in between her breasts. My fangs came out of my gums, I licked the blood from between her breasts and up her neck, I took a bite from her neck. Her blood tasted good, but dull compared to Chloe’s.
Katherine grabbed a fist full of my hair and she moaned. I bit down harder, pulling her tightly to me, I know she wasn’t Chloe, but I could pretend she was. I picked her up with her legs wrapped around my waist, still biting into her neck. I just want Chloe to be mine. I heard someone clear their throat. “Sorry to break whatever this is up, but Selene found where Chloe is, I’m going to go get her.” Jacen said. I instantly dropped Katherine to the floor, she caught herself with her legs. “rude” she huffed. “why are you so interested in that stupid girl?” I could hear the jealously in her voice.
“Don’t worry about it” I said to her. I stepped away from her fixing my shirt up. “well little brother, lets go get her.” We started towards the entrance of the castle. I meant it, when I saw her again, I would turn her. She would be sired to me, and she will be mine forever. I slid into Jacen’s passenger seat, I looked over at him. He had pain on his face, “sorry” he said. With his vampire reflex’s I saw him reach for my face *crack* I heard right before everything went black.
