Chapter 29 - Chloe

The taste of Jacen’s blood tasted amazing. Better than anything I have ever tasted before. Does all blood taste like this? I touched my finger to my fang. It almost feels foreign. Not meant to be there.
Up until now, chocolate had always been my favorite flavor. But now it would have to be second. It did not compare to Jacen’s silky smooth blood. It exploded in my mouth. It sent electricity through out of my body.
Thinking about his blood is making me want more. I need to get out of here.
What was we going to do? Go to a club that is right.
I stood up next to him. “I am ready.”
He smiled a wicked smile at me. “let’s go love.” He said as he kissed my forehead.
We stepped out of his room and walked to the thrown room. Before we even opened the door, I could hear three sets of heartbeats.
It must be from the vampire blood. Extra good hearing. In fact, I also have extra good vison now too. Everything is crystal clear, even in the dark.
Jacen pushed open the door and held is open as I walked in.
Everyone’s eyes were on us.
In an instant Liam was standing in front of me. At first with a smile, then he looked at me with anger in his eyes.
“Blood sharing? Jacen’s marked by you? WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?” he yelled. He was clearly pissed.
I held my hand out to him, “Calm down, you have zero reason to be mad.”
He looked at me like he was ready to kill everyone in the room. “Yes, I do, you are mine, yet I smell his blood on you.”
I started to feel irritated, where did he get off claiming me with out my permission.
Even if some weird world, I was his I can smell Katherine on him meaning he would have already cheated on me.

“No Liam, I am not yours. Even if I was, I can smell Katherines blood on you so don’t even go there. Go back to your bitch and leave us alone.” I could feel magic and anger seeping from my skin.
Liam stepped closer to me, his body towering over mine. “Listen here little Lamb, I will not be going anywhere nor will I be leaving you alone.”
I looked into his eyes; I was trying hard with my mind to get him to obey me. I repeated to him, “Go back to your BITCH and leave us alone.” I spat at him. I watched all emotion drain from his face, he turned around like a puppet and walked over to his thrown and sat down.
Everyone in the room looked at me, both shocked and terror in their eyes. I looked up at Jacen trying to get answers on what just happened.
He looked at me, “Welp, time to go.” He said quickly grabbing my arm and we walked out.
When we stepped outside his black car was already by the front door. I quickly slid into the passenger seat still trying to figure what had just happened.
My anger was gone, all that remained was confusion.
Jacen slid into the driver seat and hit the gas quickly propelling us forward.
I looked over at him, “what was th-“
“Compulsion.” He cut me off.
“but how? I thought yall couldn’t be compelled?”
“We can’t or couldn’t. I do not know. But what I do know, is once it gets out that you can compel us, there will be a target out on you.”
“So, what now?” I asked not sure if this meant that we wasn’t going to the club now.
“Not much, your more than capable to handle yourself. You can compel vampires, so chances are they won’t come until they find a way to protect themselves and the witches won’t come after their own priestess. Which we will have to find out what makes you capable of doing that. You are the first ever.” I saw him grab the steering wheel tightly, was he scared of me now? Or more that I could control him?
After ten minutes of a silent car ride we made it to a large building, it said “Club Ecstasy” in a huge neon sign it was blinking and neon green. We pulled up to the front and a man stepped up and opened the door. I smiled at him, thank you.
Jacen stepped out and threw him the keys. He zoomed to my side and put his arm around my waist. I looked at the long line, we would be out here forever. I let Jacen lead us, we walked up to the font of the line. I thought he was crazy. We can’t just skip everyone.
Before he could even say anything, the man opened the gate rope and let us in, he nodded as we walked by.
“Come here a lot?” I asked Jacen. He gave me a big smile. “Something like that.” as we walked in, I could smell the mixture of smoke, alcohol, and people’s blood. There were laser lights flashing everywhere and music blaring loudly. It was my first time ever at a club, but it was better than I had ever imagined it.
As I looked around, I noticed these people wasn’t even human. They were all like me. Well supernatural I mean. I could tell there was witches and vampires. There are a few I would need to ask Jacen about because I had no idea what they are.
Jacen held his hand out to me, “can I have this dance?” he asked. I nodded. I grabbed his hand and he led me out to the dance floor. I pressed my body against him, and we started dancing to the music. I felt his hands grab my waist and pull me closer to him. I looked up and as I did silver powdery stuff started falling from the ceiling.
Jacen moved my hair to the side and started to gently biting and kissing my neck.
“Stick out your tongue and catch the powder” he breathed in my ear and it sent shivers down my back.
I did as he said and stuck my tongue out. As the powder hit my tongue, I started feeling higher than I ever had, every pain I had disappeared and all I wanted to do was kiss Jacen and be with him.
I suddenly felt like someone was watching us, so I started looking around. My eyes stopped when they landed on someone I knew. He stared back at me. Hurt in his eyes.
“Chloe” I heard him yell out my name.
“Alexander” I screamed mostly because the music was loud. And just as if I imagined him, his body disappeared into nothing.
