Vidhi's POV



" I want to tell him to stay away from you, if he won't, I would break all his bones. "

" You can't do that..."

" I can... Do you want to try?? "

" Leave him alone... "

" Oh so much concern about him?? Got feelings for him ?? " he looked so annoyed.

But why??

I didn't know, what happened to him all of a sudden but I didn't want him to call Armaan as it would be so awkward.

" He is one of my batchmates... " I said in an angry tone.

" And? "

" And... Nothing. "

" No special feelings for him?"

" No... Now, will you please give me my phone and start the car ?? " I said and he nodded and started driving again.

" Are you sure? " He smiled a bit.

" Ughhh... Yes, I am sure. What is your problem?? "

" Then why were you so angry with me?? Why did you go with him instead of me? Do you trust him more than you trust me?? "

" Shubh don't irritate me. " I glared at him.



" Tell me and I would stop irritating you, once I get my answers," he said with a raised eyebrow.

" Ok fine !! I didn't want to disturb you."

" Disturb me?? Are you out of your mind? Disturb me at what?? I wanted to go with you. " he said.

" I didn't want to ruin your date. "

" WHAT ??? Date ?? What date?? There was no date. " he stopped the car again with its tyres screeching due to the sudden a halt.

I flinched at that but he was looking genuinely surprised.

" For god's sake say something."

He said.

" With Ayesha... listen, stop all this drama, Just be happy with your Ayesha. I am happy for you." I said.

" What?? What do you mean by that?" He turned me to look at him.

" I mean what I said... "

" I did not understand, would you please care to explain... "

" Oh please !! I saw you together. " I said. And I got out of the car and started walking away from it as I didn't want him to look at me. But I had not realised that it was drizzling.

Immediately, he also got out of the car as well and came running towards me.

" And what did you see ?? " he asked holding my upper arm.

" Shubh please... can we continue with our journey? Why did you stop the car?? "

" Because I need to talk to you. "

" But I don't want to talk to you. "

" Why ?? " he asked in a higher volume. I didn't say anything.

" Tell me what you saw. " he caught my arm again.

" Ok...I saw that she hugged you twice. "

" So?? So what?? "

" So what?? Do you think I am blind? Do you think I am a child? "

" Yes, you are a child and that too a silly one. It was just a simple hug. I thought you were a very modern girl, It was very normal for you. Hey !!! Wait a minute. Just tell me, Were you being jealous?? "

" No... Why would I ?? " I said and the rain had become heavier by now.

" Ok fine let's go inside the car. It is raining. " He said.

" I don't want to go anywhere with you. "

" Why, what is wrong in going with me?? You were ready to with just one of your batchmates ??"

" Don't start all that again. "

" Then stop arguing and come with me. " He said and caught my arm and pulled me towards the car.

When I tried to resist it, he turned and picked me up and threw me on his shoulder and went towards his car.

I tried to protest but he just caught my legs my upper body was dangling upside down from his shoulder. I punched on his back with both my hands.

" Leave me... "

" No !!! "

" What are you doing?? Are you mad?? "

" Making you sit in the car. You are driving me mad. "

" I am not going anywhere with you. Leave me this instant. "

" No. I will drop you in Jodhpur only. " he opened the door of his car and made me sit in it. His face was very close to mine. My heart started racing to a dangerous speed. We looked at each other. His face came a bit closer. He looked at my lips and my heart skipped a beat. Then he closed his eyes and took a very deep breath and gulped.

I wanted him so badly. But he loved another woman.

He made me wear the seatbelt. His hand brushed against my body. I felt a jolt of feelings. Just a mere touch of his hand could create havoc in me.

The moment he started going towards the driving seat, I got out of the car again. I could not remain in the closed confinement of the car right now.

" Vidhi, please don't make it difficult. " He said and rushed towards me again.

" I don't want to sit in the car right now. "

" Ok fine, let's go and have some breakfast, I am very hungry. " He said and pulled me towards a small restaurant which was nearby.

It was just around the corner so we walked there with him holding my hand. I was loving every minute of this. We were walking towards that cute little garden restaurant. It had a roof supported on the pillars. It looked very romantic.

He ordered tea for him and coffee for me and then looked we looked at the menu. He ordered pakoras and I ordered grilled sandwiches.

We waited for our order to come and in the meanwhile, he looked everywhere but me. It looked as if he was having an inner turmoil.

What was wrong with him?? I decided to start the conversation.



" I am sorry Shubh... "



" Sorry?? Sorry for what?? "



" For slapping you that day... "



" Oh please Vidhi, I am not angry with you at all. I never was. "



" Then why did you avoid me for the last 3 months?? "



" I did not avoid you Vidhi, I was studying. I was not in contact with anyone, not even Sandy. I was preparing for my exams. I wanted to top my exams. I just wanted to be a very successful man. "



" But you didn't even talk to me properly. You just called Bhai outside the Umaid Palace that day and then you left. "



" I was annoyed with you as you did not even listen to me. I was worried as hell that he would have harmed you. I was angry that you chose to believe him over me. "



" I felt so bad that I slapped you. I wanted to apologise and I did but I guess you could not forgive me. You were so angry. I can understand... I was such a stupid girl. You were trying to save me and I slapped you. Why would you have remained in touch with a girl like me? "



" I was not angry with you because you slapped me. I could not be, even if I wanted. "



" What do you mean by that? " I asked and just then our order was served.



" Nothing... I am very hungry, let's eat."



" No... but I am sorry Shubh... "



" If you say sorry, once more I will... " He raised one of his eyebrows.



" You will... what?? " I asked and he looked at my lips again.



Oh God!!! Was he thinking of kissing me??

We started having our breakfast.

" Ok fine!! Vikram Ji asked me about my plan to get married... He said that his friend asked him about me because he liked me for his sister. "



" What?? " No this is not done.

" Oh God, Swati !!! What did you say?" I asked too quickly.



" I said, I don't want to get married just now," he said and I released my breath.



" Oh ok... So why were you looking so worried? " I was a bit relaxed.
