Vidhi's POV



" Mom, dad... I am sorry to interrupt and say this, but I agree with what Shubh said. I wish I had thought like that too. He is right. We must not waste money like this. We could invest in something, there is no point in spending so much on two functions. You could give her some property or gold or money in FD. Hats off to you Shubh. I wish It had occurred to me too. " Bhai said.

" Ok, if you all think like that. So tell us what you want to do? " Dad said.

" Ok let's find a way to satisfy everyone. We can have a lavish wedding for fewer people. Or we can have just had one big function that is a wedding. No engagement or reception party. Now you can decide. " Bhai said.

Now the ball was in their court and they all started discussing. While I came out. Shubh came after me.

He caught my hand and pulled me in his arms I just hugged him as I was already feeling so good. He gave me a lingering kiss and then hugged me tight I leaned on him and lay my head on his shoulder he smiled and kissed on my head saying that he loves me.

Just then his phone started ringing. It was his PA. Shubh released me and started talking to him. I kept looking at him.

He was so sweet, Bhai had punched him so hard but he said what he wanted to. I was on top of the world that we were getting married.

Even my dad and Bhai were very happy with this marriage. He was a very eligible man for me. He was a very good man who was so sensitive towards others.

I had become very insecure because he was way better than me and I had this feeling that he may not take me as his life partner but the way he faced my brother, was just incredible. Even I was shocked and scared the way bhai reacted when Shubh told them about his feelings for me.

" Vidhi, are you sure, you said what you want and were not influenced by our parents or me. It's our special day, I want to know what you want. I swear it would be exactly like the way you want. " He said pulling me in his arms again. I smiled at him.

" I said what I want. I am just happy that I am getting married to you. It doesn't matter how many people attend it. I love you Shubh. You are a gem of a person. " I said and placed my head on his chest. He tighten his arms around me.

" What are you doing??? " We heard Bhai. Shubh released me immediately as if he was conscious of us being locked in each other's arms.

" No..nothing," he said and Bhai smiled and patted on his back.

" Chill... I am not going to kill you for showing your feelings to my sister. I know you would never hurt her and will always take care of her. I am happy that you both are getting married. And that was a very good suggestion you just gave inside. Since I started going to old age homes and the orphanage, I have been feeling in the same way. We should use the money we have judiciously. But Vidhi, I am proud of you too. You are getting mature being with him." He said and hugged me.

Finally, the parents settled with one big function with lots of guests and all the other ceremonies and functions would have only family.

Bhai and I wished that manu and Sahil jiju could have come for this roka too but Sahil jiju was in Jodhpur and as Swati was going to Canada and Manu had the exhibition and she had already taken so many leaves due to Swati's engagement and her wedding, she could not come as it was as decided all of a sudden.

But I could understand it was such short notice even we didn't know that our parents planned this Roka ceremony.

My parents and Bhabhi's parents went back to Jodhpur to do the preparations. While I stayed back to do my shopping and to be with Shubh.

So today Shubh was coming to take me on a date.

We were going to spend time with each other on Bhabhi's suggestion. So we had a full day to spend with each other.

I could not sleep for the whole night because of the excitement. So I was still sleeping.

" Get up Vidhi, Shubh would be here anytime. I have prepared the breakfast for both of you. Vikram has a very busy day so we are going to the hospital in 10 minutes. Please get up fast and get ready. "

" Yeah bhabhi... " I got up and went to take bath. Got ready and went out. Bhai and bhabhi were having breakfast because they had to leave.

Just then the bell rang and I rushed to open the door. It was Shubh I hugged him and gave a quick peck on his lips, he smiled and blushed a bit looking around if Bhai or bhabhi were around or not. I loved it whenever he blushed. He was so shy.

" Wow!! It is a wonderful day, what a welcome... Did you miss me?? " He asked. He gave me chocolates.

" Yes... Come in. "

We both came in. He greeted Bhai and bhabhi.

" Good morning Shubh !! Have breakfast, Sandhya made your favourite food. " Bhai said.

" Thanks !! Sandy, I was missing the food made by you. " He hugged her while saying. Bhabhi smiled at him.

He sat down near Bhai and I took the chair next to him.

Bhabhi asked me to serve breakfast to him. I started doing that and when he looked towards me, I winked at him. He was smiled but now he was not looking at me.

Oh god !! he looked so good while blushing that I wanted to kiss him.



Some conversation was going on between Bhai and him but I was getting very bored so I thought of teasing him. I caressed my leg lightly on his and he chocked on his food.

" Oh, God !! Shubh, are you alright?? " Bhabhi asked and he just nodded. She gave him water.

He looked everywhere but not at me. I knew he was shocked at what I did. But I was enjoying to see his face.

I again caressed on his torso and he stiffened a bit. He shook his head lightly to warn me off but I was enjoying myself.

He shifted a bit towards Bhai but I stretched my hand and was about to tickle him again when he caught my hand and squeezed it tightly.

It was such a nice feeling. He was holding my hand tightly in his big rough one.

Bhai and bhabhi left after having breakfast. The moment the door closed, he pulled me in his arms.

" Shubh??? What are you doing?? "

" What am I doing?? What were you doing ?? " He was looking at me with a strange expression.

" I was just teasing you... "

" Do you know how difficult it was to control myself while you were doing all that ?? "

" I am sorry Shubh... Don't be mad at me... I was jus... " And before I could finish the sentence, I felt the warm pressure of his mouth on mine.

His lips were warm and firm caressing mine with a sensuality that made my pulses jerk and my heart started pounding as idiotically as a gullible teenager's.

His hand was at my nape curling into my hair and bending me back until my body was pressed against his hard chest. I had to grip his shoulder to stop myself from falling.

He ended the kiss slowly, rubbing his thumb softly on my lips to remove a smudge of the lip colour I had applied.

" Wow!!! It was so good... " I said before I could stop myself and blushed at what I said, he grinned but blushed as well.

" Hey, but how did you learn to kiss like that?? It seems you have lots of practice... Who was she?? "

" Vidhi!!! Thanks for the compliment but there is no one other than you. "

" Then how was it so good?? "

" Vidhi will you please shut up or shall I make you?? "

" Oh my god !! What happened to you today?? You were blushing when they were here. "

" You shouldn't have provoked me. "

" I did that?? When ?? "

" Oh please, why were you teasing me on dining table?? I told you when you are not shy, I want to ravish you. Just imagine how difficult it was for me to control while they were sitting beside us. Don't do it again please. "

" But I loved the kiss you gave me the moment we were alone. " I said shyly while he smiled.

" So shall we leave now?? " he said

" But you just came, we can go later on. "

" No Vidhi I think we must go, I can't trust myself with you right now. I might do something that I should not before our wedding. Please let's just go. " He said looking at me with his intense black eyes. My face turned more pink just by hearing that.

I just nodded and went to my room to get my bag and wear my footwear.

I came back and he looked at me and shook his head.

" What?? "

" Change your footwear please... "

" Shubh please do not start. I hate it when you say anything about my heels. "

" And I hate it when you get hurt. And as it is we will go to many places, you might have to walk a lot. Wear. Something more comfortable. "

" But I am comfortable with them."

" Vidhi please..."

" Hmmm... But just this time only ok?? " He nodded and We went to my room.
