Epilogue Continued

Vidhi's POV





Our Shuddhi turned one today and we would have a grand party for all family and friends at one of our hotels but in the day time, as usual, we all got ready and went to celebrate her birthday. Bhai, bhabhi and Vihan also joined us.

We celebrated her birthday there and distributed gifts to kids and had a big party there. All the elderly people blessed her and kids wished her happy birthday. It was such a beautiful sight that all of them were so genuinely happy and wishing our child.



Shubh's POV



After some time, we all came back and got ready again and went to the party.

Everyone started pouring in and within 20 minutes, everyone was here with their cute kids.

There were three sets of twins who came in identical dresses which made them look even cuter.

Rajveer and Ranveer ( Rahul's children) were almost 4 years old just like Shaurya and Shlok ( Sagar's kid's) and Sanya and Suhana ( Sahil's children) were little more than 1 year old.

Then we had Vihaan, Roohi, Mihir and Gauravi they all were almost between one to two years of age. They all were here along with their parents.

Sid was out of Delhi and Samar was in Chandigarh, so they could not make it.

Mohit also came after some time. He was a good friend of Sahil and Manu but gradually he became a friend to all of us. Though he flirted with every single man in our group initially.

I used to get a bit conscious earlier whenever he used to do that but then Sahil made me understand that it was his life and hence it was his choice who he wants to be with. We had no right to be judgemental about it.

Not everyone was very comfortable with his very open way of talking and flirting with us but later on, we understood that it was his way of talking and he also gave up on us and stopped flirting with us. I am happy that we all included him in our group as he is a very nice person.

Vidhi called me as it was time for the cake cutting. She and I helped our daughter cut the cake and everyone wished her. Helpers started serving the cake.

We all got busy with our groups. Women were talking about fashion and kids in a big group there.

All the cute little kids were having the cake and the older kids were talking in a group.

" Hey, it seems they all would become very good friends like us," Rahul said looking at the group of 5 boys and Sagar nodded. Hey, all were about 4 years old. ( Rajveer, Ranveer, Shaurya, Shlok and Manik)

Vihaan was sitting close to Shuddhi and was taking care of her like a big brother. He was cleaning her mouth with a baby wipe as she had a bit of cake on her mouth.

" Oh, God !! look at Vihaan, how protective he is towards Shuddhi. " Sagar said.

" Hmmm... Just like Shubh was for Sandhya. Even I was protective for Vidhi but was not as crazy as shubh was for Sandhya. I used to get irritated sometimes. Especially on holi, I wanted to punch him for being there." Vikram Ji said and I smiled.

" Even Raj and Ron are crazily protective about Roohi. They even get angry if Rohit or Sia says anything to her. " Rahul said.

" I am scared for the boys who would fall for our daughter's. " Sagar said and everyone nodded.

" Yeah, even Shaurya and Shlok are dotting brothers always following Sanya and Suhana taking care of them. They all would definitely beat every single guy who looks towards their sisters. " Sahil said.

" I have even applied for the gun licence. I would personally break the bones of boys, who would come after my daughters. " Gautam said.

" Yeah me too. " I said and they all laughed.

" Why are you laughing? " I asked them.

" That goes without saying. You even tried to break my jaw. " Vikram Ji said while laughing.

" But seriously all these boys are too young and yet so responsible at least for their sisters. " Rahul said.

" No not just sisters, Maanik is a big protective brother even for Mihir. " Mehul said with a smile.

" I hope they behave well with other girls as well. " Sagar said.

" It seems you all are enjoying your parenthood. " Mohit asked who was unusually quite by now.

" Definitely... I am loving it and I am sure everyone here is enjoying it like anything. In fact, Sagar is trying to persuade Damini for another child. " Sahil said.

" Really ?? You all feel the same way?? " he looked at all of us.

" Yes... " we all said in unison.

He looked towards the kids and it seemed that he was thinking something deeply.

" What are you thinking Mohit ?? "

" Nothing... What do your wives think about being mother's?? "

" They are obsessed with them. Every single girl is loving it. Though every one of them is professional and had to take a break from their career and stay at home for some time, they are enjoying it. Trust me, it is a beautiful feeling that you created a life. That child becomes the centre of your life. "

" Is it?? " He asked again.

" Why do you think, manu takes her kids with her to work. She wants to be around them and doesn't want to take a longer break. That is why we hired another assistant for her. Srusti is helping her in work as well as raising kids while she is working. " Sahil said and everyone nodded. Mohit smiled faintly.

Just then Vidhi called me and I excused myself and went towards her. Some of the guests were leaving so we had to see them off. Shuddhi was looking a bit tired now. It was a long day for her so she seemed a bit cranky.

So we tried to settle her but every minute someone or the other was going. So Sandhya and Vikram Ji offered us to take care of the guest while they took care of Vihaan and Shuddhi.

Vikram Ji was totally in love with our daughter. According to him, she was a carbon copy of Vidhi and it seemed that he got his little Vidhi again. Only this time he was old and experienced enough to take her in his arms. He was so sweet.

Slowly everyone left the party and we made sure that they had food and got the return gifts. Once everyone had left, we all also went home.

It was a wonderful day... But we all were really tired. Vidhi and the nanny made our doll take bath and then Vidhi put her to sleep. We both kissed her forehead and came back to our room.

I had already changed into my nightwear so I lied down on our bed and vidhi came back after changing. She was looking very tired too. So I opened my arms and she came in the circle of my arms and placed her head on my chest caressing it lightly.

I kissed on her head and played with her long hair.

" Thanks a lot, beautiful... "

" Thanks?? Why ?? " she looked at me.

" For making my life more beautiful and colourful with your bubbly and vibrant personality. My life was very boring before you fell on me that day... "

" I had to fall on you... After all, we were doomed to be together. Despite us being like... Chalk and Cheese..." she said and I kissed her and pulled her in my arms.

Thank you, God !!! For making our lives complete with each other. I hope you made a cheese for every chalk out there...
