Chapter 48

Vidhi's POV



After we had our lunch, he asked me where would I like to go now? And As I wanted to get to know about him more, I told him to take me where he loves to go.

And then there was a cute smile on his face. He lead me to a sweet shop. He wanted to eat sweets?? He asked me what would I have but I was too full, so I refused to eat anything.

But I was shocked when ordered 4 kilos of sweets and 60 pieces each of 4 snacks. He looked so happy and excited.

He made a few quick phone calls and after he paid for everything and all the snacks were kept in our car.

" What was that Shubh?? So many snacks?? Where are we going?? "

" Somewhere I love going. I hope you like it too. "

I had a clue that he was going to an orphanage or the old-age homes.

He stopped the car near an orphanage. He had already called the manager, the helpers came and took out everything.

The kids were so happy to see him. They rushed to hug him. Shubh was smiling like anything. The look of pure joy on their faces was making me too emotional.

" Wow !!! Bhaiya it was a surprise. We loved it. But where is Sandhya di? "

" Your Sandhya di is in the hospital with Vikram jiju. She would come later on. I made the plan all of a sudden. "

" But does that mean you will not come on the next Sunday?? "

" Umm, I am not sure... Actually we all will be very busy at that time so maybe, maybe not. So that's why I came today. "

" Bhaiya who is this didi?? "

" She is... Vidhi. "

" She is also your sister? "

" What ?? No, she is my... friend. she is Vikram juju's sister. "

" Friend?? Special friend ?? " One of the older kid said I smiled at that.

" Hmmm, special friend. " Shubh said with a smile.

" Hey everyone, see who has come?? She is Vidhi di, Bhaiya's girlfriend. " One of the boys who looked a bit naughty said aloud. Shubh tried to correct him but he kept shouting at the top of his voice. All the kids started clapping and they were jumping around us. Shubh had started blushing again. I loved it so much.

" Ok... Ok... So Vidhi and I are going to get married very soon. " He said with a smile and the kids started hooting.

The snacks were served, a pizza delivery man came with lots of pizzas and the children were so excited.

Shubh and I helped the workers to distribute the sweets and snacks to them.

They all were so happy and I looked at Shubh, the look of happiness and satisfaction made him look even more handsome.

He was such a nice man. A small girl came near him and he picked her up.

" Bhaiya, thank you for sending me a new dress and shoes for my birthday. They were so good. I love you... "

" Awwww... I love you too. I am happy you liked them. Now go and have pizza "

She kissed on his cheek and then on mine. I was so touched with her gesture. Shubh placed her on the floor. She ran towards the table where food was served.

We spend some more time with them. They told me a few things about Shubh and bhabhi. I was impressed to know that they both celebrated their birthdays with them specially Shubh. Last time he was in Jodhpur so he came later on.

Oh !! So he goes to the orphanage and old-age homes in Jodhpur as well as here.

I was glad to know that though he didn't like to waste money on unnecessary things. He loved to spend on the bare minimum necessities of these angels. A new dress and a pair of shoes give so much happiness to these kids while we buy them just because we felt like.

He made a difference in their life. I was so proud of myself for falling in love with him.

We came back to our car and all the kids followed us. They hugged him and me. The older ones wished us for happy married life to us once more. We slipped in our car and said bye to all of them.

He was driving back. We had food with kids, so we were not hungry. So we came back home.

He took me in his arms and kissed all over my face and said, " I enjoyed every moment for this whole day. How about you ?"

" Loved it. Thanks, I love you even more now. "

" I used to think I was too young to be married. But somehow, now I want this month to be over. I want to be with you all the time. " He said and I hugged him.

The marriage preparation was going in full swing. Manu had once told me that her friend Mohit was a very famous fashion designer. So I decided to do our shopping there.

I called her as she was living with Sahil Ji now after they had a small traditional wedding again. She picked up the phone.

I told her that I wanted to buy my wedding dresses and Shubh's outfits.

" Wow !! Mohit has so much variety right now as we are going to have an exhibition for his summer bridal collection and all his famous outfits."

I was very happy to know that and she asked me to come there and sent me the address.

Shubh's mom and dad had gone to Jodhpur. So bhabhi prepared breakfast for Shubh and then they dropped me at his place.

We rang the bell and the domestic helper opened the door. Bhai and bhabhi were getting late so they went away.

I went inside. But he was nowhere. I asked the helper and she said that he was still sleeping so I went to his room.

He was sleeping. I called his name and shook him.



Shubh's POV



It was morning, my clumsy beauty was coming and we were supposed to go shopping

Oh no... Shopping !! She did so much shopping for her brother's wedding. Now she would buy the whole city.

I didn't want to go shopping.

Just then I heard her coming. I closed my eyes and covered my face.

" Shubh !!! Shubh !! " She called my name and when I didn't say anything she shook me.

" Hmmm what??? " I said in a husky sleeping voice.

" What??? We have to go shopping. You are sleeping till now??"

Ha ha ha that's why I am sleeping...

" I am feeling sleepy... Please let me sleep. " I again said.

" Get up fast..." She pulled the cover off my face but I pulled it back.

" No... please "

" Shubh this is not fair... We have to go, I am so excited that we are going shopping together. I will do your shopping. "

That's what I am worried about... My wardrobe will start bursting.

" Somehow, I am not feeling so well. Some other day maybe. " I tried to convince her.

" What ??? No, today itself. "

" But I want to be in my bed... I don't want to get out... Next week we will go. " I said in my slurred voice as if I was too sleepy to get up.

" Actually, it's ok. You sleep I will go and do the shopping. "

" Alone?? " No way...

" Yeah... I will do for you as well. Bye."

" No !!! You will not go alone. " I said.

" I am going... "

" Please some other day... I can't let you go alone and I am feeling very sleepy. "

" Ok fine !!! "

Did I just hear ok??? Seriously ?? She agreed ?? Was it so easy?? Sweet girl. My clumsy beauty...

" FINE ?? Seriously??? Wow !!! " I smiled at her.

" Actually, yes... let's spend the day in bed, I am feeling sleepy too. " She said and removed her sandals, kept her bag on the table and lifted the covers of my bed and slid under it.

Oh My God !!!! No...

" What ??? " I got up with a jerk in a sitting position.

" What ?? " she asked innocently.

" What are you doing??? " I asked.

" Sleeping. "

No !!! I couldn't allow her to be in bed with me. I had already started getting turned on. I could not afford to do that.

" You can't ... " I said.

" I can. "

I was about to spring out of bed but she cuddled me. I was shocked as hell.

The blood started running through my body in supersonic speed. I had to get out of bed.

" Vidhi, you can't sleep here. "

" Why?? "

" It.. is..not... "

" Proper ?? I knew you would say that... I don't care. " she said and rolled her eyes.

She snuggled up and I loved it. I had already started feeling a few things and it was too dangerous.

" But... We can't do this... "

" We can sleep. Not doing anything else. "

" Go and sleep in Sandy's room. "

" I want to sleep here with you. This would be our room "

" No Vidhi... We can't sleep like this. " I removed her arms and got out of the bed at full speed.

" Ok fine... Now that you are fully awake and out of your bed, get ready fast. We are going shopping. " She smiled and winked at me.
