Vidhi's POV



We all were going to Mohit's workplace once again to shop for my wedding dress and dresses for bhabhi and mom and Shubh's mom and mamiji.

Manu had gone for her honeymoon with Sahil jiju. But I called Mohit Ji and he asked me to come over.

Shubh wanted to go with us because he didn't like Mohit's way of talking and didn't want us to go without him. But I didn't want him yo see my dress so we argued.

" Vidhi see I won't let you and Sandy go there without me or Vikram Ji. That is final. Didn't you see how he was flirting with you? Even Manyata is not there to stop him. "

" Chill Shubh our mom's are also going. "

" So I don't think he would flirt with them. "

" I meant to say that he would be in check with 3 older ladies. "

" No, I don't trust him. I can't let you go without me or your brother. "

" Bhai is busy in surgery and you can't come. "

" Then don't go. "

" Shubh !! Manu told you, he is a gem of a person. "

" I don't know... Even she is not there."

Ultimately I had to disturb Manu by calling her as I had to inform her about going to buy my dress and tell them to be back by our wedding. Which was in 15 days.

She tried to make him understand but he was adamant, then it seemed that he was talking to Sahil Ji. After they greeted each other, I saw Shubh's expression, he looked surprised or shocked.

" No !! What are you saying?? " His eyes were as big as saucers.

" Are you sure ?? He asked.

" So is it safe for them to go without me or Vikram Ji?? "

" Ok... I am letting them go as you are so sure about it. As I know, otherwise the way he flirts, you would not let your wife go and work with him. " he was calm and smiled.

He then asked them to be back by our wedding. And it seemed that they agreed. I was so happy. He disconnected the call and gave me the phone back and said that we can go.

" Hey what did jiju say to you that you looked so shocked and agreed to let us go without you. "

" Nothing... He said that Mohit is a nice man it is just his way of talking. But he talks to everyone like that. So you may go. "

He went to his office while we went shopping and brought my wedding dress. Everyone loved it, bhabhi and Moms also got many outfits and sarees from there. I was really happy. We all enjoyed a lot.



Shubh's POV



I was a bit relieved now after talking to Sahil. He told me that Mohit was not interested in Vidhi. But I was still a bit reluctant as I saw him flirting and then Sahil dropped the bomb on me by telling me that the target of his flirting was not my clumsy beauty but for me.

What?? He said all those things for me. Ughhh !! No !!

" No !! What are you saying?? " I asked.

" The truth... "

" Are you sure? " I asked Sahil again.

He laughed and said, " Absolutely, I been through that. My manu saved me. But since she can't save you since she is here, I suggest you let Vidhi and Sandhya Bhabhi go."

" So is it safe for them to go without me or Vikram Ji?? "

" Rest assured they are safe, but I can't say that for you or Vikram. " he laughed.

" Ok... I am letting them go as you are so sure about it. As I know, otherwise the way he flirts, you would not let your wife go and work with him. " I said.

" Good, trust me Shubh, he is a gem of a person and a very good friend. You can trust him. " Sahil l said.

I told him to be back by our wedding and he assured me that they would be back.

I went to my office and the women went for their favourite time pass. I had a few meetings lined up in the office and they took almost the whole day.

She called me once and said that she got her wedding dress and was very excited. I smiled at her enthusiasm. Oh, I wanted the wedding day to come soon now.

Only 10 days were left for our wedding. We were invited to Vikram Ji's place as tomorrow all 3 sets of our parents and Vidhi were going back to Jodhpur and we would not be able to meet till she comes for exchanging garlands with me.

We all went there and I saw my clumsy beauty she looked so pretty in that white and red-coloured suit that my heartbeat increased. My bride to be...

Seriously if Vidhi would have asked me to run away now with her, I would have done that. I didn't want her to go. But it was our tradition.

I took a deep breath and kept stealing glances at her. Everyone was talking about the wedding. We both kept looking at each other.

Then the food was ready and Sandhya and Vidhi started serving food. I went to them to ask if they need my help but Sandy said she had helpers to help and I can just chill.

But I wanted to spend some time with Vidhi but didn't know how??

I was still thinking some excuse to get some time alone with her when all of a sudden, sandy asked Vidhi to go and place a shallow platter of Dahi wada on the dining table.

She nodded and then she turned all of a sudden and some of the curd and the chutneys splashed on my shirt.

" Oh God sorry !!! I am so sorry. I am absolutely good for nothing. I should have been careful. " I saw her and smiled. She was looking so pretty and cute.

" It's ok... Don't panic. It will get cleaned. " I said.

" No, I can't do anything properly. I am just so clumsy... "

" Vidhi it's ok. Don't worry, Shubh I will give you another shirt. I will get it clean later on. " Sandy said and I nodded.

I went to clean it and she followed me after a minute with a new shirt. I took it and smiled at her but she looked sullen.

" Come or cute devil give me your beautiful smile, please. " I said while cleaning the curd off my shirt.

" Sorry, Shubh ... "

" Sorry ?? No, I am really happy. Thank you... "

" Please Shubh... Don't make fun of me," she said and I pulled her in my arms.

" C'mon yaar I was trying to get you alone as you are going tomorrow. We would not meet till our wedding. I was thinking of a way to meet you where I could hug and kiss you. I can't seem to get enough of you. I don't want you to go. " I said and she hugged me and placed her head on my chest.

" I love you and I am going to miss you too. When will you come?? I was thinking about that only when I banged into you. "

" It's ok my sweet and clumsy beauty. If you had not banged in me, we would not have been standing here like this. I will come at least 4 days before the wedding. So thanks and now let me kiss you before someone comes. I don't want to take the risk but can't afford not to kiss you right now. "

I bent and kissed her really hard. I wanted to kiss her senseless and then she kissed me back and I literally lost my mind and I tilted our faces for the better access of her mouth.

It was only when we could not breathe, I released her reluctantly and then I changed into that shirt. I told her to go after sharing one more haste kiss. I took a deep breath and went out.

" Where had you gone Shubh ?? " Vikram Ji asked when I came back.

" Oh, actually something got splashed on my shirt So I had to clean it. Then Sandy gave me this shirt. So I changed into it. "

" Ha ha ha. It must be Vidhi only. Right?? My sisters have this habit of splashing or throwing things at their men. Sandhya from next time we will get more new clothes for me. I must keep a few pair of clothes handy in case one of them wants to throw something at their poor husband. " he said and started laughing.

Everyone else asked what he meant and he explained how manu dropped the whole chocolate cake on Sahil and I smiled at that. Everyone kept smiling and laughing.
