Chapter 56

Vidhi's POV



We reached their ancestral haveli. It was beautifully illuminated with lights and lamps.

Shubh's mom and mamiji welcomed us with lots of love and warmth. Though I knew everyone as the place was new, I was feeling a bit apprehensive but then I saw Sandhya bhabhi.

Bhabhi and Bhai had also come as soon as we left she was Shubh's sister. She smiled at me which gave me assurance that everything is fine and she is there.

She hugged me and I felt at ease instantly.

After I entered the house with kumkum smeared feet and placed my hand's prints on the wall, I was led inside and the after the post-wedding rituals I was sent to my room with bhabhi and Manu.

For the first time, my heart was beating very very fast. The room looked like a dream, decorated with flowers and diyas there were many floating candles in big metallic shallow vessels. Light soft music was floating in the air.

It was all so romantic and reminded me that it was my wedding night. Though I had always teased Shubh I was feeling very shy and was a bit apprehensive about starting our married life.

I was aware that it was the first time I would be sharing the room with him as he was my husband now. Bhabhi and Manu tried to make me comfortable.

They went out after some time leaving me to rest.



Shubh's POV



All the rituals were done and mom asked Sandy to take her to our room. Vikram ji had come with Sandhya. He hugged her once again.

I was feeling very conscious of the fact that he was here and I was about to go to my room with Vidhi already there. Sahil, Samar and Sid had come here with me.

They started teasing me especially Sahil. He was a Satan incarnated as a human. He kept teasing me. Samar tried to stop him but he kept doing it. Both Vikram Ji and I got almost red with embarrassment.

" Enough Sahil !!! Please stop it. " Vikram said and started going out of the room. Sahil caught his arm to stop him.

" Why?? What is wrong with you?? You always tease everyone. "

" Yeah but I am not comfortable in this case. For god sake, Vidhi and Manu are my sisters and you and he are my brothers-in-law. I think I must leave. "

" Wait... Sorry, I didn't realise that... Sorry, Vikram. "

" It's ok Sahil... I know that. But we must leave now. It is a bit awkward. Shubh, all the best for your married life. Please take care of my sister. " He smiled at Sahil and then at me.

" Just rest assured Vikram Ji. Your sister is the most precious and important person in my life. I will take care of her. "

" Thanks... Good night. " He said and left.

" Oh, I am such an idiot. " Sahil said.

" Yes, you are... I tried to stop you but you are you. Both Shubh and Vikram were embarrassed. He is a protective brother just like you, imagine yourself in his place. I would be as embarrassed as Shubh was. "

" Oh god !!! What do I do now?? "

" Nothing, just shut up !! " Samar said and I smiled as I was a bit relaxed now that Vikram Ji had left.

" Sorry, Shubh !! " Sahil said and I smiled with a nod.

" But now that Vikram is gone, I can tease you. "

Is he the same man who was feeling sorry just less than one minute ago??

" No !!! " I said.

" See I am the only married man here. So if you need any knowledge or advice, feel free. As I am your co-brother, it is my duty to enlighten you. "

" Thanks a lot for your concern, but I don't need your help. " I said.

" Are you sure ?? "

" Absolutely. " I said and started going out.

" Use protection, ok ?? " Sahil said and Samar and Sid laughed.

" Shut up Sahil... " I said and came out and went towards our room.

Sandy was standing there with Manu. She was smiling at me.

" What?? Why are you smiling? Go home Vikram Ji is waiting for you. "

" Yeah sure, I would go but first you give me a gift if you want to go inside. "

" Why? It is my room?? "

" Yes my dear traditional brother but then are you not aware of this tradition?? You need to gift something to your sister before going in. "

She said. Sahil had also come there looking for Manu.

" Oh yes, I hate this stupid ritual. Bhabhi please let him go. Have mercy on your brother. He is dying to go out inside. "

" No way... My gift first. " She said like a child. She looked so cute doing that.

" Bhabhi you are looking like my sister Swati. She was so adamant. I was dying to meet my beautiful wife and she didn't let me go inside. " Sahil said and Samar, Sandy, Manu and Samar laughed.

" So she had every right to do that. " She said.

" Ok, what do you want ?? "

" I don't know... You should have thought about it. "

" Sahil what did you and Sagar gave to your sister. " I asked.

" Sagar gave her Samar and the latest phone," he said

" What ?? Samar ?? "

" Hmmm, he gave his acceptance for Samar. And I gave a laptop to her and had to admit that Damini is the best cook in the world which is absolutely wrong. Thank god she is not here, or she would have killed me. And I also gave her the latest phone. "

" Ok, I will get you whatever you want, phone or laptop or whatever you want. "

" Someone seems to be very eager to go inside. " She teased me and my face become hot.

" Oh God, he is blushing even more than Sagar. " Sahil started laughing.

" Sahil please shut up. " Manu said

" Make me darling. " He said seductively and her face also turned pink. It seems that Sahil came without a filter in his mouth.

" Sahil... Ok keep standing here, I am going to sleep. " She said and started going.

" Wait... darling, I am coming. Bye Shubh. All the best... " Sahil followed her after winking at me.

" All the best Shubh !! Goodnight. " Sandhya teased me and smiled.

" Sandy !! Good night. " I tried to scold her but a smile came on my face.

" Oh god !! you are blushing more than Vidhi. "

" Go Vikram Ji is waiting. "

" Hmm so that you can go inside... " She teased me again and then had mercy on me and went away.

I shook my head, opened the door and went inside

She was standing near the big window looking outside. I went near her and hugged her from the backside and kissed on her shoulder. She took a quick breath. I turned her slowly.

She was looking very pretty... I had never seen such a beautiful girl in my life. Her face was a bit pink.

Was she feeling hot or was blushing??

" So, Mrs Vidhi Shubhashish Singh Shekhawat, finally we are married and you are mine. "

" Hmm " she smiled a bit.

" Why are you standing here my clumsy beauty?? "

" It looked very filmy sitting on the bed waiting for you.

" I agree... But I want to see you like that. My beautiful bride waiting for me. " I whispered near her ear. She blushed.

" Are you blushing?? "

" No... "

" Why is your face so pink?? "

" I am feeling very hot. All these things are a bit too much. "

" Ok, so why didn't you changed the settings of the AC? I will drop the temperature. "

" I think I must change into normal clothes. "

" After some time, please. You are looking so pretty that I can't even blink. " I said and she smiled again.

I made her sit on the bed, sat next to her and took her face in my hand. She was smiling and I placed a kiss on her cheek.

" Thanks, beautiful !!! "

" What for?? "

" For falling on me that day. You are the best thing that has happened to me. " I said and removed her big nose ring and kissed her soft plump lips.

She smiled in that kiss, I pulled her in my arms and made her lie on me. It was such a nice feeling. Just like the first time when she fell on me.

My clumsy beauty was mine forever now. "
