Chapter 11

Alan went straight home after dropping Kelly off at her house. He changed his clothes and headed to the dining table as his father was waiting there. They were going to have dinner while talking about business, which was usually the case, but tonight he wanted to do something to talk about something really important other than business.

"Son, are you home yet? Sit down, I thought you'd be home late."

Alan smiled softly and sat in the chair across from his father. He was alone with the man, his only adopted son, while his adopted mother had passed away. That's why only his father was left.

"I have something important to talk about, Dad."

Jason looked at his son with a thoughtful face. "Discuss what?" he asked making Alan look at his father seriously.

"I can't accept the arranged marriage you're going to have with one of your business partner's children. I already have my own partner and I'm attracted to her, I don't want to marry another girl I don't love."

Jason looked calm, looking at his son seriously. "Oh yeah? Already have a girlfriend?"

Alan nodded flatly. "I told you that I can find my own partner, but I need time. Dad, you don't have to do anything to find a partner that I can marry. I can also make my own choices so in the future, can we cancel the marriage or arranged marriage? Right now I just want to focus on developing the company in a serious relationship with him. You can't possibly neglect my happiness just for such business matters, right? If it's just a matter of business cooperation between companies, I can also invite some other companies to cooperate with us. Surely it's not a difficult thing since I've made our company have many great business partners so far.

"Father must understand what it's like to marry a woman you want and love. There's no way Father would marry a woman I don't want, right? So I want to talk about this seriously, if Father still wants to set me up with her then I will refuse in front of them. I don't want to break my own heart so I won't accept the match you're going to make."

Jason stared at her in silence for a few moments, until finally he smiled and nodded. He saw his son's face which instantly changed for the better because of his agreement.

"If you want to choose, then you are indeed an adult. I also don't need to force you if that's the case, but I'll give you some time. You must bring the woman of your choice to Father immediately. If it takes longer or more than a month from now, I won't wait any longer."

Alan sighed and nodded. He knew that his father would not mess around, but he would also do his best to make Kelly fall into his arms.

"How, of course by using all my charm that is a true Alpha, I can definitely do it." Alan smiled softly after saying that in his heart.

He was sure he could, now he just needed to give the girl everything he had. After all, they had already made love, so she would soon become the Luna Aldrick wanted.

"Why can't I find Kyle's whereabouts?" muttered Kelly while looking left and right with a face full of doubt.

She didn't know what exactly had happened, yesterday she had only erased Kyle's memory of their romance, not its entire essence, right? Then why wasn't he home?

"I can't be wrong, where is he?"

Lazy to think too much, Kelly at least felt calmer that the man wasn't bothering her anymore. Right now she just wanted to rest because her body felt tired. This morning after returning from the club, she did not have time to rest so now Kelly intends to spend time in the room.

She turned on the water, filling the bathtub with the soap she had thrown away. Kelly's face was completely carefree, because she knew that it was nothing to think about.

Kyle, her mother or even her stepfather, Kelly was too lazy to think about them. All she had to think about was herself because she had to rest soon and spend her time in peace because after this she would try to live independently out there.

Alan... She didn't want to think about him too much, she was sure, Alan would just be a red flag, wouldn't have a stand. The man had a father who ruled his life, so right now there was no reason for them to explain this nonsensical relationship.

"Who believes that we are werewolves? That's ancient mythology, people won't even agree with that statement because it doesn't make sense now."

Kelly got into the bathtub, looking so comfortable and calm. She looked at her face reflected in the mirror in front of her.

"I may be Luna, but that doesn't mean I'm Aldrick's partner."

Kelly finished her bath, then looked ahead and put on her clothes and accessories. She dried her hair, put on her evening skincare and looked at her clean, fresh face.

Sighing, she felt not so beautiful. Why was that guy so obsessed with her? Kyle? That man could even find any other woman he wanted, why should Kelly? Like Aldrick, he wasn't even that pushy and obsessed because Aldrick knew that there were many women who were more beautiful than Kelly.

"I really don't understand the attitude of the two of them." Kelly pulled up the blanket, then closed her eyes tiredly.

"Let go of me, asshole! Why are you doing this to me? Where's Kelly? What did you do to her?"

As soon as Alan opened the cage door, Kyle's swearing sounded continuously until it made him smile casually.

"Stupid stepbrother," Alan taunted, making Kyle clench his hands that were tied to the post. "How can you like my mattress? Who are you to deserve it?"

"Mate?" Kyle looked at Alan in confusion. "What are you talking about! Who is your mattress?!"

"Kelly Flora..." Alan smiled as he said it, while Kyle looked like he wanted to rebel. "She is my woman, my eyes, my eternal partner. How could you pursue her love so foolishly?"

Kyle's face slowly fell silent, especially when he realized that this man was not messing around. Alan Wolfmes was a feared man in the city because he had the ability to do anything, including destroying the companies he had problems with.

"What exactly do you expect here, huh? There will be no comfort for you for daring to almost stain my eyes." Alan said again making the already silent Kyle even more silent. "There will be no freedom for you even though your father will bow at my feet."

The next day, Kelly was alone in this house and it was enough to make her wonder. Where was her invisible half-brother?

Kelly looked around the house and indeed found no one except the maid. The maid who was left behind by her parents who were on vacation at this time. She had no idea where Kyle had gone after spending the night with her.

Deciding to get ready, have breakfast and get to work. Some of the maids were watching her with unusual gazes which made Kelly know that they must be gossiping about her behind her back. Her presence here was certainly not expected by the servants although her stepfather did not mind.

"This girl is an unrighteous child, she came home yesterday morning from nowhere."

"Yes, she's also stupid and ignorant. It's as if she's just a mistress. Even though her mother doesn't care about her either since she remarried. I'm sure she'll be kicked out of here soon."

Kelly sighed, picked up her bag and got up from her seat. "I think it's time for me to find an inn or a place of my own. Being here with them won't make me happy either," she said with a sigh.

She headed to the front yard and frowned when she saw a car with someone leaning casually against it.

Taking a deep breath, Kelly really didn't expect this person. What was he doing? Why did he have to come here?

"Sir, who are you looking for here?"

Alan smiled a little and then moved to put his hands in his pants pockets. "Looking for my Lun," he replied casually while Kelly looked at him expressionlessly. "Her house is here, so I came."

"Dream!"

Kelly was about to leave but Alan had already grasped her hand and looked at her face soulfully.

"You're not curious about your stepsister's news, hmm?"

Kelly looked at him with a serious face, until Alan smiled and looked at him with a serious look at Kelly.

"You... What have you done to him?!"

Damn, Alan must have known that Kyle had defiled him, right? That's why this man was raging at the stupid and careless Kyle.

"I only did what was appropriate to protect you, Luna." Aldrick said casually making Kelly gulp. "Want to hear the full story? Come in and join me, otherwise..."

"What? What are you going to do?"

Alan smiled slightly, then moved slowly closer to her. "If not, I'll kiss you."

Kelly chuckled and looked at Alan's handsome smiling face. She didn't know how this man could threaten her like that. In fact, he should have done something terrible to Kelly.

Getting into his car, Kelly looked at Alan's face who was already smiling casually. The man closed the door and walked around his car, allowing Kelly to see Alan who was already behind the wheel.

"So, where's Kyle?"

"His name is Kyle?" asked Alan casually, making Kelly look at him flatly.

"No need to beat around the bush, nor should you do unnecessary things like this. Even if he wants to defame me, so what? That's my business with him."

Alan looked at the girl's face with a serious gaze. "That violates your nature as a Luna."

"I don't agree with being a Luna, what can you do?"

The car stopped on a road, and Alan approached Kelly who was beside him.

"What you do won't change anything either, Luna. You are my Luna, that fact will never change, past or present."

Kelly had a sardonic smile on her face. "How dare you do that, you're going to be set up with one of your father's business partner's children-"

"I already turned it down last night."

Kelly narrowed her eyes. "No way."

"If you don't believe me, come have dinner with Dad and I'll introduce you as my future wife."

The serious look on Alan's face as he said that made Kelly pause. The man's face came closer, looking at her soulfully.

"It wasn't Kyle who had sex with you the first time, Luna," he said as he looked deeply into Kelly's pouting face. "I wouldn't let him live if he was the one who touched you. Don't you remember who satisfied you many times? I did it that night."

Kelly's frown made Alan touch her head with the palm of his hand and Kelly could feel the images of that night moving in her head and made her recall the night when she made love to a man in a drunken state.

However, this time Kelly could remember and clearly see the man's face and it was really the man who was in front of her at the moment.

"Do you remember, baby? We made love that night and I marked it as Luna. So... Marry me."
