Chapter 31
"This is my clan."
Kelly opened her eyes, staring at the other world that was clearly visible in her eyes. It was true, it looked like another world, very different from the human world and it made Kelly a little amazed.
"The nature is beautiful."
Alan smiled, leading her on. "It used to be more beautiful than it is today but because my father was an arbitrary leader who liked to destroy things just for his own personal gain, it is like this now. Back when I was first born and raised, this place was much more beautiful than it is now. I still remember how my mother used to take me walking around here and introduce me to all the places. It's very different from what it is now because of my father's disgraceful actions," he said making Kelly look at Alan's face who seemed to be staring ahead.
The mountains were visible there and it made her know that what he was saying was true. This place used to be beautiful, now it's even more beautiful than it used to be. Sometimes with the creatures living in it, a place like this can be destroyed. Just like the human world, a lot of natural resources and natural beauty were destroyed just because of the lust of humans.
Until whenever it will all go on, it will all happen because it is difficult for humans to realize except when the world is destroyed.
"When are we going to attack if it's like that? Are you going to keep pushing back the time?"
Alan sighed softly and smiled. "We're going to my secret base," he said making Kelly raise an eyebrow. "We'll see what new preparations the soldiers can use to do it. We'll be the frontline but the warrior part will still face the warriors. These past few years I've asked my assistants to train them how to take down without liking it too much. They can't get hurt at all because this will only be a problem and they won't trust me. If it's just wounding it will only make them distrust my leadership and maybe I'll be regarded as a master tool who likes to destroy things.
"I've been thinking about this warfare technique for years and the gentlest way is to injure but it won't do anything. They just need to be subdued and it won't do them any harm, I've organized everything and I'll make sure it's a fair war with no intention of destroying anything. Because after all they will still be clan soldiers so they must not be harmed."
"Are you sure they'll think about that? What if they think you've usurped your father's power?" Kelly asked making Alan smile softly.
"That's the very thought they're being indoctrinated with. You don't know how miserable they are right now just that they still have to work and do activities or tasks as arranged by my father. I told you that many of our citizens and people are suffering and that is a truth that cannot be denied. My father has gone too far and I will not let it get any worse. One of the head soldiers had already told me to attack but I was waiting and looking for you because with the power you gave me I will be able to become an unrivaled figure.
"My father has never pumped up his abilities since Luna or his eternal mate died. In this clan we would fear Luna because we were created imperfectly in Luna's absence. That said, it's also not something that makes us obedient and submissive even if we don't love her. Here I am saying that everything is as expected so there won't be any problems whatsoever."
Kelly nodded her understanding in the end, then looked at Alan's face who was leading her forward. They were heading somewhere but on foot instead of teleporting like they did earlier. After all Kelly admitted that while walking was also very comfortable and made her like it, the place was very nice and it made her feel better because she rarely walked around in the human world.
At this time when she got it, of course Kelly was very happy. The woman walked hand in hand with Alan, seemingly enjoying their time even though she knew they would soon be going to war. It might not be a full-blown war but an attack that resulted in a clan change, but no one could have predicted what would happen in it. There might be loss of life and other destruction, but basically the attack would stop unless someone was sacrificed.
"But the hope of Alan and the people of this clan to live in peace and the power to change many of the rules and systems is very great. I can't just think of myself if I can give them that peace and dream. I know it won't be easy to do but I believe I can. Even if I have to sacrifice my life, I will probably do it because your one life is nothing compared to the thousands of lives here.
"Being able to feel Alan's love and affection for the past few weeks while we were in a relationship and becoming husband and wife was already a fortune for me. I felt it was enough because I never got it again. I'm sure it would have been more appreciated and made more sense if I had grown up and chosen to save the clan over myself. Later tonight will also be able to live and choose another woman to serve as a companion. I want to be able to, I'm sure I'll be able to experience and face everything."
That was Kelly's hope that she wouldn't tell Alan because he would be furious if she knew and made her own decision like that. Alam Tarakan swears by her words because after all this man hopes that she will but live to be this man's wife. Jelly did hope to live a long time but the lives of the children and the people here were far more important to her than even her own animals. Of course you wouldn't mind if she would sacrifice her life for the sake of prosperity.
They entered the enclosed area that was guarded so tightly by the magic portal and the light that seemed so strong. Once inside Kelly found a lot of people inside who were half wolves because they were werewolves. Some of them who realized Alan's arrival immediately saluted and greeted politely, their respectful attitude made him amused to finally know if it was possible that this was the clan or area where Alan had hidden his combat-ready and training people.
For now it seemed that she would just ask her husband a lot of questions and smile with a soulful face when she heard his story. Kelly quite liked this place and she found some people who were already working on tasks.
"This is my hidden clan, I built it from my followers only Rocky but now they realize that I have more advantages than my father. They won't be able to face the threatened vision and mission, making them live in distress. Sooner or later they will also accept the fact that I can lead them better and won't cause them any trouble."
Kelly smiled at that and looked at the place in front of her. A stately mansion looked like a palace, making Kelly approach it.
"Hidden clan is quite big, why don't you become the leader here and take over all the people's hearts? Wouldn't that be easier? There won't be any significant wars and if your father has lost the people it will be easier to make him lose power."
"I had a chance to negotiate that with the people," Alan said making Kelly look at him. "But there is no way out because this place is too small for so many of us. This place can't be used as a second clan to usurp the main clan. After all there are not a few people who want to live and belong here, most of the others are in different places and may of course make the problem not stop here.
"I don't have to take the main clan to get all the pieces because I will be chosen to be a small leader, but an all-around leader. It's already a decision, Kelly, it's not as easy as one might think. I can't possibly let my people on this side be happy and on the other side not. However, things are not that easy. I'm not going to cause destruction in any way. The risk of me not acquiring all of them will be dangerous because my father will definitely find a way to destroy the rest of those who did not get my protection."
Kelly paused then looked at him with a serious face. "Isn't it possible to expand the territory?"
"You can, it's just that it's not conducive. It's better to take everything out of Father's hands because it will be difficult for them to marry the fact that I'm the new leader. The system and all sorts of rules will also be changed so that we can get the old prosperity back. Plus, with all that, it will be easier to lead it than having to hide like this."
Kelly sighed and nodded slowly in agreement. After all, it was hard to think about. If you can do it as a whole, why do it piecemeal? If you fix everything from the center, it will be easier for everyone to get the same rights.
