Kelly opened the car door and got in while holding her head in pain. It had been quite a tiring day for her and she was just getting home now, when Alan was rumored to be going to a company to review the company's construction.

After scolding him earlier and asking him to revise the file, Kelly no longer saw him and she only went home now because she felt that her work was done and the department would submit it to the CEO tomorrow.

"I don't know if it's because there are other problems or not in the file, I've been throwing up all day finishing it."

It was no easy matter, Kelly was a new graduate who still didn't have much experience in this regard. But she has been given a task and responsibility big enough to make her feel very tired at the moment. Not to mention that Kelly had to learn those great powers and abilities, she couldn't just run everything as she had done before.

Arriving home and Alan not yet back, Kelly sighed and decided to clean herself up before going in and sleeping on the bed. Earlier before going home, she had looked at the food place for a while and ordered one of the meals at the company restaurant, so now she was very tired and wanted to sleep immediately.

"Hopefully when I get home he won't be angry that I didn't contact him all day."

Kelly hugged the bolster pillow, closed her eyes and actually fell asleep. Kelly didn't know when the man would come home. What was certain was that now her energy was completely exhausted so she was unable to do anything.

In the morning, she weakly sat up in bed and did not find Alan there. She wondered where he had gone and when she looked at the messages there were none on her cell phone from Alan. Was he angry with her for leaving and not coming home until now?

Calling Rocky, it rang twice before the call was picked up.

"Miss, sorry but still on the road and not back yet. Sir is resting after an all-night review so can't talk to you."

Kelly sighed, she disconnected the call and lay down on the bed lazily. Her body felt very tired and she wanted to sleep again but it was impossible because she had to go to work today. She was still an active employee and couldn't be absent just because the man at the helm of the company was her husband. Her father-in-law still worked for the company so Kelly couldn't mess around and just go in or out as she pleased.

"Hopefully it will get better later, I have to calm my mind and focus my heart first so I won't be so tired."

Kelly entered the company with the driver again and she was a little unenthused. Maybe if Alan was here she would have been better off but now he hadn't even arrived yet, while she was already at her desk and staring at one of her coworkers.

"I've delivered your file to the CEO's desk and when the CEO comes, he'll review it. Why didn't you come to the CEO's office last night to deliver it yourself? The CEO was looking for you for almost half a day but you weren't there."

Kelly sighed softly and smiled, she didn't say anything else and just explained softly that she had been the first CEO last night even though it was a lie. She also knew that she had gone too far by going and disappearing from people's sight just to work on the files, but all that Kelly did was also to keep her heart from getting angrier and hurt.

As the leader of the company Alan must have considered many things and he couldn't just destroy her. She had just become a wife but was already being troublesome, what she had given Alan was nothing but he had given her so much. Kelly should not bring her feelings into this and take seriously the tasks that had been given to her.

"What if he gets angry and doesn't want to see me?"

Kelly sighed softly, she did her first task then saw the elevator doors open and Alan came out of there walking at a loss towards his room. Kelly watched him walk until he finally stopped in front of her desk and gave her a serious look.

"Come to the room."

The words said seriously and flatly made Kelly finally nod and walk after the man. Alan looked quite busy and hurried, he didn't even have time to change because the clothes he was wearing were the same as last night.

"Luna, these are the clothes that Alpha will change into." Rocky said as he handed her a paper bag making Kelly nod and enter the room to catch up with Alan.

She saw that the man was opening his suit, so Kelly walked slowly to him before giving the paper bag to Alan who was already looking at her expressionlessly.

"I know I was wrong last night for not picking up your call and not seeing you before you left. But I have to finish my assignment before I can relax because it will be used today and I spent quite a while revising and working on the rest. The meeting will be at 10:00 later while at this time I was also called here so I knew that I didn't have much time so I had to finish it last night too."

Alan gave him a deep look. "Why come into the company?"

Instead of answering what Kelly said the man asked something else and it made Kelly quite surprised. She looked at Alan who looked serious, before clasping her hands nervously.

"HRD didn't tell me that I wasn't asked to come today. They should have called me to pick up the dismissal letter, right? I didn't get the letter so it came in."

Alan took a step closer, then pulled his girl into a hug. "Who said that I would fire you? Who would dare to fire you here? I asked you why you came in while your face was so tired and your under-eyes were black? You should have taken some time off at home and handed over all the rest of the files to the others for them to take care of."

Kelly looked up, she stared at the man's face with an incredulous look making Alan move and hug her gently before hiding his face in Kelly's fragrant neck.

"You shouldn't bother, although I'm not asking you not to stop working but I'm not asking you to trouble yourself too much. Your condition is weak right now, you need to get enough rest and take some energy boosting medicine. If you keep this up you'll get hurt and it'll be hard to heal you."

Kelly was silent, she expected to get angry from this man but even in such a tiring time Alan still tried to pay attention to her.

"I'm incompetent," Kelly said as she tried to push the man's body away from her first. "I have so many things to do and my body can't handle it. How am I going to help you in the war if I can't even handle all this? I just do my duty and try to do my best but still I fail and feel weak myself. My strength isn't that strong, it's not like I'll be able to help you since I don't have any more abilities.

"My strength hasn't increased either even though I've been practicing it these past few days. I'm a lousy Luna and you're spending quite a long time teaching and helping me. I didn't have any progress regarding my abilities or powers as Luna and it affected my work in the human world. I'm not focused on making cooperation files and almost cost you money, I can't help you with small matters and I don't even pick up your calls when you might be leaving for a branch company. I'm a lousy wife."

Alan rubbed Alisha's face gently, before shaking his head lightly. "You don't have to say that because you tried your best. Last night when I called you, I wanted to apologize for saying harsh words that were enough to cause you pain. I shouldn't have said such words that made you even think about it. You going away and hiding yourself from me made me a bit of a fog but I knew that you might need some time. I had intended to apologize when I got home but suddenly I had to go to the branch company because there was a problem there.

"It wasn't for a while but quite a while and it made me really spend all night to take care of what happened. After that I just went to this company and last night I also didn't have time to contact you because it was quite busy there. When I called you your cell phone was also off so I thought maybe you were resting so you couldn't pick up my call. You've been struggling a lot by accompanying me from zero like this, I'm even still bothering you in the company business and it's something that must be very tiring for you. So I'm going to reorganize some things in the company so that you don't get too much work. Rocky will sort it out soon so that you have a chance or a break and not brighten your life actually on the work you are doing."

Kelly was silent at that, then brought herself into the man's arms. "Why didn't you ask me to stop working? Why didn't you ever force me?"

Alan kissed the top of his wife's head then kissed her shoulder affectionately. "I know that you're a strong and independent Luna so I didn't want to get in the way of your desires and preferences. I just want to keep you in your place and get equal rights, with all that you'll surely feel freer if you do. But I'm still not good at being your husband so you're having a lot of trouble. You'll keep working and then don't argue when Rocky and I take less work off you than your other friends."

Kelly smiled and nodded. She rubbed her husband's firm body then kissed his firm jaw.

"Thank you for caring enough, thank you also for giving me the chance to live and do well."

Alan smiled and pulled her by the scruff of the neck, kissing Kelly soulfully before he finally led her towards the bedroom.

"Let's make love first, I've missed you so much."
