Chapter 25

For the dinner Alan had even hired a designer for the dress Kelly would wear so for the wedding the man was much more structured and prepared everything very well.

The man had asked his assistant to prepare a few things related to the wedding. Of course the assistant and also the secretary of his female staff were appointed to take care of some of these matters together with Kelly, while she was busy finishing the rest of her work so that the wedding day would run smoothly without anyone who would make her think about other things of their happiness.

Kelly had just finished choosing a few things and looked at Alan who had just come out of the bathroom until she smiled and asked him to sit next to her, there was something that Kelly wanted to say and that of course made Alan quite curious.

"We're getting married and renting a ballroom? Isn't that too much? It's not that we have to rent a ballroom or a fancy place, it's just that we've made a pact and we're living a happy life together and we'll be together forever. So are you really going to hire a ballroom?"

Alan nodded casually at Kelly's question, he had actually expected this woman to ask about it so he had prepared an answer and wouldn't change his decision because he wanted to introduce to many people that Kelly was his future wife. He was very proud, but Kelly's gaze seemed to be displeased with his nod.

"Why do you look like you don't like it? Do you want us to have a wedding so lavish that it looks like money? I'm much more relaxed and confident if we use a much more private way because I don't want to be recognized too much and it will only make me feel unfree. After becoming your wife I will still be doing a lot of activities and that will only be disturbed by my status being known to people." Kelly said trying to give a reason that might be accepted by his mind.

*You know, I am an Alpha. I have the ability to divert their thoughts and control them from even a very distant way just to make our lives and travels normal. We will still get married in the church for the blessing and then we will continue the reception on the same day at the wedding hall I have rented. I'm doing all that so that you can be confident and there's no thought of me hiding our marriage if we do it in privacy.

"Besides, if you're afraid of being bothered by the dead, there will be bodyguards who will take care of you wherever you go. You don't have to worry about them making sure that no one will be able to bother and approach you openly just because they know that you are my wife."

Seeing Alan's seriousness, Kelly sighed and knew that she wouldn't be able to change this man's mind so she could only remain silent and look forward to their upcoming wedding plans.

She realized that she was the only one here who would be ignored about her marriage by her mother and stepfather. Meanwhile, Alan was the golden boy even though he was only his father's adopted son at the moment. Alan's marriage was something his father really wanted so they should use the reception to show that they were happy.

Discussing a few things and choosing the food that they would serve, after that Kelly fell asleep because she was tired. Alan looked down at her hair as she slept face down, rubbing her back to make her more comfortable.

After making sure Kelly slept well Alan walked over and picked up the laptop that was on the table. He would continue his work because right now all he had to do was keep living life the same way and had to continue working well in order to get a few days off after the wedding.

He would also soon bring Kelly to the clan and show her what life was like there. Sooner or later a war would be created and it had already made those who were preparing long ago to face a war with the palace just to bring down the leader and the evil people.

"Hopefully you really won't do anything wrong, huh? May you stay safe until whenever because I'm not sure that the war won't have casualties but hopefully the casualties won't be between the two of us. I love you and I waited for you to grow up and have even waited until this time where we will soon get married. Hopefully there won't be any drama that will ruin my life again to the point that things don't turn out as expected."

That night she slept for a long time because she had a lot of business and activities to complete before the wedding. The wedding was fast approaching and he couldn't afford to play games or Kelly would feel that it was a beautiful game while he was completely in love with this wedding and even with Kelly herself.

In this concept she hoped that she could really make things better, because she would have an ease that she could use for her own future.

That morning Kelly seemed to be eating well. She looked at Alan who was also eating with her before she could finally ask the man who was now officially her future husband.

"You look tired, what time did you sleep?"

Alan raised his eyebrows and smiled warmly. "Almost dawn."

Kelly sighed. "It's best not to get too busy with all the things you're going to take care of before the wedding. You're always sleeping in and getting busy on the wedding day, how long will it take? What if you get sick when we're getting married? Two days to go, Alan."

The man smiled, chewing the meat on his plate. "I don't get sick easily, darling. An Alpha doesn't get sick easily because he has very high resources in his body. You don't need to worry, it's also nothing compared to the old days when I had to stay up all night for about a week just to make sure there wasn't a new attack. That one was much longer and I wasn't even sick at all so you don't need to worry, my body is not a human mana body so it's much stronger than you think."

Kelly sighed feeling reassured as the man assured her with a serious look. She knew that Alan couldn't be lying, Alan must have that ability if he really was an Alpha.

"I will prove nothing happened and you will be able to see it. Eat up, your food is getting cold."
