Chapter 84: Stone
I pulled at his black aura. I sucked all his magic from him. I took every last ounce. His face went slack with pleasure. I didn't look down. I didn't want to see what it did to him. But I was merciless. I took it all. I took every last ounce of the black aura, but I didn't stop. I didn't want to. I wanted all of it. I wanted to make sure he never hurt another person again. He couldn't have any power left. Never again.
His body leaned against my hand. I pushed him away. He fell back then slumped into a heap at my feet. His eyes stared up at the ceiling. I froze. What had I done? I saw no aura coming off of him. He wasn't moving. He lay in a sprawl across the floor with a yellow smock and some cum stained kakis. I tried not to look, but it was impossible not to see the huge mess he'd released because of my power. I grimaced. I made him do that. Gross.
I took a step forward then very slowly pressed two fingers to his throat. There was no pulse. He was dead. I had killed him. My heart sped. I had killed him. I could feel the panic rising in my throat. I was going to get caught. I was going to be caught for killing someone because I was a murderer.
I closed my eyes. Wait. No. I had to be rational. I had to be calm. I took a deep breath. He was a bad guy, a very bad guy. I had just rid the world of a bad guy.
The magic sparkled at my fingertips. I could feel Mr. Kline's power inside me. I wondered if I could use it. I pushed it out through my fingers. The pink magic latched on to him, but I couldn't control his body parts. The power seeped back inside of him. I could feel him like an extra attachment. I couldn't control him, but I could feel him like I was playing with a doll. I pushed a little more power inside him. I willed his heart to beat again. It did.
He gasped. I jumped back.
Oh shit. I brought him back to life. I panicked. I kneed him in the head, hoping it would knock him out, and then I ran. I used my new stolen energy to fortify my heart as my feet pounded against the stone. I skid around the corner. There were so many different corridors. I dashed around them, looking for the table room. I finally found it. I ran to the iron door. The same red aura was blocking it.
"Open," I commanded. I released my energy into it, but the energy just sparkled.
"Fine," I said. I sucked at it. The red energy faded. I pulled it inside of me. It felt like sludge. It wasn't a good feeling like when I pulled from a person, but instead, it felt like I was carrying a ton of bricks around. I fiddled with the latch and walked through.
My footsteps were heavy as I marched through the tunnels. I walked for a long time in the cold dark hallways. I finally stumbled upon an iron door. I sucked its energy too. I felt even worse. I could barely put one step in front of the other. I hugged the wall as I pulled myself along. I had to get out of here. I had to see the light of day again. Anything.
I climbed some wooden stairs. At the top of the landing was a simple wooden door.
"Unlock," I commanded. My pink energy glittered and clicked it open.
I stumbled through the door. The room was as dark as the tunnels. I tripped over something in the dark and then another few things.
"Hello?" A voice called from above.
I flailed around. I think I was amid a bunch of boxes and storage bins. A light flipped on. Footsteps came closer.
"Hello?" A young man asked from a staircase above me. He seemed to be a couple of years younger than me.
I realized I was in a basement. I pushed the boxes aside.
"Umm... hello. I'm sorry. I'm not sure how I got here."
The man crept down another two stairs. He held a baseball bat in one hand. "Get out!"
"I'm trying. I'm sorry."
"Where did you come from? How did you get in?" His voice was cracking. He sounded young, but not like a child.
I reached my feet and took a few steps towards the stairs. "I came through that door. I was wandering around for hours. I'm sorry. I really didn't mean to break in. I just wanted out of there."
The man looked between me and the door I pointed at. "What door?"
"Damn Veil," I whispered.
"What?"
"Could you help me? I'm sorry. I'm not feeling great. I have no idea how I got down here. Please, just show me out." I held my hand out to him. I put on what I hoped was a pathetic smile. I tried to look small and helpless.
The man looked at my hand then to my face. His bat lowered ever so slightly. "Alright, come upstairs."
His hand reached for his pocket, which I assumed was a cell phone. I lunged forward and grabbed his arm. He shrieked and tried to pull back. I pulled just a little energy from him, and he relaxed. His pajama pants turned into a tent. I sighed. What a horrible power.
"What's your name?" I asked.
"Jessie," he said as if he was in a daze.
"Jessie, can you just let me borrow your phone for a minute?"
"Yeah, sure." He handed the phone over.
I tapped at the phone until I found the phone number to the Ardor Bar. I called it.
"Hello?" A woman's voice answered.
"Is Liam there?"
"No, he's out."
"Is Anton there?"
"Who's Anton?"
"My brother. We just moved in upstairs."
"Oh. Wait. Kira?"
I squeezed my eyes shut. "Yes, sure. Kira. Can I talk to someone in charge?"
"They have been looking everywhere for you. There is a huge gang war right now. Most everyone is out."
"Great. Okay, well, can you send someone to get me?"
"Yes, certainly. Where are you?"
I looked at the young man in front of me. He was blinking as if my magic was wearing off. I pulled a little bit more out of him. His erection stiffened. I moved up a step, so it wasn't at face height anymore.
"Here, can you tell her your address?"
Jessie nodded. He took the phone from me. "343 Journey street," he said. He handed the phone back.
"Wow, you are all the way across town. I'll send someone out. They are going to be so happy to see you."
"Yeah, thanks. Wait, what was your name?"
"Cherry."
Of course, it was. "Okay, thanks, Cherry. I'll see you when I get there." I tapped the phone to end the call.
"Alright, Jessie, can you take me to the front door without being seen?"
He bobbed his head. "You're really pretty."
I smiled tightly. "Thank you. The door, please?"
"Will you hold my hand?"
I held his extended hand. I didn't pull any more power from him. I wasn't sure what it would do to a human. It seemed to addle their minds. The orcs, giants, and other man-like looking creatures at the bar had only looked like junkies, but this boy looked like a love slave. I really needed to ask more questions about who and what were exactly in this gang I seemed to be in charge of.
Jessie led me to the front door. The whole house was dark, but there was enough light from the kitchen to see me safely to the door. I stepped out into the chilly fall air. I took a deep breath. It was nice to be outside, finally. I felt a little freer. Jessie watched me like my most adoring fan.
"Okay, Jessie. This was such a nice dream, wasn't it?"
He cocked his head at me.
I pulled a tiny bit of energy from him. His erection stiffened. "Right? A dream?"
"This is a dream? If this is a dream, then let's do it right here, baby. Right on my parent's door."
Yeah, so that plan backfired. "Yeah, uh, no. Here..." I pulled a tiny bit more.
Jessie sucked in a breath and shuddered in pleasure as he orgasmed.
"See, nice dream. Okay, go back inside and forget about me."
I walked away from him while he groaned with pleasure. I didn't really want to see himself mess his pants. All it did was make me horny, and that made me sad. I walked down the block quickly as I left Jessie's house. The sooner I was away from this mess, the better.
