Chapter 25

“What the fuck happened to her?” I yelled, pissed as I held Haruna by her neck and pushed her against the wall. She gasped, looking at me shocked, unable to move. 

“I-I don’t know.” She breathed out, shaking underneath my hold. “I found her like this.” She told me, her voice quivering, making me squeeze her neck tighter and getting closer to her face. 

“Get out.” I demanded, fighting the urge to just rip her heart out right now as I let go of her. She looked at Cassia once more before vamp speeding out of the room. I let out a breath and walked over towards her. She was still naked, her dress was no longer useful. Shit, who the fuck did this to her? I removed my shirt and put it on her. She was still breathing, which meant she was still alive. 

“I’m so sorry.” I told her, feeling guilty. I should’ve been here to protect her. I shouldn’t have let her come here alone. She must’ve been so scared. I hated that this happened to her, but I know she’ll be fine. Once she wakes up, she’ll forget all about it. I picked her up and walked out of the school. I used the front door to avoid being seen. People were still partying as if nothing had happened. I opened my car door and laid her down on the back seats. I checked her over one again and stopped looking at her neck. Shit! No. I moved her hair out of her neck and started panicking. She was healing, her wounds were closing up on their own. Fuck! I checked her neck for her necklace but it was no longer there. FUCK! I quickly closed the door of my car and locked it. I walked back inside the school and started searching for her necklace. I needed to find that necklace!

Fuck, it was her. I knew she looked familiar. Her creamy skin and beautiful long hair, they were still the same as the first time I had met her. She still tasted and felt amazing too. I had taken her without her permission but I didn’t care, she was mine. Hann was nicely tucked away, giving me full control. It had been so long since I had this much control. It felt amazing. He was weak, his mind and body completely gone from the alcohol. He barely fought for control. I knew I didn’t have much time until he fully regain consciousness. I needed to make the best out of this. I smiled, playing with Cassia’s necklace inside my hands. I had taken it off of her after sensing black magic coming from it. I knew she wasn’t human and it was confirmed after I removed her necklace. The necklace suppressed her powers and ability, making her human. It was specifically designed and spelled for her. 

“Where is she?” I turned around and saw a man walking inside and towards where Haruna was. Was he here for Cassia? Was he her boyfriend? Did she have a boyfriend? I’ll fucking kill him if he was, she was mine. Once the necklace was removed, I felt our bond, our connection. It was still there. All that anger I was feeling had been gone and replaced with lust and need for her. I had bit her which ended up marking her to Hann also. He will feel the bond and connection between Cassi and I when he wakes up.

It had been two weeks since cassia got raped. She was still unconscious, I thought she’d be awake by now but she wasn’t. She no longer had her necklace which meant she was fully healed now and she should remember everything from her past.

It was all my fault. I failed to protect her and keep her away. Now I had to explain everything to her and deal with the consequences. I knew she was going to hate me once she wakes up. I guess I just have to be ready for it, but until then, I needed to find who ever did this to her. That bastard was sure going to pay for it. 

I heard Cassia screaming and got up from the couch I was sitting on. I quickly rushed to her room and opened the door. I stopped, watching her, she was no longer laying down. She was standing in front of her mirror, touching her face. She turned towards me and growled. Her eyes were bright yellow and her teeth were now replaced with an unnaturally sharp canines. 

“What did you do?” She growled angrily. Fuck! She moved towards me, making me quickly back up. 

“Cassia, you need to calm down.” I told her, but regretted it right away. Her eyes turned red for a few seconds before going back to her bright yellow. I’ve seen her angry before but this was the first time her eyes turned red. She charged at me in full speed, knocking both of us down to the ground. Fuck! 


• Hann • 


Two weeks, that’s how long Abius had control over my body. I had no idea what had happened and why I was out for a whole two weeks. He’s never been out for that long, usually a day or two. I was unaware of what he did but I knew nothing good came out of it. ‘Oh do not worry. I made sure to be discreet.’ Abius said, making me scoff. Discreet my ass. All he ever did was hurt people and father would have me locked up if he found out I hurt someone. 

‘We’ll find out once I leave this room.’ I told him and he laughed. ‘Yes, we will.’ I rolled my eyes and walked downstairs and towards the dining room. I stopped, seeing everyone sitting at the table. Shit! Usually that only happened when something happened and father needed to talk to us. 

“앉다.” (Take a seat.) Father said sternly, his voice deep, laced with anger and disappointment. I inhaled deeply and sat down across from Haruna, knowing this wasn’t going to go well. I looked at her but she quickly looked away. ‘What did you do?’ I asked Abius, everyone’s vibe was off. He stayed quiet, adding more to my annoyance. I looked at father, the anger in his voice now visibly clear on his face. 

“One of your classmate was found raped inside of the principal’s office.” Father said and I looked at him shocked. ‘What the fuck did you do, Abius?’ I asked, angrily. Father had a strict rule on how we do things in this world. Violence wasn’t allowed, any type of violence, especially rape. Who ever violated that rule was sentenced to death. Which means the only person who was brave enough to break those rules was me. Well in my case, Abius.

’Oh don’t worry. She’s fine.’ Abius laughed, making me growl. ‘Who was it?’ I questioned, already having a feeling on who it was. ‘You already know who.’ He answered. Laughing again. What was wrong with him? 

“Hann.” Father called and I looked up at him. “What happened?” He asked and I looked down ashamed. I had no idea what had happened. I drank to much, which caused me to lose control. It was my fault for being so irresponsible. It was my fault for drinking passed my limits. If I hadn’t drank, this wouldn’t have happened. 

“I don’t know.” Was all I told him and he got up. Making me get up as well. “What are you doing?” I questioned as he walked towards me. 

“What I should’ve done a long time ago.” He informed and I looked at him confused. I heard chanting from behind me and turned around seeing a coven of witches walking towards me. Witches? Pain soon took over my whole body and I fell on my knees screaming. 

“What are you doing?” I screamed at him, the room was soon replaced with darkness and I fell unconscious.
