Chapter 27
• Haruna •
“Cassia?” I called, looking at her. She was different and her scent, oh my god. “You’re a werewolf?” I questioned, her scent was very strong. Even a weak vampire could smell her. How was this possible? She was human. Hann told me she was human. Did she trigger her curse? But how? She needed to kill a human to trigger her curse.
“I’m here for Hann.” She said, completely ignoring me as she climbed the window to enter my room.
“He’s not here.” I told her, watching her closely. She was no longer the same Cassia I had met. She moved closer to me and I got up from my bed. I didn’t know what she was capable of so I had to prepare myself.
“You will do then.” She said smiling and that worried me. I didn’t know what she was planning but it didn’t seem like it was anything good.
“What do you mean?” I asked her and before I could react, she quickly grabbed my arm and bit into it. I screamed, the pain traveling up my arm and roughly pushed her off of me. What the hell?
“You have exactly one hour before the infection starts spreading. If you want the cure, tell your brother to meet me at the school or you’ll die.” I looked up at her from my wound and scoffed. Was she serious right now? I’ve never heard of a cure for a werewolf bite. Hann wasn’t stupid, he wasn’t going to fall for that.
”There is no cure, and I can’t die. I’m an original vampire.” I told her, holding back the sharp pain I felt. She moved closer to me which caused me to back away.
“And I’m an original werewolf.” She whispered turning to look at the door. An original werewolf? My door was soon opened and in came my father.
“What happened, are you okay?” He asked walking towards me. I turned around not seeing Cassia anywhere. I winced in pain as father grabbed my arm and pulled me closer to him.
“What is this?” He questioned examining my wound, knowing all to well what it was. I pulled my arm away and looked away from him.
“I need Hann.”

Fuck, everything was happening so fast. My past memories coming back to me and that night with Hann. I wasn’t planning on hurting Haruna, but she was definitely my way of getting to Hann. He cared about her and I knew he wasn’t going to let her die.
I sighed walking towards the school. It was empty. Was it summer break already? How long was I sleeping for after the incident with Hann? I sat down on a bench outside the school and took out my phone. I saw a text from Kevin and ignored it. He seriously had the nerve to text me. He betrayed me after I was the one who turned him.
I was the first werewolf. I was created by a witch as my punishment for killing her son. Elijah, who was also my first love. She cursed me due to my anger and because of my curse I became immortal. I did not age or die. As the years went by, I gave birth to many other generations of werewolves and also created others in order to have a pack.
Born werewolves were different from turned werewolves. I was the only one who could turn a human into a werewolf. Born werewolves were pure bloods. They are born humans but once they trigger their curse, they become werewolves. They are no longer human, they’ll look like humans but turn into a wolf when ever they pleased. While turned werewolves were half. They didn’t need to trigger any curse, they became werewolves after I turned them but they only turned on a full moon, they had the same powers but they were weaker. They were the strongest only on a full moon.
Both pure bloods and half bloods are known to be immortals but unlike me they could easily be killed. Pure bloods needed to have their hearts ripped out completely in order to die while half bloods could easily be killed by a stab to the heart. Half bloods were able to give birth to pure bloods, which I never understood how.
Kevin was a half blood, but before he had betrayed me he was able to get a witch to make him a ring that could give him the strength of a pure blood and also turn when ever he wanted too. He thought because of the ring he was strong enough to become alpha, but he wasn’t, at least not with me.
30 minutes.
I texted Haruna, hoping Hann was on his way. Truly did suck if she died. Werewolf bites were lethal to vampires. Expect the Choi family, they were an original like me. They don’t die. Werewolf bites did not kill them. They get sick for like a few hours and then they heal and are back to normal. I remembered a few of my packs telling me about their encounter with the Choi family in the past. They had managed to bite them in order to escape but it did not kill them.
It was my first time biting an original vampire so I didn’t know if my bite killed them or not. My blood however was the cure for a werewolf bite on any vampire from any werewolf. Whether it was a pure blood or a half blood.
You’re lying about the cure.
I sighed and got up, dialing her phone number. She picked up instantly. “How’s your wound?” I questioned, hearing her groaning in pain.
“Getting worse, is there really a cure.” She questioned sounding out of breath. Damn, maybe my bite does kill them.
“Yes there is and by the sound of your breathing. You might have less than 30 minutes.” I told her looking around. Hann sure was taking his sweet time.
“My father is sending Hann to the school as we speak. Tell me what the cure is.” I laughed, picking up a rock and throwing it in the air. Playing with it. Did she really think I was going to tell her?
“We both know I’m smarter than that. Ill tell you later if you’re still alive.” With that said I hung up the phone and moved to sit on the bench again. I continued playing with the rock and smiled, hearing footsteps. My smile dropped when his scent hit my nose.
“Why did you bite her?” Hann question moving closer towards where I was. I quickly got up and let out a deep breath, ignoring his scent.
“Why did you rape me?” I questioned, twirling the rock in my hand. Hann stopped walking and looked around.
“I was drunk. I didn’t know what I was doing.” I scoffed, moving closer towards him. That was his answer? Really? “I’m here to get the cure for my sister.” He told me making me laugh. They really assumed it was that easy. Unbelievable, I was the victim here. Haruna was just collateral damage as some would say.
“You really think it’s that easy?” I questioned him, he wasn’t looking at me. He was avoiding my eyes. Was he too ashamed to look at me? Was he actually feeling guilt right now? I didn’t think he had it in him.
“You’re here because I want you to pay for what you did to me, Hann.” I told him and he quickly looked at me. Our eyes met and I gasped. Feeling a pull towards him. What the hell? I ignored the feeling and focused back on our conversation.
“I was the one who hurt you. Haruna didn’t do anything, so please tell me what the cure is.” I could hear in his voice how much he cared for her. I bit my lip thinking. He was right, Haruna didn’t do anything. She shouldn’t suffer for his crimes.
“My blood is the cure. If you want the cure you’ll have to take it.” I told him opening my arms for him. “So, come take it.” Hann’s eyes turned red before he vamp speeded towards me. ‘Mate.” My wolf who’s been quiet since I had woken up, whispered. What?
