Chapter Thirty Four

Saturday.

I absolutely love the weekends because I had enough time to rest. I would have gone to the club last night but I had no one to go with it. Mandy was busy and Constantine traveled.

I was cleaning my apartment, it was high time I did it anyway. My doorbell rang. Who could that be? It wasn't Constantine, he was to be back next week.

I opened the door and paused, it was Larissa and she was chewing her gum loudly. How did she know where I lived? I had seen Larissa once when she came to the office. I knew she was Constantine's old fling but what I didn't understand was why she was here, standing in front of me.

"How can I help you, Larissa?" I said sweetly

"Won't you invite me in first?" She raised her eyebrows

"Sorry, my bad. Please come inside" I opened the door wider and she entered my apartment looking around.

"A nice place you have here.  Constantine has eyes for good places" she said

Constantine. That was the reason she came here. I pretended like I didn't hear her

"Do you want something to drink?"

"No, I'm fine. I'm wary of some people and places" she said with venom in her voice

I did not want to be rude but this woman was asking for it.

"It's very clear you don't like me. So why are you here?" I asked

"Since you have figured out that already, I'll just go straight to the point. I want you to stay away from my Constantine. He is MINE and will always be. He's just using you to pass time, once he's done with you he'll come back to me like he always does" I laughed, I laughed hard that my stomach began to hurt and she glared at me. If looks good kill I would be six feet in the ground.

"I don't have any reason to fight with you Larissa. Let me make this clear to you Constantine loves me and I love him. Do you know we started dating and we are planning a future together?"

"What!!!!"

"Oops, you didn't know. It was meant to be a secret but now the cat has been let out of the bag" I smirked "So I'll appreciate it if you stop disturbing MY boyfriend and me if not I might have to get a restraining order. You were just his fling and that's what you will ever be. A FLING"

"You claim that Constantine loves you, guess whose name he was moaning last night. MINE" she said with a grin

This girl was desperate. She is trying to get under my skin

"FYI, Constantine is not in the country. So get your facts right before telling lies because I don't believe anything that comes out from your mouth" she remained silent

"You have overstayed your welcome. It's time you leave" I said pointing to the door

She stood up and looked at me with hate in her eyes "This is not the end. You will hear from me. I'll deal with you will never dare cross my path again" she said walking to the door

"Do your worst bitch. Get the fuck out of my house and never come back" I banged the door once she left

"Idiot" I muttered

I went back to what I was doing. There was a knock again, I hoped it was not Larissa else I was going to do something I might regret later.

"Euli, are you inside," the voice from the door said. That was my brother's voice

"Francis, I was not expecting you," I said hugging me

"Why did it take you some time to open the door, when you were inside and who is that woman that stormed out of here?"

"She is a troublemaker. Come inside, what did you get for me?"

"You didn't answer my question from before. Why did it take you some time to open the door"

"I thought it was that woman from before"

"Who is she?"

"Larissa, Constantine's old fling. She said I should leave Constantine alone" he gave me a weird look and I knew what it meant

"Constantine is not cheating on me if that's what you are thinking. I know everything about that girl, she is a past lover who doesn't understand that she was in the past. He is no longer involved with her" I said. He still did not look convinced

"Let's leave this talk about Larissa, she's not important. Why are you carrying a bag? Are you staying over or going somewhere?"

"No-no, I'm not staying over. I'm traveling"

"Okay. How is dad?'

"Dad is fine. He's been talking non-stop about your boyfriend and he said both of you should come over when you both have the chance"

"Awww, have you eaten anything yet"

"No"

"Let me make something for both of us"

"No, no need to bother I won't stay long here. I'll soon be on my way"

"I insist"

"Fine just because I can't deny your offer. Where is the bathroom?"

"Inside my room. My room is by the right"

I went to the kitchen to make something quick for us to eat. I got some eggs and broke them into a bowl whisking them.

Francis was now out of the bathroom and took a seat in the kitchen.

"I'm almost done. Let me serve it on a plate" I put the egg on a plate and kept it in his front. I also kept one for myself taking a seat.

"My mouth is already watering from the aroma" Francis joked

"I know your girlfriend cooks better" I teased him "Speaking of your girlfriend, when are you going to introduce me to her"

"You will meet her when the time is right," he said taking a bite from his toast.

"Why can't it be today. I'm free now, we can just go on a date"

"No rush. You will meet her soon, I don't have any other sister to introduce her to but you" he said with a smile "You are my  best sibling but don't tell Gabe"  I laughed

"I won't"

"Thanks for the food. I'll be going  now"

"Stay a while"

"Next time.  I have to leave now"

"Let me see you off"

"Don't worry, continue what you are doing. I love you"

"I love you too"
