Liz was the cost..! What does grandma means by that..? Did Liz’s mom choose to sacrifice her daughter in place of her father ...? But how.. Liz wasn’t even born then? My mind was exploding with every thing.. Grandma said just right now.. I stood there all shocked .. Still the room was dark and through the little light of the torch of could see how baffled and upset Liz was.. Her eyes were glistening with tears.. She looked completely devastated.. Grandma had that sadness in her eyes while narrating the shameful past...
I hated William , after I got to know what he did with daisy. But there was still a little corner inside my heart which adored and loved him.. Cause since I was child he never miss treated me once.. Although due to his busy schedule he wasn’t there for me but he provided Me all the comfort that I needed.. That’s why even after knowing daisy is my step mom, I was close with her instead of my biological father. Cause he couldn’t give me his time..
After Christian’s revelation I thought William loved my birth mother, and I started regretting my hatred towards him.. But then again he proved me wrong.. He murdered Liz’s brother.. Forced me into getting engaged... And now he has surpassed the definition of a devil.. He held captivated his own mother... And on top of that he never cared about my mother but just to satisfy his ego he went ahead to chase Catherine instead of caring about my dying mother..
Now I despise him the most.. Than ever I had..
But what about Liz.. How was she subjected into this all..?
“ but grandma... How?..”
A sudden sounds of clattering footsteps coming from the outside.. Made me cease my actions..
Holy hell! Is anyone out there..? Is it William..?
We all three were frozen at one place looking at each other. Fully shocked.. What if William has actually found out about this..?
Bloody hell.. I can’t fight him.. Not when I’m so disarmed and he’ll be having his weapons..
“ Leave both of you... Right now... Leave before anyone can see us... I’ll answer everything later.. It’s highly impossible for me to disappear from here. So your secrets are still safe with me..but we won’t be safe for any longer if anyone saw us together.... Leave. Now..!.” grandma said.. Fully scared..
“ But...” Liz tried to interject...
“ no... Alizeh.. We can talk later.. Try to understand.. I know you are curious but for now leave.. Before some one can find us..” grandma said.. Trying to convince Liz..
“ Yes, Liz.. Grams.. Is right.. We need to leave.. Come on..”
I said, taking her hands in mine and was literally dragging her out..
Before we could reach the door.. And step out.. The door splayed open.. The room was still dark.. I could only hear the sounds of footsteps.. Approaching us.. The we heard his voice..
“don’t you think.. You should have been a little more careful.. While trying to play detectives..”
