Chapter 28

Several times Sonya had tried to meet Elano but she had also been deliberately kicked out and not allowed in. Even now, she was standing in front of the door with two security guards standing guard and blocking her.

It made Sonya almost desperate and she didn't know what to say anymore. She had talked a lot today in front of the security guards and everyone who came, but the influence possessed by elano was much greater and no one would believe her claim that her daughter had discovered the formula.

"I'll never manage to get a way in if it continues like this. What can I do? I have to do something else to gain access."

Sonya moved slightly away from the main door and did that on purpose to think. She had been here for a few days and had gotten absolutely no permission to enter from the assistants and even the receptionist of Elano's company. If this continued her daughter could soon be prosecuted because there was no action to provide evidence of Katherine's innocence.

However, Sonya didn't want to let that happen because Katherine was safe and went home with her. She racked her mind and brain quickly to find a way, until finally finding one of the office boys who was working in the side yard. Like a godsend, Sonya walked up to the man and negotiated.

Although it wasn't easy at first, he eventually agreed and was willing to follow all of Sonya's requests. After giving him her clothes and Sonya using them in one of the public bathrooms outside the company area, they finally split up and Sonya was directed by the office boy towards Elano's office.

"It just so happens that I also have to tidy up the CEO's room, I hope you won't make any mistakes, ma'am? I still really need this job."

Sonya nodded. "Don't worry, I won't make trouble in the company and make you lose your job too."

Her words made the man quickly under her enter into the CEO's replay. They did some work first because the CEO was currently in the meeting room. It would probably be over soon so Sonya carefully continued to do what she could.

In front of her was the man's big chair. Elano was able to live a very relaxed life and not lack anything while his daughter had to go to prison. Sonya felt sick but for the sake of her daughter she would humble herself and get the man to release her.

The office boy left shortly afterwards while Sonya was still here and wouldn't leave. She had to do something and only by waiting for Elano's arrival could she do it.

"Sir, I see the woman in front of there has started to leave and doesn't seem to be there anymore. That means it's safe, she won't interfere."

Sonya took her cell phone and quietly made a recording to find something or a word or two that could be used as evidence, right now what was needed was evidence and that was something she most seriously wanted.

"Really not there? That woman has disappeared from there?"

"I didn't find her and the security guard said she left about two hours ago. It looks like she got tired so she left because no one cares about her here. After that, we will definitely be safe and no one will bother us. Lest you notice, I'm a little grateful that she left so there won't be any signs that you'll notice her coming."

Sonya could see from where she stood next to the large shelf. It was Elano's assistant and a man she didn't recognize. They seemed to be in cahoots so at the moment she defensively remained there to wait for what would be said next.

"Thankfully, the city doesn't have such a wide broadcast so the news there won't be brought out unless it's very important and related to a disaster or the temperature getting hotter. So, regarding the patent not being formalized yet, no one will know about it and Tuan will not find out about it either because there is no official news. That's enough to make me feel at ease because I won't be doing a lot of drama just to make the news pretend to rise and circulate. Master is still too young to be lied to and driven by the company name, we will be easy to organize so that we can still benefit by being here and watching over him." Elano's assistant said while organizing some files.

"You're right, we should be able to find the easiest way to make him fall from this position as well. Sir, don't forget to keep the progress that Sir has done so much for this company. As a leader he is also not at all so much reason and important treatment for the company. Mostly Mr. Elano would rather order us to do it so he's already missed a few things without him knowing. He could rise because of the death of the great lord, otherwise it's possible to remain the scum of society and not be useful at all."

Elano's assistant smiled, then they went out again and that interrupted their conversation. Sonya kept the video and tried to remain calm even though she realized there was betrayal within this company. The guilty party was not Elano to his daughter but Elano's assistant. There was a shrimp behind the stone and every company or place where something was profitable would indeed have an enemy behind the invisible blanket.

"I have to stay here and wait for Elano to come, if he comes later I will ask him what he wants to bring all this out and even trust his assistant so much."

Shortly after Sonya's words came out, the man she was waiting for actually came and it made her record again from her place that was not so visible if the man was sitting there.

"You look unwell and disheveled all the time, what has happened and what have you been thinking about to be a little unfocused like this?"

Elano rubbed his face, then sighed softly. "I feel like I've lost my spirit these past few days and I'm not feeling well either. I don't know what's going on, but these past two nights I've been dreaming about seeing Katherine. Isn't she living a good life? Why would she come to me again in a dream like someone asking for help?"

Sonya heard all of that, but then her slightly resentful face took on the form of hearing her words.

"That means you really do have feelings for Miss Katherine, huh? It turns out that it's true, Master wouldn't have thought of it if it weren't for the fact that there were no feelings at all."

Elano looked like he was rubbing his face, like someone who had experienced great distress and worry. He could not deny that his feelings were indeed slightly linked to the girl. Katherine was a kind girl who was willing to help him regardless of whether he was handsome or not, rich or not.

He admitted that he felt a sense of longing for not seeing her in the past few days, even though he basically knew that he could not say this.

"I'm sure she must be fine just maybe I'll be there in the next few days after the renovations are done. The assistant took me straight home as soon as she told me that things were a little worse at the company. It's so annoying, I couldn't even wait for her to get home from work to say goodbye."

Sonya turned off the recording and left the place. The sound of her footsteps made Elano, who was holding his head, turn around and find a cleaning service.

"Elano..."

The man was about to ignore him but hearing his name mentioned, Elano immediately looked at the figure wearing clothes like his company's cleaning service. The figure was familiar enough to make him immediately get up and was surprised to find that it was Sonya.

"Mrs. Sonya, why are you here? Why are you wearing those clothes?"

Elano's surprise coincided with Sonya who was already crying in her place. "After your departure, my daughter was framed and she is now in prison. You didn't realize that someone was already at play, getting above your control and having Katherine slandered as a traitor..."

Elano was silent as Sonya explained many things about what had happened in the city she had just left. Hearing the news of Katherine going to jail, seeing the video where her assistant had just talked about the betrayal behind her.

Elano couldn't believe it but then he realized that he couldn't have known this day either if it wasn't for Sonya. His face hardened at the news, looking so emotional that he finally used his greater power to call his assistant into the room.

While bound, the assistant was resignedly taken to the city where Katherine lived and made a suspect. Elano and Sonya revealed everything that the assistant had done so that Elano could easily drop Katherine's charges and imprison the assistant and the person who helped the assistant.

"I like not knowing and not expecting that he played behind my back without my permission. He is really insolent, I have always given him unlimited access but apparently he abused what you have given him. At first I didn't know that he had sabotaged everything, at first I had also hacked what you had researched and would make it the basic material of the building. But I didn't expect that he would make a move first and make me end up getting more and he blocked everything inside your computer.

"He made the transmission directly without deleting the history and that's why many people who checked the document would have immediately found traces of the transmission in emails that weren't related to your colleagues. I didn't know that he had that kind of ability and I didn't know he had the intention to oust me from the company. I really didn't expect that I would have an enemy within my own company."

Katherine who was in the hospital to be examined and treated for her body drop from spending the last few days in prison. She was silent, with no intention of replying to Elano's words because her disappointment was still big enough to be expressed.

"I know I was wrong... She was relieved, because everything worked and had a good impact. Meanwhile, Elano promised in his heart not to let go of this girl again. Because after all, he will teach her to get a place to put the feelings that were held back all this time.

Until whenever, he would still wait for Katherine to accept his feelings.
