Chapter 100 - Have sweet dreams, Emma

EMMA

My vision is obscured by the blanket and the sound of my brother’s voice makes my blood freeze. It sends a bucket of ice water over me and effectively washes away my arousal.

The sound of laughter booms from downstairs as multiple people enter the house. *Four, five, six people?* It somehow makes it over my heartbeat ringing in my ears. *Crap.*

The voice becomes muffled when the door falls in its lock. After a moment the blanket is pulled away. The light is bright as it exposes secrets from the dark. It reveals our practically naked bodies. My satin robe hangs open and down my arms. I quickly fasten the belt.

*How could I have been so stupid? How could I’ve fallen asleep in Hadrian’s room?*

Hadrian gets up from the bed and pulls his boxer over his hard erection. I catch a glimpse of his heavy girth and the prominent veins. I can't help myself and watch how he covers himself and zips his jeans up. The situation did little to his ability to perform. The throb between my legs makes itself known again and I squeeze my thighs.

I watch how he works the muscles of his arms with the little movements. A smirk tugs at his lip and he lifts his gaze with lustful eyes. He gives me a wink and my cheeks go bright red. I feel it in the core of my being. For a second my mind is blank and I don’t know what I’m supposed to be doing.

“We need to get you out of here.” Hadrian whispers and I blink. *Right.*

I look around the sparsely decorated room as more voices gather downstairs. It seems like the party is moving here. “How?” I cannot go the way I came.

Hadrian casts a similar gaze around the room for ideas and his eyes settle on the window. “Remember how we climbed the roof at the palace?”

*I remember vividly.* The night was dark and cold when Hadrian wanted to meet Nero. I especially remember the deep seemingly endless abyss below my feet. “I like not to think about that.”

Hadrian takes my hands and pulls me towards the window. “Your room is next to mine, it’s not that far.”

I narrow my eyes at him as he unlocks the bolt holding the window closed. “How do you know where my room is?”

A smirk tugs on one side of his face. “I can hear you in the morning.” He pulls me closer and I stumble and fall against his bare chest. He moves my hair over one shoulder and behind my ear. “And sometimes at night when you wake up all breathy.”

His action exposes my neck. His fingers run over the line of my throat and down my shoulder. It leaves sensitive tingles on the place where my mark used to be. “I‘ll lie here and wonder what your dreams are about.” His hand moves lower, down the side of my breasts. I can feel his hard body pressing against me.

I’m putty in his hands. He has all the power over me and a part wants to defy him a little. “Do you jerk off to that?” I’m surprised by my own words. I think the months with Cecile have exposed me to talk that I always considered crude. Alex has made me *almost* impassive to it.

Hadrian raises his eyebrows at me. He doesn’t expect this either, but his surprise doesn’t hold him back for long. “Yes, I do, sweetheart.”

My back hits the window when Hadrian leans into me. His hand moves further down to between my legs, where he has easy access to my dripping core. He hikes one of my legs up for even more access.

“I’ll imagine that it’s your pussy instead of my hand...” He runs his fingers around the bundle of nerves and the bolts of pleasure make my knees weak. A quiet moan escapes my lips when he slips two fingers inside and rubs my inner wall. “And those moans are because of my dick getting you in the right spot.”

Hadrian doesn’t have small fingers and the attack on my vagina brings me to abandoned heights at rapid speed. He hits me in the right spot and I quickly start squirming.

A loud knock hammers on the door and I have to bite back my gasp. “Jack, stop jerking off and come down for a drink,” Dex calls.

I move away from Hadrian like his touch burns me.

Hadrian’s features turn into a scowl. “Fuck off.” He shouts and Dex leaves with a laugh fading down the hall.

“That’s not nice.” I whisper-yell at him when I don’t hear any footsteps anymore.

Hadrian pulls me back by my hips and his straining erection presses onto my stomach. “I’m not feeling very nice right now.” He whispers back with a low growl.

I want to argue that I have to get back before anyone finds out that I’m here, but Hadrian beats me to it. “We have to get you back.” The words come out like they physically hurt him and I feel the same.

We both know that I’m not supposed to be here. This is not like sneaking out of the house to see your boyfriend that your parents cannot know about. Getting caught now would raise questions and only one has to connect the dots. This could be deadly.

Hadrian opens the window and it blows in a cold breeze. The night is dark and no stars paint the skies tonight. He peers his head outside for a moment and then climbs out. He turns and holds the gutter with one hand. “You should hold on to me. There is no ledge where you can walk on.”

I swallow as I put my trust in Hadrian. I climb out of the window and wrap my arms around his neck and my legs around his waist. They form a death grip around him and he couldn’t have me let go if he tried.

Hadrian walks his feet along the wall and holds both our weights with his arms. I look up at the gutter holding us and I’m anxious that it might give way at any time.

I watch my window come near and it is only a couple of feet. “You have really thought this through.”

Hadrian moves his gaze from the gutter to me. His amber eyes look more golden in the darkness. His warm breath blows over my face. “I’ve been tempted a few times.”

I think about how Hadrian heard me when I had my dreams about us. They are pretty frequent. I always wake up hot and bothered and sometimes I catch myself moaning.

“Is it me you dream about?” Hadrian whispers. There is a hint of vulnerability in his voice and I’m frequently baffled that he questions this.

“I have no other sources to draw from.”

Hadrian exhales as he grabs onto my open bedroom window. “Good.”

I usually sleep with the window partly open and I’m glad I didn’t decide to close it. He sets me down on the edge and I climb inside. The room is dark and empty and I sigh a breath of relief.

I turn to Hadrian when my feet hit the floor. He watches me with that dark intensity. “Have sweet dreams, Emma.”

My face flushes a darker shade of crimson. “Goodnight.” I lean forward and give him a slow and lingering kiss. He uses one hand to hold the back of my neck to prolong the kiss a little longer.
