Deborah came back with the pudding and handed it over to Nathan while Isabella was still seated in the bed.
The anger in her face was clearly visible.

I knew there was something behind those evil smile. But i couldn't place my hands on what exactly it was.

"I hope you get better soon" Isabella said and stood up to leave.

"Are you leaving now? I thought you wanted to spend some time with me?"

"I got something to take care of. But i will come as soon as I'm done with it" she said more like a grunt.

"Okay, hope to see you soon" i smiled and waved at her.

As soon as she left, Deborah walked it and sat sat beside me.

I really wanna ask her about what happened earlier but Nathan was still here sao i couldn't. I have to wait for him to leave before asking her.

Just like the moon Goddess heard mu prayer. Nathan stood up and left after feeding me the pudding.

"Deborah, don't forget to keep her company and don't leave her side till i return" he told Deborah more like a warning.

He has been acting strange since we came here. He's been all protective of me. He would kiss my forehead on every little chance he gets.

"Yes Alpha king. I will do just like you instructed" she answered and bowed slightly.

"Why don't you want me to eat the food Isabella brought?" I asked as soon as Nathan was out of sight and hearing.

"The food was poisoned" she answered.

Not like i wasn't expecting that but it came too sudden and Nathan was supposed to feed me that mean Isabella wanted me to die in his hands.

"How did you know about it?"

"I saw her handing the potion to to Grace. Well she was supposed to come earlier but i pretended bumped into her by mistake and the food was spilled".

"Does that mean she prepared another food?"

"Absolutely"

This is more serious than i thought.

"Why are you helping me?"

"Because i want to. I can't let them kill you like they did to Ciara".

"Who are you talking about?"

"She was Nathan's mate".

"Why was she killed?"

"Isabella has loved Nathan for a very long time till Ciara came to book and Nathan started avoiding Isabella who noticed this and decided to take Ciara's life for taking Nathan away from her".

This is one hell of a story. Why would a girl like Isabella kill someone?.

"After the incident, Nathan left home and swore never to return. But then he came home with you and since then he's been acting strange".

"How do you mean?"

"Didn't you notice it?'

"Notice what?"

"Nathan has fallen in love with you within this short period of time".

"In love with me? But how is that possible? He's not even my mate and it hasn't been long we met".

"Love doesn't care how long you've met someone. The heart can't be controlled so you don't have to blame him for falling in live with. I mean who wouldn't fall in love with you".

"Now you're getting me confused. There's nothing special about me. Beside I'm cursed".

"No you're not". Patt my hair. "You're blessed vy the Moon Goddess. And you shall soar higher than the rest".

"Now you speak like a priestess"

"Who knows, i might be one" she answered.

The words from her mouth is so strange. She always knows what to say. No wonder she wasn't scared of Isabella in the first place.


Moon light streamed through the dark green spines of the tall evergreen trees, creating pattered shadow on the forest floor.

Isabella stood at the front of the little hut positioned at the front of the river bank.

The howling wind had been making it difficult to hear anything going on in the woods.

"What brings you to my place at this ungodly hour? A figure of a lady spoke behind her.

Isabella don't need to turn cause she knows who it was.

"I've come to ask for a little favor from you" She answered without turning.

"This is so ridiculous. What would the almighty Isabella want me to do for her?" She mocked.


Isabella finally turned, taking a slow predatory steps she walked round the figure.

"I need a potion that would make anyone and everyone do as i say"

"And what made you think i would help you with that?"

"Even if you don't want to, you are going to fo it for me" she said coldly.

"Well I'm sorry to disappoint you cause i won't"

"Then be prepared to die cause i will wipe away all your families and coven members" Isabella threatened.

"Why are you doing this?"

"Because i am Isabella the only daughter of Montero. The greatest wizard of all time" she gave out dry laugh.

"If you're really the Daughter of Montero, why don't you prepare the potion yourself?"

"Are you gonna do or should i start by killing your mother?"

"I will do it but this will be the last time i'll ever help you" she said and walked into the hut.

"You are my servant and you must do whatever i ask of you" Isabella said.

The figured heard what she said but pretended not to.



"Where you able to find out anything?" Nathan asked Mark his beta.

"No Alpha king, but i was able to find this in the waste bin" he handed a little bottle to Nathan who examined it and nod his head.

"Do you know what this is?

""No Alpha king".

"You may go but i want you to keep your eyes all over the castle". Nathan warned before walking away

Diane was done with the potion as she handed it over to Isabella without saying a word.

Isabella collected it with an evil smirk on her face.

"That was so fast how sure am i that this is not fake"

"That is left for you to decide. You can leave now" Diane snorted.

"If i were you, i'd think twice before talking to me like that" Isabella warned.

"Not like you can do anything to me anyway. Please leave before i change my mind" Diane snorted back.

"Well i won't argue further. Thanks for the potion but one person has to die".

"What do you mean"

"I wanna teach you not to talk to me without respect next time. You give me someone to kill or i'll assume you want me to kill your mother" Isabella said pulling out her sword.

"You don't wanna do this Isabella".

"It is Luna to you not Isabella. Now give me someone to kill"

"This isn't over yet".

Isabella dragged one of her servant out of the hut and cut off her head from her body.

She laughed wickedly. "This is just what i wanted.

She climbed her horse and rode out.

Vanessa's mom laid of the bed weakly.

She called out to Alex her voice was barely audible for a mere human to hear.

"Mom, you called for me"

"Have you heard from Vanessa? She asked for the hundredth time.

"No but she's gonna come soon. I believe she's been busy that's why she hasn't called since she left" he tried making her see reasons with him but she wouldn't hear of it.
