He came back to my collar placing kisses on every side of my neck.

"Should i?" he asked again.

"You have to beg for it" he teased.
What is he trying to do.

"Please, please please just do it" i pleaded.

Just as he was about to finally thrust in a knock came on the door.

"Who is there, are you alright? The Luna asked from the outside.

I can't let her meet us like this, it's gonna be so embarrassing.

I quickly wore my clothes and ran to the bathroom.
I can't believe we almost had sex. Oh my, Nathan is really a bad guy.

"What was going on in here?" i heard her ask.

"Nothing mother" he answered.

"But this place smells like arousal. Oh my did i distract anything? Were you in here with a lady?" she asked with surprise like she never expected Nathan to be with a woman.

"Mom i already told you, there's no one in here. Can you please leave?"

"Are you asking me to leave?" she asked. I could hear the sadness in her voice.

Nathan has been cold towards everyone in this mansion and i don't know why.

The bathroom door was pushed open disrupting my thought as Nathan walked in. I guess his mom already left.

"Were you scared of being caught by my mother?" he asked with a bit of sarcasm in his voice like he was actually mocking me.

"N..no why should i be scared" i tried to say but my voice failed me.

"Should we continue from where we stopped?" In a lightening speed he pinned my hands on the wall.

"Do...n't.. do... this...to...to.. me" i stuttered.

"But those eyes of your says otherwise. I know you want me in as much as i do" he paused then continue. "Why are you pretending? Why are you acting like you can't feel or see anything?" His voice was already breaking down.

"What are you talking about?"

"I love you Vanessa, yes i do. I've done practically everything just for you to notice it but you don't. Why are you doing this to me?"

His grip on my hands became tighter. My hands were already turning red from the pain.

"Nathan you're hurting me" i said to him but it looks like he's far from hearing.

"Why can't you see that i love you? What should i do to make you know that i love you?"

"You're hurting me Nathan. Let me go" i cried but he still wouldn't listen.

"Answer my damn question. I need an answer Nessa. Just say something". his eyes were becoming red.

I don't know what I'm feeling right now. I ran away from home to look for MY REJECTED MATE and now I've been trapped in the arms of another man.
I really can't accept his proposal. Even if i could then it's not in this situation.

"Don't you have a mate?" I really don't know when it left my lips.

"That's not what i want to hear. Why can't you be mine Nessa? Why?"

"Don't you have a mate?" I asked again.

"I lost her, she was killed" he broke down.
At that instance i knew he still love her.

"You still love her Nathan"

"She's already gone" was his only reply.

"Yes i know she's gone but you still love her. Don't you think you need some time?"

"I have no fucking time to waste. I just wanna hear your answer" he growled.

Now this Nathan is making me scared. He looks really horrible right now.

"I need to go"

"Where are you going to?"

"I came out here to look for my mate whom i foolishly rejected and now i have to look for him. I'm sorry if i didn't say what you were expecting".

I quickly ran out of the room.

I found my way to the garden. I just can't say what really happened back there.

"Why should he love me? Why can't he kill his feelings for me? I'm here to look for my mate" i asked myself those endless questions which i can't really answer.

Everything seems to be happening so fast.

"If you know you had someone you loved then why are you here trying to steal my man?" I don't need to raise my head up to know who it was.

"Are you dumb that you can't hear me? She asked again.

"Get lost or i'll be forced to drag your hair off your scalp" i warned.

"Well there's nothing you can do. I only came here to thank you for knowing your place in this mansion cause Nathan can never be yours" she mocked.

"Well i left him and not the other way round. If i decide to stay you of all people should know that he can be mine if i wanted".
I got up and faced her.

For a moment i saw her face drop down in anger.

"I can make him mine if i want and if i was you, i'd watch the way i talk to me".

"There's nothing you can do, i can also have him if i wanted to".

"Then i'd love to see you try".

"You don't dare get on my nerves or i'll be forced to do something silly".

I watched her stomp her feet on the ground and left angrily.

When you try to run away from a problem another comes.

This was never the kind of life i chose for myself. I never thought i would be in this situation one day. Why is everything running so fast? Why can't i be happy like the rest? Why can't the moon Goddess just bring my mate back to me?"

"What's wrong?" Deborah asked from behind.

"I'm tired. I just wanna live a normal life. Why is everything bad happening to me? Why can't i just be happy?"

"Don't say such. This always happen to determine how strong you are. Many people has their own challenges but it's left for them to fight and be victorious or to do nothing and become a loser" she pat my shoulder before walking to my front.

"You are a warrior Nessa and i never expected you to sit and lament your problems. I expected you to stand and fight to be who you've always wanted to be" she sat down close to me.

"You know the first time i saw you, i Instantly knew you area warrior who never gives up. And i want you to work towards your goal but as for your rejected mate.... He's more closer than you think" Her last statement made me look up.

"Why did you just say?"

"You've met him before but you just doesn't know. He's gonna come back for you. But you need to be a warrior in order to see that day"

"Thanks"

"You don't have to thank me, what are friends for?" she gave a wide smile before walking inside.

Her advice really lifted my spirit and i found my strength returning back to me.

I headed inside for breakfast.

"Maybe the moon Goddess wanna see how strong we are before bringing our mate back to us" Xina spoke.

"Why don't we go for a run today?" i asked her.

"Yay, that would be nice"
I ran upstairs to my room to get my clothes ready.
While coming out, i met Nathan. I tried calling out to him but he walked past me without looking back.

Has it gotten to that? Why is he mad just because i refused his proposal? And even if i agreed to date him i definitely knows he won't love me like his mate neither will he treat me like he would have treated her.

I scurried to the dinning but what i saw next made me imagined if he really love me like he said some minutes ago.

He changed the position of his seat to where Isabella was.

I could see the smile of satisfaction on her face while Nathan was busy munching his food like nothing ever happened.

I went and sat down close to the Luna. I really can't let them know i was affected by their childish character.

"Is anything wrong?" Luna asked beside me.

"There's nothing wrong" i gave her a sly smile before facing me food.
