Vanessa's POV

No doubt, she's Deborah's younger sister. Now i have a surprise for her.

"I don't know if they're recognize each other cause it's been long there were separated" Xina said in my head.

"Don't you think it's time for to go back to my people?"

She looked at me with her eyes piercing into mine.

"Bu..t you can come with me if you wish beside this place is too open and dangerous for you alone to stay"

"Well i've been staying here for a very long time" she snorted.

"I want us to have dinner. That's my way of saying thank you for saving my life" i gave out a nervous smile.

"If that's what you want then i can't say no" she smiled back.

That's the first time I've seen her smiling.


After the preparation and arrangement. we are set to go.
She handed me a cone of ice cream from the fridge.

I really don't know how to ask her where she got it from.

As soon as i finish my ice cream, we leave her house to Nathan's castle.

"Aren't you a witch?"

"Yeah, why do you ask?"

"Witches usually teleport right?

"Now i get were you're going" she said with sarcasm.

"Why don't we teleport to the castle instead of walking. I'm really tired" i complained.

"Your wish is my command".

I really don't know how she did it but i'm literally floating in the air.
After what seems life forever, i stopped floating.

"Where are we now?"

"Front of the castle" was the only thing she said before walking inside.


Writer's POV

"My love, please eat something" Isabella urged Nathan.

"I just told you that i don't wanna eat. I'm not hungry" he growled lowly.

"Are you doing all this things because of that bitch" she growled back.

"That's non of your business, leave my room".

"You've been sick since that witch went missing. How am i even sure she hasn't gone back to her lover and here you are starving yourself for someone who don't even care about you" she snapped.

"I never asked for your food".

"I've always been here since you fell sick but i can see that you don't acknowledge it. You're not even thankful".

"Why should i be thankful. I never asked you to stay by my side, please leave" he snapped angrily.

"My boy" Luna stepped into Nathan as tears threatened to fall from her eyes. Just looking at Nathan in that condition is enough to make her cry.

Nathan has become very sick and thin since Vanessa went missing.

"Why aren't you eating anything? Do you wanna die" she paused and continue. "What is wrong with you? Do you wanna kill yourself?" she shouted at Nathan.

"Nathan, what's wrong with you?" Someone said from behind.

Neither thr Luna nor Nathan needs a soothsayer to tell them who it was.

"Nessa" Nathan whispered.

"Nathan, what's wrong with you?" She asked as the tears fell freely from her eyes.

"Nessa, you're back" he tried getting up but Vanessa stopped him before he could.

"Where have you been? I've been looking for you"

Now he's acting like a baby that needs to be pampered.

"I was kidnapped but now I'm free. I'm gonna prepare something for you to eat then we're gonna take a walk around the castle. Do you agree?"

"Yes i do".

The Luna stood there already shocked from what just happened.

Just now Nathan had rejected his food and now Vanessa is back and he wants to eat.

"This is really a Miracle" she whispered to herself.

"Nathan has never been like this towards anyone since Ciara died. But since Vanessa came back with him, he's changed totally. He's really into her". she said to herself before walking out.


Vanessa's POV

I really can't believe Nathan has been sick since i was kidnapped and has also refuse taking anything.

After making his food, i took it upstairs to his room.
I got there with no one but him in the room.

"What's wrong with you Nathan? Do you wanna kill yourself?"

"I thought you were not gonna come back. I thought they finally took you away from me. Nessa please don't leave me ever again"

"I promise not to leave ever again"

After feeding him, i took the dirty dishes back to the kitchen.

I really need to see Deborah. I wanna show her the surprise before she does.

I trotted down to her room and there she was doing what she knows how to do best, Knitting.

"Deborah" i called.

"Oh my... Nessa, you're back. What happened? Why did you leave like that without telling anyone?"

"No i didn't leave. I was kidnapped"

"Not again" she checked my body for any injury but there was none.

"I have a surprise for you"

"I love surprises, So what's that?"

"Come with me" i gripped her arms and dragged her long with me.

Finally we got to where Daniella was sitting.

I turned to Deborah who was looking at Daniella with kin interest.

"Do you know her? i asked pointing at Daniella.

"Danielle?" She whispered.

Daniella looked up in shock. Her eyes won't leave Deborah's direction.

They were both looking at each other like there were in a staring competition. None of them wanna take their eyes away from each other.


Before i could ask my next question they were already in each others arm in tears.

"I thought you were dead" Deborah said still not disengaging from the hug.

"I aslo thought the same. I've missed you mom" Daniella cried out.

Deborah suddenly disengaged from the hug.

"Where is Gabriella?"

"She's at the river side".

"Can you take me there?"

"Sure, let's go"

They were about running out when i called them back.

"Why don't you wait so we can all go together?"

"Do you wanna come with us?" It was Deborah who asked.

"Not just me but Nathan will be coming along. Wait let me go get him".

"Sure but please be fast, i can't wait to see my sister" she added.

I went to Nathan's room only to meet him changing his clothes.
Luckily he wasn't naked like the other day.

"You should always knock before walking into someone's room" he warned.

"I've heard you, well i only came here to tell you that Deborah and i are going out. Would you like to join us?"

"Where are you guys going to? You just appeared today and now you wanna go out again?"

"Are you scared of loosing me?" i teased him.

"Well not like I'm scared. Just that i don't want anything to happen to you".

"Who told you something was gonna happen to me before? You need to stop thinking too much".

"I wasn't thinking too much"

"So are you coming with us or not?"

"Don't you think you're supposed to stay here and take care of me?"

"As your nanny? Oh come on Nathan you ain't a kid anymore"

"I never said i was a kid besides what's wrong in you taking care of a sick man?"

"You're no longer sick. Be fast they are waiting for me"

"And who are they? I thought you said you're going out with Deborah?"

"Yes but they was someone else who would be going with us".

"Do i know that person?"

"If you don't come downstairs, how would you know the person? Be fast i need to go with them".

"What if i decided to change my mind and not come with you guys".

"Then we would leave without you"

"Do you think i would let that happen?"

"Well there's nothing you can do if i decide to leave" i snorted.

After he was done, we headed downstairs early enough to see Deborah pacing nervously around the room while Daniella was seated on the couch, fondling her fingers.

"Hey guys, let's go" i called out to them.

After what seems like forever, we finally got to the river bank where her sister was said to be leaving.

Deborah stopped abruptly and turned towards my direction.

"What is it?" i asked cluelessly.

She came to me and grip my arm.

"Come with me" she whispered quietly.

I didn't argue as i followed her quietly.

She stopped when we were already far from Nathan's hearing.

"What is it?" I asked again.

"I'm scared" she said fearfully.

"Why?"

"What if the Alpha finds out that we're witches. He's gonna kill us" she said sadly.

Well i never thought of that but i don't think Nathan would kill them for any reason.

"Why don't we tell him?" i suggested.

"He's gonna kill us all". she lamented.

"No don't say that. Nathan won't hurt you. I promise"

"Are you sure?"

"Sure, beside Daniella was the one who saved my life" i assured.

"If you say so, then lets head back".

We walked back through the road we came from.

We were late as Daniella was standing with Gabriella and Nathan.

"We're busted" Was the only thing Deborah said before hastening her steps towards them.
