"I don't think i have an explanation for that. Not like you're my dad or mate" I answered rudely.

"Why are you talking to me like that? Did i do anything wrong by asking where you went to?"

"You don't command me any how you wish. And beside you're supposed to be by your newly found lover and not by the gate side waiting for someone you don't even know" i answered and walked away.

I don't really understand what's wrong with me.
Some hours ago, i was restless and wanted to come back from my parents and now I'm mad for no reason.

I rushed into my room and banged the door behind me.

Not up to a minute a knock came on the door.

"I wanna be left alone please" I said to whoever was at the door step.

"Nessa, came i have a word with you?" Deborah said.

"I wanna be left alone please" i repeated.

And some her footstep faded away.

I hugged unto the pillow as the tears flowed freely from my eyes.

I don't know why I'm crying.Probably because of my foolish past or the fact that my mom has been sick all these while and i never knew.

I wiped the tears away, but there kept flowing freely.

I cried to my satisfaction that i didn't even know when i slept off.

I was woken by the blaring of my phone.
I woke up to check who it was, but was angry to find out that it was the alarm.

"You were supposed to ring yesterday and not today.

i flung it back to the bed to continue my sleep but as if the everything was against me.

Another knock came on the door.

"Who is that, please leave".

"It's me" i heard the Luna's voice.

"Oh, I'm so sorry" i got down from the bed to unlock the door.

"How are you doing dear?" She asked as soon as she walked in.

"I'm fine"

"No you aren't. Deborah told me what happened".

"Deborah? But nothing happened" i defended.

"Nathan does a lot of bad things whenever he's pissed and what happened today is an example. What he did to Isabella wasn never his choice. It's either she pushed him to it"

"I don't wanna be disrespectful but why are you telling me this?"

"I saw how you talked to Nathan this evening. I know you really felt bad about what happened today. Since you left with Deborah, Nathan had been worried sick, he thought you left because of what happened today. He wanted to go and look for you and that was when you guys walked in".

She stopped and looked at me like she wanted to know if I'm listening, which i am. She continued. "He even had to recruit more body guards just to ensure your safety".

I kept staring at her as i couldn't think of anything to say.

"I hope you're gonna rethink about this and know that Nathan isn't as bad as you think of him to be" She said before walking out.


I stayed indoor for some minutes, thinking of what the Luna told me.

I finally decided to go out since there's nothing for me to do beside my sleep already left my eyes to meet someone who's ready to sleep.

I trotted down the stairs to Deborah's room.
As i got closer to her room, i felt like i was being followed.

I turned my head to the other direction and my eyes met a man or should i say a bodyguard cause he was dressing like the rest.

But he doesn't look like a bodyguard to me. Beside he looks evil and he also looks like a spy.

"Stop thinking of everyone as evil" My subconscious mind popped at me.

"I know what I'm say, he does look like one of those spies in movies.

When i saw that i was staring too much or should i say he was staring too much. I hastened my step to Deborah's room.

As soon i got to her doorstep, i quickly got in without knocking.

Luckily she was laying on the bed with a novel in her hand.

"Hey Deborah" i greeted.

"Nessa, you're here, please have a sit" she ushered me to her one sitter cushion that was placed in the middle of the room.

Her room was decorated beautifully that you wouldn't know she's a maid in this place.

Shw went to another room and some minutes later she cane back with a tray.

She set the table in front of me and dropped the tray.

"What are you doing?" I asked playfully. I only came here to apologize and now she wanna kill me with food.

"You're a visitor" Was the only thing she said.

"How am i your visitor?"

"This is the first time you've actually visited me in my room" She answered. going back to sit on the bed.


"That doesn't mean I'm a visitor. You've been in this mansion together" i explained.

"That none of my business, i just want you to eat and not some explanation".

"Okay, i will eat bit that's not why I'm here".

"Is there any problem?"

"I came to apologies for what happened earlier, i was really mad and didn't consider your feeling before asking you to go. I'm really sorry for that" I apologized.

"Hey, that's in the past now. You don't have to apologize for anything besides I'm a woman so i understand your feelings. The only person you need to apologize to is Nathan. You shouldn't have spoken to him rudely".

"What are you saying?"

"He was only trying to show you how much he cares about you. Nathan has never asked anyone of where they went to. But he did that because he loves you".

"Really.....? That isn't love. He wouldn't have slept with Isabella if he really loves me. Besides that's none of my business".

"Nathan does some kind of weird things whenever he's mad"

What shw said actually made me remember something.

When we were still staying in the cave inside the woods.

Nathan was mad when i left the cave.
When i came back, everything has been destroyed. Including the plates and those little room doors that ain't strong.

"Why would he get mad over little things?"

"He doesn't get angry over little things, but he actually gets angry when it involves someone he loves" she explained.

"Is that his way of saying i love you? Cause that's really bad. What if he gets angry one day and ends up killing someone? What will he say?".

"I won't think of that cause he's never killed someone beside he knows how to control himself. Today what you did was enough to get him pissed. But he controlled himself".

"Well i think I've had enough of Nathan today. Can i just eat this food in peace" i said before delving my spoon into the food.
