Vanessa's POV

"So do you minding telling of your childhood? I asked her.

"Well my childhood wasn't a good one and I'm not sure you would wanna hear of it" she replied with her head down.

"Is it that bad that you don't wanna talk about it?"

"Well bad things always happen in people's life and mine wasn't an exception".

"Should we go to the bailey? I asked again.

"No, you're not fully healed and walking around would make it worst".

"Are you cry?" I asked as her eyes were already red and she was sniffing.

"I'm sorry if i made you remember your sad past".

"No it's not your fault, I've always remembered my past and there are all sad ones" she gave a little smile and continued. "My mom was murdered by my father" she sniffed again.

"But why would he do that?"

"My dad" she sniffed and continued. "Is a witch hunter... When he found out my mom......"

"Was a witch? I interrupted.

She nodded and continued. "He threatened to tell the pack. She pleaded and pleaded but wouldn't listen and just like he said, he reported to the Alpha".

"He must be a very wicked man".

"Unknown to my mom and all of he has a woman outside and that was why he wanted to get rid of my mother" tears welled at the corner of her eyes as she was trying not to make it fall.

"Then what happened to her?"

"Who?"

"I mean your mom. Why did she do after that?"

"There was nothing she could do. The Alpha sent for her" she wiped off her tears.

"She was brutally dragged to the Alpha's chamber like a dog. After the Alpha interrogated her, she was tied on a tree and was stoned to death".

"That's must be very hard to bare".

"Afterwards she was burnt. But what my dad nor the pack never knew was that the new bride he brought in was also a witch".

"That means your dad was possessed by her to do her biddings" I added.

"Exactly. After that, i was sold to an evil Alpha as a slave".

"Who sold you?"

"My dad as he was instructed by his new bride. The Alpha i was sold to treated me badly".

"What did he do to you?"

"He laid me any day and any time he wants. He also brought his Alpha friends to do the same to me" she cried.

"I was able to escape home but my dad always takes me back to him".

"But did you tell him of what the Alpha was doing to you?"

"Yes but he never cared".

"Do you have siblings?" I asked as she burst into more tears.

"I had two sibling but they were killed".

"By who?"

"My father cause he was the one who sold them out as s*x toys to different men and they weren't able to make it. And the worst part was that i never saw their bodies cause there were thrown into the woods"

I thought my past was bad but hearing Deborah's story i knew my past was no where nears hers. She been through a lot and i don't wish to past through the same thing.

"How where you able to escape from him. I mean your wicked master?"

"I ran away but this not to my house. I ran into the woods where i met Nathan. After explaining Everything to him, he took me in and treated me like a human being".

"Let's jus say it was fate"

"Yes i guess so. But it was cruel and i'd never for someone to pass through what i suffered".

"Does that mean you're a witch?"

"Uhm..." She hesitated before speaking. "Promise you won't tell anyone".

"I promise".

"I am" she answered.

"Deborah!!!"

Nathan called from downstairs"

She hurriedly rushed out cause keeping an Alpha waiting is a punishable offence.

I really don't know what happened next as everywhere became dark and blurry. I lost conscious.

I woke up to my arms tied on a chair.

"Not again. What have i done this time around? I still haven't recovered from my last encounter and now I'm been abducted again".

A pot belly old man walked in. He was reeking of sweat and alcohol making me wanna puke.

"I'm not gonna hurt you as long as you cooperate" he grunted.

"Why am i here? Who sent you to abduct me this time?"

"Someone you don't wanna......" He suddenly stopped and fell flat.
I looked around but there was no one in sight.

The door creaked open as i felt cold shiver run down my spine.

"Who's there?"

"You don't have to be scared, I'm here to save you".

"Then show your face".

"I'm right here".

I turned but was surprised with the sight before me. Standing there was girl of about eighteen years.
She was undeniably beautiful. She walked close to me and place her hand on the robe and i was free.

"You're free now" she smiled at me revealing those cute dimples and little teeth.

"Who are you and why are you saving me?"

"You can call me Daniella"

"Why are you here?"

"To save you" she came close and held my hand.

"Sure but where are you from?"

"The river bank at the end of the woods" she explained.

"How is she feeling right now?" Nathan asked Deborah.

"She's getting better".

"That's good, i want you to take this to her. She must be very hungry" he handed some apples to her.

Deborah thanked him and went back to where Vanessa was, but was shocked and surprised to find the bed empty.

She ran to the bathroom but she wasn't there.

She rushed back to Nathan to report what was happening.

"Alpha king, Vanessa is missing".

"How do you mean she's missing?"

"She's not in the room anymore"

"But she was there when i called you right?"

"Yes but she's no longer there".

"Alert the guards, every entrance should be locked" he commanded.

"Yes Alpha king".

Deborah instructed the guards as she was told and the gate was locked.

But it was already late as she wasn't even in the mansion nor anywhere close.

Nathan banged his hand on the table.

"Who was the guard in charge?" He asked. His eyes becoming red from anger.

"I..i..am the one Alpha king".

A young man stepped out shivering.

"Can you explain to me what just happened? Aren't you supposed to be at the gate?"

"Yes, i was at the gate. Neither did anyone come or go out" he defended.
