Before heading to my room, i ran to the kitchen to get something for myself. After looking around, i settled for some fruits in the fridge.

Well it wasn't actually some as i stuffed my tray with lots of fruits.

This will be enough for the whole day, cause i don't plan on coming out of my room for any reason. After stuffing my tray, i took a pack of milk.

Luckily no one saw me especially the Luna.

She'd have asked a lot of questions like "Why eating fruits when there is enough food in the kitchen"? And i don't know how to answer that.

I peeped through the door to check if anyone was coming to the kitchen. Luckily, no single soul. So i ran to my room and closed the door from behind.

I dropped the tray of fruit and milk on the small table and took one last glance at it before heading to the bathroom to wash the sweat off my body.

In few minutes, i was done as i walked out of the bathroom with a short towel wrapped around my chest down to my lap.

I walked to the full length mirror to check out myself and i was satisfied with how i looked.

"I'm so pretty, why am i still Mateless? Haven't i paid for my sins already? What's taking him long to come back to me? I wondered.

I wanted to continue with the interaction between me and my reflection, but the growl from my stomach reminded me of how hungry i was some minutes ago.

I took a lazy walk to the bed and sat down. Plugging in my headphone, i picked an apple from the tray as i nod my head to the beat of the song i was listening to.

I took a bite from the apple, i knew this isn't gonna sustain me for the day.

But i don't wanna see him. I can't control my feeling whenever I'm around him.

I'm trying to prevent myself from doing something stupid.

I don't wanted to get entangled to him when i already have a mate.

I knew i rejected Romeo but he never rejected me. I must look for him.

And falling in love with Nathan isn't an option right now.

I finally finished the fruit and gulped down the whole milk before laying flat on the bed for sleep to come.


I don't know what happened but i found myself running inside the woods with some weird creatures running after me.

I can't really describe what they look like but i caught a glimpse of them when I turned back to know if they are close to me.

I'm totally freaking out. They looks like ghouls or hellhounds with large yellow eyes, a bony face and black elongated canine and claws. Ugly with slimy body, a long forked tongue, four hands and one leg.

I kept running without turning back. Each time i look at them a cold shiver runs down my spine.

I could hear their screeching sound already close.

I flagged down dry branches of trees at my front.

I continue running without a stop. My heart was pounding that i could literally hear my heartbeat.

I kept running with them behind me till i got to a cliff.

I stopped running and turned towards them. Be this time the all surrounded me.

Now i was able to see them clearly with the help of the moon.

They kept grunting holding an axe dripping with blood.

Looks like they just killed someone.

"What do you want? I asked trying to hide my fear but my shivering body gave me out.

But instead of a reply, they kept making weird sound like they were talking to each other.

They turned to face me after their talk or whatever they call it.

They all turned to face me at once.

Raising their axe, they took a slow step towards me.

This isn't the time to think. I better jump off this cliff than to be tormented and killed by these beast.

I stepped backward i finally i was in the air.

I fell down with a loud thud. I opened my eyes only to find out i just fell off my bed.

It was actually a nightmare. I can't stop the fear in me knowing fully well that my dreams always comes to reality.

I picked myself up from the floor and cleaned the dirty on my butt.

What i need right now is a cold shower.

Whilst in the shower, many thoughts ran through my mind.

I was supposed to visit my family today.

I picked my phone from the window where i kept it to check what the time is.

"Oh my.. 8:34. How did i sleep that long? I asked myself and just like it was programmed. My stomach growled loudly.

I could hear laughter from the dinning.
I came out of the bathroom and applied my facial cream.

I walked downstairs to join them for dinner when i heard something.

"Do you really love her?" Luna asked Nathan who immediately stop munching on his food to face her.

"Why asking?" He asked with a calm voice.

"You seem to have changed since you brought her here".

Nathan's head was bowed as he was unable to look at the Luna in the face.

"Oh my, he's shy" the Luna laugh. Just as she was about the put a spoon full of food in her mouth, her eyes darted my my direction.

"Hey Nessa, you're awake already. Why don't you come join us for dinner".

In as much as i don't want to go, my stomach wouldn't understand as it kept growling louder.

"Yes Luna" i walked to the dinning and sat on the sit beside Nathan whose face was glued to his food.

Is he shy or what? Why is he acting like a baby.

"Hey Nathan you're not eating your food. Do you want it to get cold"? Luna asked again.
