Chapter 20: I have a friend who can help you

" how are you Hera" Ariel ask with a smile on her face.
" I'm fine Ariel, how about you?"
" I'm good Hera"
" Can you climb the window and come inside? I want us to talk" Ariel speak with a hush voice and a smile appear on Hera's face. How can she say no when that is exactly what she was planning to do.
" But is the alpha not inside?" Hera ask. Even that is what she wanted to, she still have to ask if the alpha is inside to avoid getting into trouble with him. She still doesn't want him to punish her for what she did that night by going into the woods by herself.
" No he is not" Ariel reply
" Alright" Hera smile and climb into the room.
They both walk towards the couch and sat down then Ariel got up and picked three apples from the tray. He gave one to Hera while she keeps two for herself and sat down beside Hera.
" The alpha room looks so nice and beautiful". Hera said as she look around the room. This sis her first time in the alpha's since no one is allowed into his room except His beta Athonio and his parents.
" Yeah"
" Umm thanks for the apple" Hera said with a smile on her face. Even if she accept it , she isn't going to eat it. She is weary of strangers and don't trust Ariel yet.
" You are welcome" Ariel reply as she too a bite of the apple.
" So what do you want us to talk about Ariel?" Hera ask as she keep the apple in her pocket..
" Aren't you going to eat that?" Ariel ask when she saw Hera shoving the apple in her pocket.
" I will share this with my friends tomorrow" Hera lie with a smile on her face.
" Oh okay" Ariel didn't say much and continue biting the Apple in her hand. She would have given Hera more apples to give to her friends but there is no way she is going to share those sweet apples with some other kids.
" So what are we talking about?" Hera ask again and Ariel turn to face her.
" Umm you know Hera, I need your help on something" Ariel said not knowing where to start from. She already told Hera she is alpha Lucas mate and Hera will be confused if she tells her she wants to leave the pack so she really don't know where to start from.
" What is that Ariel, you can tell me" Hera place her hand on Ariel's lap with a smile on her face.
' I need to gather information about Ariel for Clarissa, then I can increase my chances of going hunting with her ' Hera thought silently.
" I don't feel comfortable here in the pack even if it's a nice place. I want to go home and get some few things that can help me settle down here and come back" Ariel don't want to sound suspicious because she already told Hera she is alpha Lucas mate, so Hera will be wondering why she wants to leave the pack.
" Where is your home?" Hera ask curiously and Ariel remains quiet. She don't trust anyone in the pack including Hera so she can't divulge informations about herself to her even if she is just a little girl.
" My home ?" Ariel ask after a brief silence
" Yes your home" Hera reply as she look at Ariel with those sapphire eyes.
" My home is Z town" Ariel lied where as her home is K town.
' I need to tell her a lie about my home incase she incase I escape and she tells the alpha or the pack what she knew about me. They will have to go to Z town and look for me while I'm in K town ' Ariel thought silently as she took another bite of the apple in her hand.
" Where is that?" Hera ask. She hadn't heard about any town aside from packs before. All she knew is packs and not towns and the Alusca pack is one of the safest among the other five packs.
" It's a town not far away from here. It's just after the woods" Ariel said pretending to know the town outside the wood.
" Oh but I thought there was a pack after the wood" Ariel ask looking confused.
" No Hera there is no pack there" Ariel reply.
" Then why don't you ask the alpha to help you out? You are his mate and he can get you there and bring you back within sixteen hours" Hera said. Even if she is a little girl, she still have a sense of humor and reasoning.
" I would have told him but that will only add to his burdens. He has been busy lately and I don't want him to worry about me" Ariel said acting all pityful.
" Yeah I understand Ariel" Hera said as she take everything Ariel said as nothing but the truth.
" So promise me you won't tell Lucas about our it" Ariel said with puppy eyes as she chew the apple in her mouth slowly.
" I promise I won't tell alpha Lucas about it"
" So what do you want me to do?" Hera ask
" When I came into the pack last night, I was asleep in the alpha's truck so I don't remember the road we took down here" Ariel said truthfully this time around
" So I'm think if you can show me the road or show me to someone who can help me get back to Z town" Ariel said chosing her words carefully and a smile appear on Hera face.
" Why are you smiling?" Ariel couldn't help but ask. She don't think she said anything funny or naughty that will make Hera to smile.
" Nothing Ariel. I have a friend who can help you. She is a warrior and a hunter. I'm sure she knows all the roads in the woods and can help you get back to Z town. She even knows how to fight demons and strange beings" Hera said with admiration on her face. She has always admire Clarissa and look up to her.
