Chapter 28: Athonio and Ariel: revenge

Ariel looked sideway as she played with her nails.
Athonio fixed his gaze on her fair neck and he can feel his teeth twitching for a bite and his member rising up under his pants.
He doesn't care if Ariel is pregnant, all he knows is that this lady has a force that is attracting him to her. The same force which pulled him to her in the Alpha's room.
Ariel can feel his intent gaze and she became uncomfortable by sitting there with him. She looked at the spring direction consecutively to see if Hera is coming to ease the atmosphere.
" Ariel" Athonio called with his deep voice and Ariel flinched a little.
" You look enticing and beautiful" Athonio said seductively as he licked his lower lip and Ariel looked away feeling embarrassed and disgust at the same time.
" Is that a compliment or some flirting words? " Ariel asked with a smirk.
" You can take it whatever way you want" Athonio replied shrugging his broad shoulders with an alluring smile on his face.
Athonio is the type whom any wolf or human could barely say no to. He is hot and have a strong flirting skills.
"Are you sure you really wants to forgive Lucas for what he did to you? " Athonio asked and Ariel turned to look at him for the first time.
" Who said I want to forgive him? You seems to know me very well" Ariel replied.
" No one say so. I actually want to know if you want to forgive him . Remember what he did to you. He raped you in that hotel and even got you pregnant so he can bring you here. Not only that, he took photos of you two together and send them to your ex boyfriend. I know it was traumatic for you but if I were you, I wouldn't forgive someone who inflicted so many pains on me. I am a man and I Know what I'm talking about" Athonio enunciate each words as they sink into Ariel's mind thereby poisoning her mind over and over again.
Her emerald eyes glittered with tears as she remembered the incident that happened few months ago. How she was chased out by Ethan and how she was accused of Infidelity. How she lost her sweet relationship with Ethan and how she found out about her pregnancy. They all seems like a nightmare to her. The more she think about it the more her hatred and taste for revenge grew.
' how can I forget everything he did to me? ' Ariel asked herself silently as she bite on her lower lip to suppress the tears burning in her eyes .
" How can I forget everything he did to me suddenly? He's a monster just like you. Do you think I will be here if I wasn't pregnant with his child? " Ariel asked Athonio with her hand tightened into a fist and fingers sinking Inside her palm as the tear she had been holding flew down her eyes freely.
" Shh! Don't cry" Athonio hushed her as he placed his right index finger on her lips and wiped her tears with his thumb with his face few inches away from hers.
" Don't cry! You're too beautiful to cry because of someone who hurts you.
I understand how you feel. You're here because you're pregnant with his child but you can get rid of the pregnancy and have your revenge. This is not the first time Lucas has done something like this. He had brought so many girls from the town and claimed them as his mate, whereas he was actually using them as sex toys. " Athonio said as he enunciate each word to Ariel making sure she heard them very clearly and Ariel mind became very bitter towards Lucas. She felt like she's going to explode any moment from now.
" I thought you are his friend, not only his friend but his beta. Why are you telling me all these things about him? Aren't you suppose to keep his secrets and save his reputation? " Ariel asked with displease in her voice as she remove his hand from her face.
She can't believe someone who claimed to be your friend can say bad things you did behind your back. Somehow she felt like she's cheating on Lucas for being so close with his beta.
" You still cared about his reputation after everything he has done to you?
Listen Ariel, I've had enough of him. I can't take it anymore. I can't watch him bring innocent girls here again all in the name of mates whereas he has abused them in the hotel and blackmail them" Athonio said as he stood up from the chair with his eyes dark and his hands in his pocket and Ariel's face dropped.
" If you want to stay here in the pack then you can. But let me tell you this, no matter how you try or how long you live here, he will still dump you and bring another woman here especially after he ascend the throne. Then your suffering will began by then because no one will recognize you as his mate but his baby mama. So it's up to you if you want to live a hard life here in the pack as his baby mama or have your revenge and live the peaceful life you wanted" Athonio said and walked away without waiting for Ariel to reply.
She looked at his disappearing back and wonder if he's actually Lucas beta or if what he's saying is actually true.
' If there's anyone who knows Lucas very well then it should be him. He's Lucas beta and he knows everything he does. Could it be that everything he said was true? 'Ariel asked herself as she sank into deep thought.
' if his beta can actually say this from his mouth with a serious expression then it's true. No one knows an alpha more than his beta. I don't think Hera know about these things' Ariel thought to herself again as she let out a huge sigh and grit her teeth together.
