Chapter 30: untitled

" Aunt Clarissa, I know you can help Ariel. She really needs your help. She's the only one I can trust her with. It's not safe outside the pack and she might gets hurt if she goes alone" Hera said in place of Ariel acting all cute which made both woman to dote on her.
" I understand Hera. You don't have to explain. I just want to know why she wants us to help her and I got the answer now. I will help her" Clarissa said and Ariel's eyes lit up.
" Are you serious?" Ariel asked to be sure she heard what Clarissa said very well.
" Yes I will help you back to Z town. You're a novice here and not familiar with the surroundings. Lately some strange beings has been lurking around the pack and it's not safe to go out of the pack into the woods without safety and protection. "
" Thank you miss Clarissa" Ariel said with gratitude.
" Alright I will leave you two to decide on when to leave and remember to come back before the full moon" Hera said and walked away.
"Can we leave now? " Ariel asked and Clarissa rolled her eyes.
"Seems like you're in a hurry to leave the pack" Clarissa replied and Ariel shook her hair negatively.
" No no, I just need to go and come back early before the next full moon" Ariel denied with a smile on her face.
" Alright the next full moon is fifteen days from now. We will leave three days from now. I still have something's to take care of within the three days" Clarissa said and Ariel nod her head..
" I understand. We will leave three days from today" Ariel agreed happily even when she wants them to leave immediately before Lucas finds out.
" Alright then, I will go home and relax. I have tons of works to tend to later. It was nice meeting you" Clarissa got up to leave and Ariel did the same.
" Nice meeting you too Clarissa" Ariel replied with a smile plastered on her face.
Being able to find someone to help her back to Z town is like a dream come true for Ariel but she still have one fear. What if Lucas finds out about her plans within the three days before their departure to Z town?
He is the alpha of the Alusca pack and probably knows everything that's going on in the pack. What if he is actually monitoring Ariel's movements like he said in the notes?
"huh! " A gasp escaped from Ariel's lips at the thought of this. This thought sends chills and nervousness down Ariel's spine. She had never been this nervous all her life.
" I can't let Lucas suspect anything. He can't know about my plans or I will be doomed here" Ariel said aloud and rushed back to their chamber.
On her way she come across the pack doctor who was on his way back from one of his patients house.
Ariel don't know this pack doctor because he always attends to her when she's unconscious.
" Greetings miss Ariel" he greets and Ariel was forced to stop in her tracks thereby disrupting her thoughts .
Ariel pushed her hair backward and looked at the face of the man standing before her with a briefcase in his hand. He looks young, clean but not that good looking and he gives the vibe of a rich kid.
'Could it be that everyone is this pack is wealthy like a vampire and doesn't live like a wolf? ' Ariel asked herself silently
" Who are you and how did you know my name?" Ariel asked sounding rude and the pack doctor just smiled warmly at her. How can he offend the Alpha's mate?
" I'm the pack doctor. I'm the one who always attends to you when you're sick" He introduced himself and Ariel squint her eyes at him.
' so he is the stupid doctor attending to me' Ariel thought again.
" I want to tell you that your medical skills sulks. I hope you don't attend to me in the future " Ariel insinuated and walked away leaving the pack doctor dumbfounded with his mouth wide opened.
" What a rude girl. How dare her say my medical skills sulks with her weird smell? She got some nerves. Watch me teach you a lesson that even the alpha cannot save you from my clutches"
Ariel pushed the door to the room opened and saw a tall figure standing in the middle of the room and she felt cold chills on her skin.
She don't know if she should be scared or not but deep down she know she had offended the alpha by leaving the room and staying out late.
His scents filled the room and she really can't have enough of it as she had this urge of moving closer to him and sniff more of his scent.
His hands were placed in his pocket and the black gucci leather jacket covered his hot figure properly.
' you don't have to look good and dangerous at the same time' Ariel thought to herself as she thought of what to do.
If what Athonio said earlier was true then offending the alpha wouldn't be a good thing to do.
She had never seen him this way. He looks cold and distant with his dark long hair falling behind his back.
" Where are you coming from?" His ever warm and soothing voice sound so cold and distance that it sends chills down Ariel's spine.
She felt like his voice woke something in her and she her palms sweating and her legs going numb.
He didn't even turned around for once to look at her which made Ariel uneasy with a sting in her heart.
'How can he not look at me for once? Could it be, i had offended him so badly that he was too angry to look at me or could it be he had found out about my plans?' Ariel thought to herself and her jaw dropped
