34: Third realm
Clarissa sat on her bed as the previous scene of what happened in the woods replayed in her memory. She still has goosebumps all over her body, and the chill is still there. She rubbed a pain relief balm over her body and lay down on her bed.
"Shouldn't I be happy that she's out of the way now?" She asked herself with a sigh escaping her lips.
"I have always wanted to get rid of her, and this calls for celebration." She squealed and jumped down from the bed.
"I can finally have Lucas to myself," she grinned and ran towards the pack bar even when her body still ached from the fall.

"Ethan Luthedo." Lucas typed the name on his phone, and the profile of Ethan emerged.
"Bastard!" Lucas cursed and stepped on the gas pedal. "I will rip your throat apart."
Lucas kept cursing as he sped through Z-town. The car came to a halt in a three-bedroom apartment. One could tell that the owner of the house is a millionaire but chooses to be low-key.
"Luthedo," Lucas growled immediately he saw Ethan walk out of the house. Ethan felt those chills, the aura, but chose to wave it away. Even if he's an Omega, he doesn't like being dominated by the Alphas.
"How may I help you?" Ethan asked with his brows furrowed. He doesn't remember having a dispute with any werewolf from another pack. Besides, only a few people know where he resides.
"You have what belongs to me. Give her back," Lucas said with a deep, stern warning voice. His alpha aura was emitting from his body.
"I don't know what you're talking about. If you're talking about Lix, she's not here," Ethan replied and made to enter his car.
"That bitch." Lucas cursed under his breath but smiled slightly at the realisation that what Lix did brought him and Ariel together.
"You can leave now. Lix is not here," Ethan said again when he caught a glimpse of the stranger's smiling face. He can tell that he's not twenty per cent as handsome as he is. His feminine face can turn a straight guy gay.
"Ariel, not Lix," Lucas growled, and Ethan's eyes lit up at the mention of Ariel's name.
"Do you know where she is?" Ethan asked as he approached Lucas like a baby who has been longing to meet his mother.
Lucas took a few steps forward and grabbed Ethan by his neck. His grip was so tight that Ethan felt the air leaving his lungs. "Where is she, Luthedo?" Lucas asked as his eyes turned dark.
Ethan opened his mouth to talk, but all he could do was gasp for air. 'How do we know if Ariel is here if you kill him?' Artemis scolds Lucas, and before Lucas could shoot him off his head, Ethan crawls his hand with his fingers. A grunt left Lucas's lips as the sharp pain surged through his veins. He tightened his fist and punched Ethan in his face, thereby sending him flying against the garage wall.
"Filthy Omega." He cursed again and walked towards Ethan on the floor. "Tell me where she is now," Lucas demanded as he held Ethan by his collar.
"Fuck you, bastard," Ethan cursed back and clawed at Lucas's neck with his fingers.
"Arrgh!!" Lucas groaned and threw Ethan across the parking lot.
"Lucas, she's not here," Artemis said in an attempt to calm Lucas down and persuade him to leave the apartment.
"Yes, she isn't. Her smell is not here, but I needed someone to vent my anger on. He's not my match," Lucas said and walked back to his car with his hand dripping blood.
\~~~~ The third realm ~~~~~~
"Ariel", Selena called, and Ariel stretched her hand forward, signifying to Selena not to come any step closer.
"Why did you bring me here?" Ariel asked sternly.
"I brought you here because a lot of responsibilities await you here." Selena said with a smile. Her dark lips parting and revealing her white tooth.
"What responsibilities?" Ariel asked dumbly.
"Welcome to the third realm of the witches of Elo Coker," Selena said, and a loud shrill came out of nowhere, sending chills down Ariel's body.
"What nonsense are you talking about? I have other responsibilities to take care of."
"Whatever. Rest for now and reserve your energy for the introduction ceremony tonight. Other members of the coven will be glad to see you, especially Dino." Selena smiled and exited the room.
"What bullshit, and who's Dino? Could it be he's my dad?" Ariel asked herself as she tried to recall if she had heard that name anywhere before.
Two teenage girls walked into the room. They had a calabash in their hand, and one thing Ariel noticed among the people here is that they all have dark lips. Their dark hair falling down to their waists. They wore mascara, and their nose stood pointed. Ariel wondered what they were doing in her room. She raised her brows as if asking them what they are doing in her room. They ignored her and changed the candles in her room to red candles. A strange scent came from the burning candles, and all Ariel could worry about was the safety of her unborn child. The two teenagers light a total number of seventeen candles in the room. Beads of sweat formed on Ariel's forehead as the room temperature rose to another level. Her clothes got drenched in sweat due to the heat, and she wondered if these girls were there to roast her. She got down from the bed and started blowing the candles away.
"Don't make me lose my patience," one of the girls said with a warning tone, but Ariel ignored her warnings and kept blowing the candles away. She doesn't care if they get angry or not.
"I don't care if you lose your patience or not, but I won't watch you roast me alive!" Ariel yelled at the girl who ignored her and kept lighting the candles that were blown away with the snap of her fingers.
"What a dumb girl," the girl replied and placed the calabash on the coffee table. "Lady Mane", the other girl called, and the girl who called Ariel dumb turned to face her.
"Yes, Zoey," she replied.
"What should we do? She keeps blowing the candles away," Zoey asked with a worried tone.
"Let her blow all the air in her lungs away. I don't care if she gets burnt or chokes to death," Mane said with an unreadable expression on her face, and Zoey bowed her head.
The scent of the burning candles filled Ariel's nostrils, and she felt her foot leaving the floor. The next thing, she was floating in the air while struggling to breathe.
