On hearing this, rage boiled in me as anger swirled like a tornado inside of me, screaming for me to let loose, but I held it there.

“You want what you are doing, right? What about the lives of those kids you got involved with? With my knowledge of what happened between you two, you've been doing several things to her but she did nothing, now instead of you stopping, you decided to continue by involving her children despite knowing how worried she always is when something happens to them. Isn't that being cruel?” I asked as I narrowed my eyes slightly.

Laughing out loud, she said, “you call that being cruel, that is not being cruel cause as far I'm concerned, I will do anything to get you to always be mine. To answer your question, to me being cruel Is trying to take my man away and that is the most cruel thing anyone can ever do to me.”

Sighing heavily, I said “you know, you shouldn't have done that, now because of you she left this mansion.”

“Isn't that what I've always wanted since she got to this mansion, now that she is gone, I can have you all to myself, ” Queen said as she made her way toward me.

Looking into her eyes, I tried to search for emotions like guilt or something that would indicate that I have not been dating a psychopath for a long time now, but I found none.

Her reason, belief, actions all indicated another person in her body which I didn't think was possible.

‘Maybe I just can't believe what I'm seeing right now, enough yi make me think that she might be possessed or something but I realized that none of this was possible and the scene in front of me was really really.

But this time, she had almost reached me, then I spoke, “Queen, i will not take what you just said lightly, how do you expect me to feel when you when you tried harming my kids just for the sake of having me to yourself, what then cannot guarantee that you wouldn't attack my own kids even if I ended up having one with you.” I said as I gave her a hard stare.

“don't worry about that, it won't happen. But if you are so eager to find out what I will do if that happens, why don't we make sure it happens right here and now.” She said with a big grin on her face like a crazed person.

Immediately I saw this, I realized that she had been hiding a lot from me. This pained me as the understanding that the person I've known all this while might have been different due to her putting on a show for me to see made me feel like I'm a fool.

“Since things had gotten to this Queen, I think it's time for you to leave. You can no longer stay in my mansion any longer so take your things to leave. You are no longer welcome here.” As I said these words, I could feel my heartbeat increase rapidly. My emotions spiraled out but I didn't know what to think about the current situation.

She seemed shocked at first by what I said but ultimately laughed in the end. “You must be joking,” she said as she stared at me unblinkingly.

“well, I'm not Queen, every word I say to you right now is true. It's over between us and I am done with this relationship. You should take you things and leave.” I stated.

“What, you want me to leave just because of what I did to Ryan?” she asked as if incredulous by this, “you know what, I'm not leaving and it's not over between us. I'm still in this relationship with you so you better get your act together.” she said she gave me a threatening stare but I didn't flinch one bit.

“I've said my piece. If you don't leave now, you will be forced to leave. Know that I've already given you the chance to leave without arresting you or making you face the consequences of deceiving me. So, tame your things and leave while I'm still asking nicely.” I sat.

“Fine, but know that if I can't have you, no one else can. You will always belong to me as I am, you are mine.” she said before packing her loads.

After a while, she was done packing her loads, she took them on her hands and left the mansion.

Immediately she left, I didn't leave the room, I just stood there, staring into space while thoughts flowed through my mind.

‘Why is it like this? If I had known the truth, would I have done things differently?’ I asked myself as these thoughts flowed through me.

After some time had passed, I left the room, only to see Damien standing there, as if he was waiting for me.

Looking at me, he said, “I guess you finally did what you should have done a long time ago.”

On hearing this, I sighed. “I wasn't expecting to have been dating someone like her for that long while remaining clueless till now.”

“Well, you can't be blamed as the trust you had for her was just too much.” Damien replied.

“Probably,” I said as I didn't feel like saying anything more than what has been spoken already.

Standing up, I was about to make my way to my room when I stopped and said, “thank you for protecting her even when I was stupid enough to not realize that Queen was the one causing danger for her.”

After I let this words out of my mouth, I went back to my room, not wilting for Damien yo reply, but I could imagine him smiling as I turned my back but it didn't matter at that time as I began to check every if my actions when she was still with me and what she had said.

I realized that eventually every single one of it was true and I had been unaware of everything until now. ‘how could I call myself her mate when I can't even protect her properly?’
