Giving me a glance, he snorted. “Why are you bothering with this woman, Miss Shaw?”

“It's just as James had said. Manager Robinson I will be relying km you to get justice for myself cause how would it be if the reputation of the hotel is damaged by incidents like this.” Victoria said.

Understanding what Victoria had said, manager Robinson nodded. “very well. Since that's the issue, then ura easy to solve. Miss?”

“storm.”I completed.

“Okay. Miss storm, you have two choices here, you can either leave this hotel or compensate miss Shaw for the damage you had caused during your colision.

Sighing to myself, I wondered just for a moment, ‘why do people like to do extreme things to get others on their side while ruining other people's lives.’

As I was thinking about this, James spoke once again. “Why are you even giving her the opportunity to leave? I think the punishment for offending Miss Shaw will be too light and many people will dare to try it with her in the future thereby making her lose the respect a person of dignity like her deserves.” As he spoke, it was obvious that he was trying to flatter and support victoria.

“Mm, I suppose I can go with that. But I have another idea. How about she kneel down and bark like a dog three times.” manager Robinson said, after which he looked at Victoria for what she thinks about it.

Frankly, Victoria's thought about the whole situation is obvious in her expression as she couldn't help but show a pleased expression on her face.

“You want me to kneel and bark like a dog? You must be joking.'' I said with incredulity.

Turning to face manager Robinson, I said, “since this originated from the incident that happened before you got involved, why don't we watch the CCTV camera to check for how it happened.” The reason why I chose the manager is that he wasn't that interested in sulking up to the Shaw family, he just tries to please them but it seems like it doesn't really care as long as it doesn't hinder his plan.

Nodding along with my suggestion, he ordered. “Bring me the video if the CCTV camera has a time frame of 24 hours.”

Victoria panicked slightly immediately she realized that her little princess action might coke back to hurt her.

“Well, o don't think you need to worry any longer, I've decided to let the issue go as I've wasted enough time here. I have a business meeting to attend to.” She came up with an excuse as before the camera footage arrived.

Seeing this, I couldn't help but sneer, ‘people.’ Was the only thought on my mind as I watched her leave the hotel.

Turning to face the manager once again, “I couldn't thank you enough for what you did back there.”

“Xom thank me, I wouldn't want there to be a report about the quality of this hotel so it doesn't really matter to me. If I ever need your help in the future, I will let you know, cause now you do me a favor.” manager Robinson has said it all.

“Okay, whatever your reason for helping me maybe, I understand and appreciate your help.” I replied before taking my leave as well.

At that point, James had already left the premises but it was obvious how puzzling the issue was to him.

As the manager left, he watched the video in his hands and looked in my direction once again.

Looking at the expression on his face, I was puzzled. Just what was he thinking, looking at me. But I shrugged it off and began to walk towards my room.

On getting there, I realized that things were still the way it was before I left. Soon, the day passed and I dressed up the second day to prepare for job interviews as I had applied for jobs the previous day.

Preparing myself, I went to the company in question for the interview and after a few hours I was almost done with almost all my interviews. Walking to the last interview I had that day. I sat in the waiting room with the other participants. They looked at me but continued with their discussions.

Some of the participants were sharing tips that could help them in the interviews in which I listened to whatever I could get from their discussion, while also organizing my knowledge of what I know about the topic that I might be asked due to the position I'm taking the interview for.

“Hey, aren't you nervous?” A voice came from my side. Looking at my side, I saw a lady with blonde hair and a sharp chin, a curved eyebrow and nicely curved body shape.

She was visibly shaken and anxious as to what to do about the current situation. “Not really,” after attending lots of interviews for some time now, my confidence seemed to have increased, so I wasn't that nervous.

“Really! How come?” She spoke but it was more like a question for herself rather than me.

I looked at her and smiled slightly. “Don't worry about that, relax yourself, take a deep breath and let your body think of the judge.”

The lady chuckled because of what I had told her. “My name is Rose by the way, what's yours?”

“Ryan.”

“Wow, what a nice name you have. Can you give me some tips about this interview.” Rose asked.

After talking for some time, it turned out that the person was also getting interviewed for the same position as me. Whatever the case maybe, I enjoyed talking with her.

“I don't really have a special tip to give but since you are getting interviewed for the same position as me I can tell you some things I know and I guess they might ask.” I said as I began to explain the things I know to Rose although I held some things back.

Rose listened attentively while nodding her head in understanding. So, “that's what I know about the interview and the question that night will be asked.”

“don't worry, I understand. You've helped me a lot with what you've given me and I appreciate your help.” Rose said with a smile on her face.
