CHAPTER 45
Checking the location being displayed on my phone, I noticed that the location of Ryan was near to me this whole time.

“Wow, this is nice.” Since she is at a location close to me, I will go there immediately.

I didn't know how to describe my feeling at that moment but if there's something I should call it, it is the fact that I'm excited by the prospect of seeing her.

The excitement came over me to an extent that I decided to go to the location provided to me.

But just as I was about to leave, I thought about the hotel she is staying at. “Ha, this girl is certainly smart. To think you will go to that hotel just to avoid me, maybe it's actually better this way.” I said to myself and the excitement in me seemed instantly.

‘Do I even deserve her?’ This question stayed in my mind and kept repeating itself over and over again.

Thinking about it, it feels like I don't, with the way I have been treating her since she got to my mansion and till she left. I want her to be mine but I'm not sure if I even deserve her with my past actions.

Although there were times that I ended up helping her, I had done it due to the fact that I wanted to keep her with me.

I didn't want her to get hurt but I was doing things that will hurt her emotionally because of my I decision. I can't really blame her for the decision she took after residing that I'm not sure about my decision on the matter.

Even if I decided to go to the hotel, the hotel belonged to a man of the same strength as me and even rivals that. So, going there is definitely a bad idea but if I don't go, then I'm giving up without trying.

‘Look at me hesitating, looks like I really don't deserve her. If I really want her, I should just go for her.’ I thought, but it wasn't as easy as it sounded.

‘Maybe I should disguise myself, so that I won't be recognised even if the cctv footage was checked later.’ I thought.

‘or I could try to form a partnership with the company in order to allow me to get to Ryan without causing a business war, atheist not now.’ Another idea popped into my head, which I considered to be a good one as it would guarantee a good access to his territory.

It was as if my brain was doing extra work to bring those ideas to me, not that I mind the extra work.

I stood there considering which of the suggestions I should go with. ‘Maybe it will be better for me to choose the second option, after all I can't afford to go into a business war at this time.

Picking my phone once again, I dialed a number, after which a ringing sound could be heard as the phone speaker brought the sound out.

“Hello sir,” a voice said through the speaker, talking to me immediately.

Not wanting to waste any time, I got straight to the point, “I need you to set up a meeting with the Dalton group as soon as possible.” I said into the phone.

It still annoyed me to speak to the person on the other side of the phone, as it was none other than my assistant. I had no other choice but to let her set the meeting up as it was essential for my assistant to reach out to them, in order to make sure the group didn't see less of me or think he is above me in any way.

I couldn't help but smile at this point as the thought of getting a partnership with the Dalton group will benefit me greatly and also allow me to go to his territory.

Usually going to other businesses is not a problem, but for businesses like us, it is a problem as there's a rule we all follow which is that if your two companies are rivals, you can't go to their territory.

Nevertheless, I'm still excited by this prospect as this is the first step into entering her life once again, and it won't be like last time again. This time I will make sure I show you how I feel about you and make sure you feel it too.

‘No mistake must be made this time around.’ I thought before heading to my room.

Having been having a hard time sleeping for the last few days, I had to take this opportunity to sleep as the excitement I was feeling at that moment will allow me to do so.

As I entered my room and laid on the bed, I slept off in no time.

Checking my phone after waiting for a while, I realized that I have no message relating to my source of excitement but I didn't mind. I knew she would be settled despite the fact I have a dislike towards her.

My main reason for even disliking her is only because she is occupying a position that belongs to Ryan before, not like she offended me or did something drastic of some sort.

Choosing to trust her, I didn't complain in any way and I know that she will do her best to get me the meeting I need.

After some time had passed, I finally received an email from my assistant, stating that the meeting had been set.

“Hello sir, I have set up the meeting you requested with the Dalton group. The date and place of the meeting has been chosen as I included the fact that you want the meeting to be as soon as possible.” she said as he went on to report everything.

“Also they would like you to confirm the date of the meeting and the place.” she said.

“Okay.” I replied and hung up. I opened my email and checked the email sent by my assistant. By doing so I was able to see the location and time of the meeting and it was fine by me.
