CHAPTER 43
I was still shocked by this despite the fact that it doesn't seem like I should be shocked since what Aiden had been doing since he got here has been nothing short of shocking.

Getting from talking to him as I've been busy all day, I decided to just ask him to leave. “Aiden, you might have come here in the hopes of me coming with you but I'm afraid it's impossible. When I left your mansion that day, I had left with the thought of not going back there again. Since that has been explained to you and you understand, please leave and don't come back to my room again.” I said as I gestured for him to leave.

Each time he would try to say something, he would certainly shorten him and just say, “leave Aiden.” After trying to talk for some time and realizing that I won't let him, he decided to leave.

“Please think about what I said, I mean every one of the words I spoke.” He left with this word hanging in the air as be left.

Looking at him as he left, I sighed to myself but I didn't feel sorry for him in the slightest. To me, he deserved everything coming for him.

Walking into the room, “mummy!” The kids shouted with their hands spread wide, they ran towards me with a big smile on their faces.

I bent down and gave them a big hug. “Hey, looks like someone has been having a nice day.” I commented.

Immediately my kids, I could feel all the anger I had towards Aiden evaporate as only children were important at that moment.

“Of course mom, aunty Yena has been treating us well.” Dela said.

I glanced at Yena with an appreciative expression on my face.

With a smile, Yena said “welcome miss storm.”

“Okay. Since that's done, let's prepare something delicious to eat.” I said as I walked in the direction of the kitchen.

“Yes mummy.” Deks shouted so he jumped up and down with big smiles on her face.

Watching these kids always brings a smile to my face.

“Miss storm, you don't need to worry about doing something like that, let me handle it for you.” Yena said quickly as she walked ahead of me to prepare the food.

Smiling, “okay but I will be helping.” I suggested.

“No, miss storm. You've been working and going for interviews all day, I'm sure you are exhausted, so you should rest up and leave it to me.” Yena reiterated.

“You know, I was the one that told you I will be helping you with the preparation of the food and I insisted.” I started with a resolute expression on my face.

“But…” Yena wanted to say more but was cut short. “There's no but, I will be joining you and that's it.’ I said.

“Okay,” Yena agreed and entered the kitchen with me by her side.

The cooking started in no time. Time went by little by little and in no time the food was ready. After the food was ready, Yena served it on the table.

“yay!” Dela shouted in joy. She came to the table and took her seat beside Ray who was clearly happy with how things were going. His face was full of smiles as he began to eat after I started eating.

Time passed slowly, “mm, what a nice meal.” Rua remarked as he rubbed his belly.

Seeing this brought a smile to my face. When everyone finished eating their food, Yena parked the plates in the kitchen.

Soon, it was time to sleep. Ray and Dela laid on the bed and Yena started reading a bedtime story for them as they claimed it to be something that helps them sleep faster.

Looking at this only made me smile a moment before I retired to my bed.

I thought I could sleep as I laid on the bed but I didn't know that my thoughts had other plans for me as my mind kept going to the incident that happened earlier.

‘I can't believe he will dare to find me or come to this hotel while ignoring what it could cause and he didn't even use a disguise. That doesn't really matter though, as long as he doesn't come here again, I won't leave. If he does, I guess I will have to leave then.” I thought.

‘But it doesn't matter anyway. I just hope my days continue to be peaceful as it had been before he came and ruined my day but that won't spoil the remaining days coming in the week. In that way, it will be good then.’ I thought as I shifted to another position on the bed.

‘Aiden must be trying to become a comedian as i don't understand why i will leave your mansion in matter if few days and you would already want me back, it just doesn't feel real.’ These thoughts kept passing through my mind.

The more i try to remove them, the more the memor6 come to me.

Instead of going against the thoughts I decided to let it flow, maybe I will be able to remove it from my mind after I let it flow for some time.

‘Whatever the case maybe, thinking about this won't help me now but if he comes again, I know what to do but what if he means every word he has said to me.’ I thought but I shook my head vigorously to get the thought out of my head.

Sighing to myself, ‘it can't be possible, I left for only a few days and so much would have happened already? I doubt that is the case. People are funny, if he had said those words when I was about to leave the mansion with my children, maybe I would have agreed and decide not to leave, but after my life is now getting in line once again as I do the necessary thing, you decided that coming into my life is the right thing to do, just what is wrong with him.’ As these thoughts crossed my mind, I couldn't help but get angry.
