As I made my way out of the mansion, Damien said, “Ryan, can you reconsider? I know leaving might be the best thing to do but can you just reconsider?”

I stopped for a moment as I considered what Damien had said.

‘It's not like it's not possible for me to reconsider and do what Damien had suggested but as long as Queen was around, it will be impossible. Even if I wanted to exclude that part, the fact that Aiden doesn't know how he feels about me is something I can't just ignore.’

Turning around to look at Damien, I shook my head and said, "as long as you are unsure about your decision, then I won't be a third wheel or someone that will hang around until you can now make a decision while also causing enmity between I and Queen. Although I can't forgive Queen for what she has done, I won't continue to stay here until it gets to a point that we will start going after each other's lives. I've said my piece.”

Immediately I let those words out of my mouth, I left the mansion with Yena and my kids.

Closing the door of the mansion, I walked forward then turned back once again to look at the mansion.

Sighing, ‘when I came here, I thought my life would be different and since I had found my mate, I thought that is the most important thing but I wasn't expecting what i found there.’ I sighed once again. “what a long and arduous journey it had been before I reached this moment.” I mumbled to myself.

“Miss storm, miss storm.” These words made their way into my ears but it seemed like it had been more than that.

Looking at Yena, “what are you thinking about miss storm? I've been calling you for a while now.”

“Oh, it's nothing. Let's go.” I said.

Getting to the road, I called a taxi and headed for a nearby hotel to stay for the day as I wasn't expecting to leave the mansion.

Soon, I got to a nearby hotel and lodged there for the day. Collecting my key from the receptionist, I took a lift to my room as it was located on the second floor of the hotel.

Checking my room number on the key holder, I went straight to my room door and unlocked it. Opening the door, I entered and took note of every part of the room.

It was decorated nicely, after I entered the room, Yena came in after me with the loads still in her hands. She dropped them in the room and started arranging the bags.

I looked around for sometime before sitting down once again, I had lots of thoughts running in my mind.

‘what should I do, now that I'm no longer in his mansion?’ This question popped into my mind.

Using my hand to rub my chin, my thoughts continued to spiral out of my control. ‘only if I hadn't been paired with him in the first place, maybe my life would still be better now.’ I thought.

‘well, what's done is done. Now that I'm no longer in his mansion, I can't just stay without working. But staying in this city will only bring me sad memories and make it easier for me and Aiden to meet. I won't take my chances with him, I've left his mansion and I will make sure I leave his life, if it doesn't matter what I have to do to get that done.’

Letting out a big sigh, I looked at what Yena was doing and realized that she had packed everything and arranged the room nicely.

Taking my scarf and wrapping it over my neck, I said “I will be back.” Yena nodded.

“don't take long.” I heard a voice say as I turned around to leave.

Checking the owner of the voice, I realized that it came from Ray. It was unusual for him to speak, maybe he is just scared. Whatever the case maybe, I smiled and replied “don't worry, I won't.”

I went close to him and ruffled his hair with my hands before leaving.

Making my way out of the hotel, I decided to take a walk on the street as I allowed myself to think about the best course of action starting that moment.

‘Since there's no problem, anymore. I will just have to focus on getting a job for now, at least until I know which city I will migrate to. For now, unsure he won't be able to find me.’ I thought.

When coming to this hotel, I had a few thoughts in my mind and different reasons for choosing the hotel.

Although the hotel is near Aidens mansion, it will be hard for him to come to this specific hotel as he has no control over it.

After I was done, I went back to the hotel. Making my way inside the hotel, a lady with fair skin and v shaped chin, with nicely curved shape and has a back hair packed in a ponytail.

“Uuh, how dare you hit me. Did you see where you were going?” The lady said with a sense of arrogance in her tone as she looked at me with eyes full of disdain.

I was somewhat shocked by this reaction, “what? I bumped into you?” I repeated in disbelief.

“Yes, you should apologize for your actions immediately.” She said with a disdainful smile on her face.

‘Me? Should I apologize? Well maybe I should just do it and leave this place, it seems like people are already getting wings of this and it might become more than what it already is.

Taking a deep breath to calm myself, “I apologize.” I said before turning around to leave.

“What? You think that's all you have to do. No, that's not okay. For me to forgive you, you have to kneel and apologize to me if not I won't be taking this lightly.” She said,

On hearing this, I became furious. I should apologize on my knees?” I said incredulously.
