CHAPTER 48
Since that's out of the way, now I just have to be persistent, at least to get a wonderful person like her.

Drinking the tea, I savored the taste as I held it in my mouth for sometime before placing the tea cup back on the table.

“umm, this is certainly one of the best teas around.” I said as I couldn't help but be pleased with the tea in front of me.

‘Since this tea is this good, it will be better for me to remember the name. It is certainly one of a kind.’ I thought as a pleased expression appeared on my face.

Things continued as usual with little to no problem in the company. Being weary of the Daltons company, I personally went through each of the documents relating to their company.

‘It would be better for me to go and see Ryan, I think the space I've given since the time of her words till now is good enough if not too much.’ I thought.

“okay. Stop thinking Aiden, Let me just go now.” I stated. Deciding to stay by my decision, I made my way to the hotel she's staying at once again.

I wasn't worried about her not being there as she would have been home even if she has a job already, as anything more than the hours required in the office will either be mandatory if a big project is going on and needs to be finished as soon as possible or voluntarily.

‘I just hope nothing like this happens as it will really be bad if she's not home yet.’ I thought as I made my way to my cat and from there, I left for the hotel.

Getting there, I took the lift to her floor as I still remember the floor and her room number. When the elevator opened, I stepped out of it and made my way to the room once again.

This time luck found me as I got there at the time that she was making her way out of her room to do Gkd knows what, but at least my first worry was gone.

Seeing me, a crown appeared on her face immediately as she Inquired, “what do you want?”

“I want you Ryan, just give me a chance and I will prove to you that I'm not like before, now I'm sure of my decision and what I want to do. So.omeaze give me one more chance, please.” I said as I pleaded with her even when I knew it might not work.

She sighed I need again with a stressed expression on her face as if answering me is a stress on its own. “Look, I said I wasn't coming back and I meant it. You want me back, then you have to tell me why I should come back after what happened in the mansion.”

To be sincere, I don't even know the right thing to do today at this point. I have no valid reason to come back and frankly, she has no reason to come back but u must say something.

Thinking on my feet, I said. “Ryan, I know I fucked up when you were still in the mansion, so please forgive me and out that aside. For the reason though, frankly you owe me nothing nor is it a must for you to come but if the fact that I know I love you and want to be with you for the rest of my life is enough, then that will make me really happy.” I said.

As if considering what I had said, a thoughtful expression appeared on her face.

At this point, I'm just praying to nay supreme being out there to help me.at this point as I don't even know what to say anymore.

Clicking her tongue as she looked at me, I knew something was up and it might be a question or firm rejection, but I waited patiently despite that fact.

“Look at you trying to bring me back to your mansion, what if your girlfriend. You just left her in your mansion to come to my hotel room to ask me to come back?” she said as she realized her eyebrow.

On hearing this, I smiled inwardly. At least now I will be able to give a good answer to her question.

“she is not with me any longer, after you said those words that day along with the evidence you had against her, I decided to check what the truth is, which I was able to find out and do what was necessary. I'm sorry I didn't believe you at the time, I thought I knew her but if seems like I didn't as every of her actions were just beyond my expectations of her character.” I explained.

“umm, so you accept that you were wrong? Another thing I find hard to believe is that a person like her will just give up like that.” she replied.

“Yes, I accept that I was wrong, which is why I ask you to forgive me. About her accepting though, that's not really my concern as I told her to leave the mansion the day after you left the mansion.” I said, still trying to convince her.

She stood there silent, ‘what is she thinking, will she accept or reject? I wonder what her choice will be. This silence is unbearable I thought as I felt like screaming but I kept it in while maintaining the expression on my face.

Finally, she decided to say what's on her mind. “Mm, okay. Now it's time for you to leave since that's everything you've got.'' Then she reached out for the door as she wanted to enter immediately.

I couldn't help but exclaim, “what? You want to leave just like that? Come on, I've been begging you for a while now, just forgive me. Please give me your answer already.” I said almost in a panicked way as I rushed the words so that she would hear them before she could even enter her room.
