16. Mother Knows
Hades was insatiable. I would sleep for a few minutes but then I would wake up to either his face between my legs. Or his mouth on another part of my body. He took me over and over again claiming my body for his own. I had been there for it. Every kiss, every touch. I reveled in it. I didn’t even know that my body could feel the things he made me feel. I knew every inch of him. As he had devoured me with his mouth, I explored him with my own. Placing kisses all over his enormous muscular frame.
The cock that hung between his mighty legs had plunged deep into my mouth and down the back of my throat, pumping into me. Until he poured himself into me and I tasted spice and fire. I knew the whole of the Underworld knew what we were doing. Hades roars of passion shook the palace. I was sure he had shaken the whole kingdom. Even those in Tartarus had to know what their king was doing. The night faded to blue light but neither Hades nor myself could drag ourselves from one another. I didn’t think of anything but him consuming me. Time ceased to exist in our bed. Between our bodies working in tandem to bring each other to pleasure. Hades would tell me of the truth of the gods. How he came to rule the underworld. How he and his brothers locked their father away. I hung on every word.
Just then the door flew open, and Hermes walked in. Hades yelled “get the fuck out of our room Hermes you are not welcome here.” He smiled. “Aww Hades wants Persephone all to himself must be love.” I couldn’t help but smile a little bit. “Do not make me get out of this bed Hermes or you are going to not like what happens.” Hades snarled. But Hermes smiled. “Oh, please get out of bed, I always wanted to know how big your dick was.” I laughed so hard. Hermes then turned to me “Sephy so good to see you again, later you can tell me about Hades and how he is in bed. Seeing as I already know he isn’t going to show me that big shadow daddy dick.” I was in a fit of giggles. Hades snarled. Clearly, he wasn’t happy about our interruption. “Hades you have had Sephy for days. I want time with her.” My eyes grew wide. “Hermes you said days?” He nodded i jumped from the bed and ran to the closet. I had to get home.
I heard Hermes say to Hades “Dam she is fine. Maybe if you weren’t so stuffy you would let me join the two of you. That would be hot.” I heard a loud slam. Hades came into the closet where I was already clothed. “My mother is probably home by now, and I’m not there. She is going to kill me.” I couldn’t hide the tremor in my voice. Hades came and held my face looking at me with an intensity that made me want to get right back into bed with him. “You don’t know if she is home yet, do you?” I asked. He shook his head and said “the last few days, well, you know we have both been in our room. I have not done anything but love you. I rubbed my temples. If it wasn’t bad enough that I knew my mother would find out I had let Hades shirk his responsibilities. “Let me get dressed and I will find out about Demeter while we eat some food. Neither of us have eaten days.”
“I can’t Hades you need to send me home now.” He looked like he was debating with himself. “Please Hades.” He sighed he would give in for me. His lips crashed against my own. It was a fierce kiss that told me he didn’t want me to leave him. I didn’t want to either, but I had to. When he broke the kiss, he looked at me and I offered him a smile. “I will be back; we have a deal remember? Not to mention you wanted me to go meet someone with you.” He nodded and with a grim smile I was standing in my mother’s garden. I walked back to the house. Once I entered, I saw my mother. She had returned and I had not been there. She ran to me pulling me into a hug. “Persephone I was so worried.” But she pulled away suddenly. She looked me over. I didn’t think about it when I left the Underworld how I looked. Just that I was clothed. I didn’t even have underwear on.
Mother looked horrified. She leaned in again and smelt me. Her face twisted and began to turn red. “You whore, and with the worst of them.” I saw her hand coming and knew what was about to happen but suddenly I felt him. Hades was holding my mother’s wrist. He had stopped her from striking me. “You will not speak to her that way ever again Demeter.” My mother pulled her wrist away. She turned to Hades. “I see how it is. You swoop in when I am gone and take advantage of my daughter, you really are the worst among us.” I opened my mouth and said, “mother, he didn't do anything I didn’t want him to do.” She looked at me like I had never seen her before. The love she always shown toward me in her eyes was gone, now it was disgust.
“Persephone go to your room. I will deal with you when I am done taking out this trash.” My blood boiled. “Mother he is not trash, he is good, he is kind, he is nothing like the way the world perceives him to be. The underworld is not what it was last time you saw it. If you could see it now.” My mother cut me off by yelling at the god of the dead.
“You told her about me, you took her to that place, exposed her to that kind of filth.” I tried to interject. “Mother it is not like that, if you would just listen.” Suddenly, I was transported. I saw the bars around me. My mother had caged me. She had locked me away. I didn’t know where this cage was. I didn’t know if I was even still on the estate. Tears fell down my face. My mother scolded me plenty of times but it was never serious. I had never actually been punished. Her philosophy that we were gods, and we could do as we wanted had allowed me lots of liberties.
My mother appeared in front of me snatching my necklace from my neck. She should not have been able to see it. Hades told me she wouldn’t be able to tell I was wearing it. Then she vanished and appeared outside of the cage. “Mother please, give that back Hades gave it to me.” She sneered. “You will never see him again. I promise you that.” My eyes began to water again. “Stop your crying, have I not given you everything? And as soon as I turned my back you betrayed me.” I couldn’t take it. I loved my mother, but she was being brutal to me with her words. I don’t know what came over me, but I bit back for the first time ever.
“Betrayed you? You betrayed me. You didn’t let me out to see the mortals we rule, you limited my knowledge so I could stay under your thumb. You made me think growing flowers was all I was good for and that my opinions on things were of no importance. Never once have you asked me to help make decisions about the mortals or even this estate. You made me small. But I am not small and insignificant, I am a goddess just like you.” Her face twisted and an unnatural laugh fell from her lips. “You think you are like me? You are no Olympian; you are just a small little goddess with no real power. I didn’t make you small, you were born small and without any real gifts. Of course, I didn’t ask for your opinions your head is full of nothing”
My tears were flowing uncontrollably. How could she think this about me. I thought she loved me. “You will rot in this cage until you come to your senses and realize your place in this world. Who knows, maybe it will take a day or two or perhaps a century. Either way you will fall back in line where you belong.” I said between my tears “Hades and I made a deal; you know that is law and I will have to return to him eventually.” Her face turned cruel. “I will have Zues break the deal” she smirked and continued “he asked for my help while I met with him in Olympus and now, I have something I want in exchange for my help. That is right Persephone the king of the gods seeks my aid in matters, that is how powerful I am. You can’t even conceive it can you? My power compared to yours. That is how small you are daughter.”
“He will come for me.” I said quietly. She stared at me for a while. “You think he loves you?” I didn’t voice this thought. “Oh, Persephone you are more delusional than I thought. Hades can’t love anyone or anything he is death; and death does not love. But no matter in time you will find that out.” My eyes shot at her with venom, and I shouted, “you know nothing, he can love, and he loves me as insignificant as you claim I may be. He loves me still and I love him. And he will find me and get me out of here.” She sneered; I had never seen this side of her. It was twisted and hateful. “He won’t find you, no one will unless I want them to. Now before I leave answer me this, did anyone on the estate know what you have been up to?”
I shook my head as it hung low. Lola did, but I would not bring her down to rot with me. All gods lied and I was doing it now. “Not even your beloved Lola?” She asked. “No, I have been lying to everyone on the estate. Like you have said a million times all gods are liars, and I too am one.” “Well at least you did that like a goddess, I would say I was proud but your actions in my absence have made it clear you are naive, and a failure.” I was crying uncontrollably. “You are pathetic sniveling like a child, over some fantasy you concocted in your head. But no matter, you will learn. Maybe on our next visit you will show remorse and gratitude for all I have done for you.” Then she vanished and I was left alone. She had snuffed the light with her. Was this going to be my life for the next hundred years caged in darkness? I had no idea
