Chapter 14: Her thug side

SIMONE'S P.O.V
I kick his feet and push him to his friends. I even twisted my neck and make a fist.
"It's been a while when I have to kick some stupid ass!"-I said. I started attacking them. They tried to punch me but I bend down and twisted my body as I kick their faces. One of them tried to use a small knife, he scratches my face. I smirk. It's quiet sting but its not painful.
"Big sister, in your back!"-Jackson. He even gets down the car. I bend backward and knock him on his chin. Then I roll over and the one who is holding a knife shouted when I threw a big rock on his face. I didn't let them stood up. I kick their stomach and they all growl in pain. I heard siren and maybe one of his team.
"Officer bring them. I will file a case against them. Don't make the public know about this."
"Okay, no big deal."-he said. They handcuff them all and bring them inside the police car.
"We will go ahead then."-he said. I smile.
"Thank you officer. Good day."-I said.
"Big sister, your cheeks."-Jackson.
"Take the car in your complex. I will just call your brother-in-law to pick me up. Next time, Jackson, it's better to show that you have some fangs then run when you get the chance, okay?"
"Thank you, big sister. I keep on owing you a lot. I'm sorry for getting you into trouble."
"It's okay, its my duty to protect you. Now go home and have some rest. Get my bag in the car and I will wait Russell inside that café."
"Okay. I'll call him myself."-he said. I nod.
After a 3 minutes, he come to me and gave me my bag. I made sure that they already left before I enter to the café next to this restaurant.
"Can I have Frappuccino and tuna sandwich."
"Okay ma'am."-she said. When she place my order on the tray. I look for a table near the glass wall. I open my bag and took my spray alcohol and sprayed it on my cheeks. It stings but its better to disinfect it. I put on some band aid. It took around 10 minutes when I saw Russell rushing through the door. I raise my hand and when he notice me, he ran to me.
"God thing you're here. I already finish the food. Let's go. I am tired already."-I said. I stood up and upon picking my bag, he held my wrist and pulled me over. He hug me.
"Hey, what are you doing? We're in public."
Some people seems to notice us especially him. He is like the entertainment stars when it comes to his fame. I tried to push him but he didn't even make any kind of move.
"Russell, wake up. Let me go. This is embarrassing."-I mumbled.
"That's the new power couple, right?"
"Yes, I envy that girl He married the most famous simmer in our country today."
"Yes. But she is big shot as well. She is the heiress of Lavelle Global. She is the new young chairwoman who is a leader of such a big business empire."-the other one.
"They look in love. They're cute together!"
"What if that's a publicity stunts? Remember what they confess in their press conference last month?"-other person.
"Yes. But look at them. What if they start liking each other? They're living together now. They can still find blaze in...you know. They already admit that they're attracted to each other, remember?"-her friend. They are now buzzing around because they notice us.
"C'mon, let's get out of here. Why are you acting like this anyway?"-I said. He didn't answer but he ends up dragging me along with him. In the parking lot, he pushes me in the backseat and he gets inside as well. He cornered me on the car door. I gulp, he is now on my top. He suddenly held my cheeks. He caresses the part that I get wounded.
"What did they do to you?"-he ask.
"This is just a cut. Its no big deal."
"It should be. You're a woman. Why did you even fight men that is not your league?"
"I am okay. You don't have to yell at me and interrogate me. You're acting weird, Russell."
"Did you even know how worried I am?!"
"I didn't know. But relax, I am fine. See?"
"Good thing that Jackson is just scaring the hell out of me. I thought you had broken arms, sprain your feet and your bleeding a lot! That brother of yours. I will kick his ass! He shouldn't be kidding like that!"-he remarks. That made me shock. The way he say those words that are full of emotions. I can see in his expression and in his eyes that he is genuinely worried. My heart is overwhelmed again.
"What?! Why are you giving me such face?"
I grab his cheeks and kiss him. He was surprised but he didn't push me away.
RUSSELL'S P.O.V
I am dead worried and I can't stop my heart from beating erratically because of my imaginations on what state she could've been.
"I'm okay, don't freak out as if you meet me in the hospital. You're making me feel like a bad wife."-she said. I suddenly realize what I did. I can feel that my ears went red because of embarrassment. She giggled and grab my shirt.
"Puff..."-she breath in my ear. I step back and I even bump my head on the car door. She laugh.
"Look at you, your embarrass now but its too late already. Anyway, I want you to remember that this day, I win."-she said.
"Stupid arrogant woman."-I said and open the car door. I drove the car away from this place.
She must have seen that I want to talk to her that's why she didn't tease me anymore until I fall asleep. When I open my eyes, a woman that is staring at me wakes every nerves in my body.
"Aahh! What the hell are you doing, Simone?"
"Nothing, I am just staring at your sleeping face. It's quiet fun. You even dream a very... interesting dream."-she said in a teasing expression. I get up and sat properly.
"I never had a dream last night. Stop playing around and get up. You need to go to work, remember?"-I said. She smiled wider.
"Yes you are. You even utter some words that is very...hmm, how should I say it."
"Stop joking around. Remember our rules. Rule number 7, teasing me thrice per day will have a consequences."-I said. She shrug her shoulder. She didn't show any fear.
"Okay, its just a single command."
"I am telling you, I won't hold back. My request will never be the usual one."
"Okay. I will do it."-she said.
"I am serious, Simone."
"I know. C'mon, you can tell me now."
"I warn you already. Jump on the balcony."
She stood up and walk down the stairs. My eyes widened. Will she going to do it?
"Nah, she is not that stu...pid?"-I said. But I end up running down the bed. When I look at the balcony, she is trying to climb on the porch. I ran toward her. She is also staring there, I grab her elbow before she'll bend down and fall from the balcony. I put her down.
"Are you stupid?!"-I said. Her expression is blank but I can't see any fear in her eyes.
"You're such a stupid woman! Did you even notice that I am not serious?! How can you even—argh! Next time don't be stupid."
"I am just complying to the rules that we set top each other. That's an obligation of party A. You don't have to make it serious."
"Of course I will! You think no one will see me as criminal? My goodness, I will change rule number 7. You're giving me a headache."
"You don't have to. Party A didn't accomplish party B"s request. You can ask another one."
"Okay! Just stay away from me for this whole day and even at night."-I said.
"Okay. I will get ready and I still have work to do."-she said. She left me here and went inside the bathroom. My jaw drop and I end up shaking my head.
"What kind of transition is that? Sometimes I feel like she's a robot."-I uttered.
I decided to visit my father in Solace headquarters. He is surprise because I never visit him here. The last time I set my foot here is 4 years ago. I sat down on the couch.
"It looks like there are so many changes that happens since the last time I came here. We had more employees here in the headquarters."
"Yes, that's true. But what kind of bad wind did push you here? What do you want?"
"Nothing. I just wanted to see what kind of place is this after 4 years."-I simply utter.
"Don't beat under the bush, Russell. Just tell me the real reason."-he said coldly.
"I promise that after my competition in summer Olympics, I will handle the business. you and mom can travel the world and be happy for the rest of your years in this world. I just wanted to know what kind of changes had happen from what I have remembered."
"Why? Did you saw now the differences between Simone's achievements and your own? Now you notice how wasted your so-called career is."-he said. I already accept the fact that dad will never talk to me without mocking my career as an athlete. I just sigh.
"I never see it as a waste of time dad. I enjoyed those times of my life. Now that I get married, its time to change my career. I never told you that I'll be like the other athlete's who will retired in their 40"s."-I said.
"You better keep your word or else you'll see how will I ruin your so-called career."-he said.
