Chapter 38: Feelings from within

ZYRIL'S P.O.V
I saw him leaning on that pillar. He smiled when he saw me. "Hi, I'm back...?" I ran towards him and hug him. He said he will be gone for 3 days and yet it took him 10 days! I don't know why I feel so happy to see him again. "If you won't let me go, I might kiss you." I let him go right away. He laughs. He places his palm on my head and look at me. "I miss you badly. But! I have no right to do so. Anyway, here."
I look at the paper bag and smile. It's a figurine of my favorite anime. I smiled. "Thank you! You must have to ask Dana or Simone about this." He laughs and nods. "Your smile is worth it more than I imagined. Are you going to have overtime? I wanted to ask you if we can have dinner together?" I nod and smile. "Great. Let's go." I put back the figurine and followed him. He brought me to this familiar restaurant. "Oh! Long time no see, Zyril!" I smiled.
"Indeed Mrs. Neil. Your restaurant is still the same. It's warm and cozy." She smiled. "Same order?" I nod. "How about you young man? Is he a boyfriend?" He smiled. "Not yet. I am still working hard Mrs. Neil." She chuckled. "You better be. This kid is a worth shot. I am telling you." He winks at me and looks at her. "I know. That's why I wanted to work hard for her yes." She looks at us. "Okay then, your order will be in a moment." We nod and she left.
"Just scold me for being naughty. You're cute when you do that." I sigh. "You're a player yourself." He laughs. "But I always tell the truth. Anyways, after this, I'll send you home. I can ask you to watch the movie because I'm still on jetlag." I look at him. "Jetlag?" He nods. "I came here straight from the airport. I just wanted to see you because...you know." He is not lying and I admit I feel happy because he is excited to see me. "Thank you, Luris." He smiled. "No problem."
Simone knocks on my table. "I have been here for ages but here you are staring on that figurine. I bet that's what Luris bought for you?" I nod. She smiled. "Well?" I look at her innocently. "What?" She laughs. "Well, Luris himself is trying to know you. Well, how about you? Why don't you try to learn about him? I mean, you know."
She shrugs her shoulder and that made me sigh. "I don't know Simone. I'm still scared especially that..." She smiled. "But you saw how much effort he gave right? And he didn't approach you as a sweet bee. That's a proof that he is not that typical sheep-like man out there." I sigh. "Well, that's true. I hope he's not doing this to have some fun." She smiled.
"But trying won't harm you and you'll know the answer that will be a solution to your problem." She taps my shoulder and took the folder to my table. I look at the figurine and smiled. "Simone is right. I should at least try to know him the way he shows his interest in me." Russell blink his eyes when he saw me waiting outside their sports gym. I smiled.
"Hi. I'm sorry for the sudden visit. Can we have a talk?" He smiled and nodded. "Of course, as long as it's you. Get inside, maybe you can join us for dinner?" I shook my head. "Just drop me off and I know it will be enough until you answered my questions." He just nod and open his car door for me and closed it after.
"So, what is it?" He drove his car off the parking lot. "I just wanted to know a few things about Luris but please! Don't tell him I ask these." He chuckled. "No problem. My mouth is shut for you. Come on, tell me what kind of question you wanted to ask." I breathe deeply and start asking. "How many exes has he had and does his mom a little bit...strict?" He laughs. "He only has 5 exes and my aunt? She's a cool one, don't worry." Good news.
DANA'S P.O.V
He waves at me as soon as our eyes meet. I told to myself that I shouldn't be excited but I can't stop myself. "You look beautiful as always. Let's go?" I nod. He opens his car door and places his hand over my head. He is sweet like his sister.
"I have something in mind but because this is our first date, I want to give the best for you. So, you decide." I buckled up and start thinking. "I want to go to the beach. I just wanted to walk there and clear my mind. Something like that actually."
He smiled. "Let's buy your favorite macaroon and strawberry shortcake." I smiled. He seems to know me yet she is making subtle movements. That's why he looks like a real gentleman. After he grabs the food. We went straight to the nearest beach. He walks beside me while holding the macaroon that he bought. I grab one and stood in front of him. "Come here." He moves closer.
I tiptoed and share the macaroon with him. I smiled when I saw how he blushes. "If you want to make my heart flatter you should—" My eyes widened when he grab me and kiss me gently. His lips are soft and the kiss is sweet. He smiled after. "Uhm. It's sweet, very sweet," he said while nodding. I blink and unknowingly touch my lips.
I held his hand and he just smile. While walking at the shore, I forgot the stress I felt from my work. "Uhm! There's a restaurant here? Whoa, that place makes me feel old and a workaholic. Come to think of it, it's been ages since the last time I went here." He laughs, he drags me in front of it. "Let's eat here. My stomach is already growling. I forgot to eat my breakfast." That made me laugh.
"Okay then." We entered and order their crab and shrimp specials. I smiled when they bring our orders. "Oh my! This will be a feast! I mean... are you sure you can eat much? I'll just have a single piece each of it." He sigh. "Dana, I know you. Just be yourself because that's the reason why I love you for 7 years."
I smiled. "Thank you, Jackson. This means a lot to me." He just smiles and he serves me like a real princess which made me think how much he had grown up in the past years. After we eat, he told me that we will drop by in their mansion. He wants his dad to know that we're dating. I will stand for us but I want to see what he will do for us.
"Good afternoon, uncle." He looks at us. "Dad, I know that big sister told you about this matter but still. I want you to know that I am serious about Dana. We drop here because I want you to meet her as my girlfriend. I still respect you and I want your approval." He closes the magazine and cross his arms.
"Your sister told me that your team pursuing an international competition for E-games." I didn't speak. He nods. "Yes, dad. We are doing our best." He looks at me. "Are you sure that you want to be his girlfriend? He is still childish and plays games. What if his income wasn't enough to pay bills? What will happen to both of you?" I smiled.
"Uncle, nowadays E-gamers can make money like the athletes who were famous in sports. I have my own work and I knew that Jackson had his own plans. I will trust him with this. He grows up just fine and thanks to you and Simone." He sigh. "Make sure that you two were not playing a petty game. You might be my illegitimate son but your still from my blood. Do whatever you want, just prove to me that your doing the right thing." He stood up and walk away. He smiled and ran to him. He hug him.
"Thanks dad. I love you." He let him go and he just raise his hand and walk away. I smiled and look at him. "So you better work hard, okay?" He smiled and nod. "Of course, I will do had just that. I love you, Dana." I cough. "Me too."
VIVIAN'S P.O.V
I threw the wine glass on the wall. She sigh. "I already told you, not all men were like Rico. You must have succeeded in seducing him, but not Russell. He"s not like him. Stop doing this now while you have time." I glare at Mara.
"How dare you saying that to me?! I already entered in Russell's life! I will make sure he will feel what my aunt experience after she was left alone!" Mara looks at me.
"How about you? You're aunt was diagnosed with bipolar and she was staying on that facility for two and a half decades! You should move on. Your claims and hers were all just a baseless intuitions." I slap her. She look at me.
"You fucking bitch. You have no right to badmouth my aunt! It was Paulo Maxwell who caused my aunt to be in that fucking institution. He used her and throw her away after he used my aunt. I will never forgive them!"
She stood up and look at me. "I already warn you. Don't push your luck too hard. Are digging your own pit." She left me and I realize what I did. Mara is the only one who stayed with me even if I'm a spoiled brat myself. I ran outside and called her out. "Mara, wait!" She stops and turn around. "What is it?" I smiled and apologize. "I'm sorry. Let's go to your favorite pasta place?" She sigh. "Okay, its your treat. You slap me remember?" I nod.
We drove our car and I followed hers. When we reach that place, she ordered her favorite pasta. "What is your next plan now, hmm?" I look at her. "I will continue to create a problem with them and try to ruin Simone's business secretly. I can seduce the businessman who supplies their raw materials for Lavelle Tech Corp."
"I see. Your using your beauty again, huh?" I nod. "This beauty can control men as they drool over my sexiness. Good thing I have this beauty, I can easily manifest my plans against Maxwell." She stops eating. "Have you ever investigated what really happened between your aunt and Mr. Paulo Maxwell?" I shook my head.
"I already heard the truth from my aunt. I know she is not lying at all." She sigh. "If you said so." She said. After we eat, we part ways. I decided to drop to my aunt in that insanity hospital.
"Hi, auntie. Its been a while." She look at me and laugh. "Y-you? Ahahahaha—what are you doing here? Who are you?" I held her hand. "Its me, your favorite niece. I came here to visit you. I want you to know that I started to do my plans against the Maxwell." Her eyes became wicked.
"How dare him! Paulo never love me! He don't deserve to be happy! He left me! I hate him... yes, I hate him. Ahahahaha!" I hug her and tears fall in my cheeks. "Don't worry auntie, I will make sure he will suffer for what he did to you. I promise that." After I com her hair and feed her. I went to her doctor's office. I sat down. "How is she, doc?" She sigh.
"She's not getting better, Vivian. But there are instances that she acts normally and told me how she loves you. She can only remember you and her ex. Nonetheless, she always threw a fit against the other patients." I gritted my teeth. "Please doc, take care of her. I already send my payment for this month. Call me if something bad happens." She nod. "No problem." I stood. "I'll go ahead then, doc."
At the training center, I saw him diving from the flat board. I jump off the water and swam towards him. I grab his feet and pull him down the pool. Good thing no one is here. I touch his crotch and kiss him. He push me and swim on the surface. "What the fuck, Vivian?! What is wrong with you?" I smirk and caress his face. "Why? You don't want it?"
"What is going on?!" Simone screamed and he turned pale.
