Chapter 44: opening ceremony

Russell's POV
"Don't worry, I won't be posting that tomorrow. But... if you won't divorce Simone and be with me... I will expose that I'm your mistress and I'm pregnant as soon as the Olympics end. Let's see if she won't hate you to the bone. It's your choice."
I gritted my teeth and cursed her. "How dare you! I will never leave Simone! She is the only girl I'll make love with and you?! You will see that I'm not someone you can fool. Not in a million years, bitch." I ended the call and held the phone tightly.
A warm hug wraps around my waist. "Make sure you will keep that promise," she said. I turn around. She looks at the pictures. She laughs. "She even hired an expert to fake these, huh? Now I really believe that technology is somehow the scariest monster that humans created."
"She called me. She said that she won't ruin me during the competition, but if I won't divorce you after the Olympics... she will expose these pictures and make a lie. That she's carrying my child." She sigh. "Now that's the reason why she visited her gyno yesterday. The man I hired that will follow her told me that she went to the hospital to meet her gynecologist. He heard that she’s asking about IVF." My eyes widened.
"Then she will really... that woman!" She held my cheeks. "Tomorrow is your big day. Don't mind that bitch. I already have plans for myself. I will tell you about it in the next few days. For now... I want you to date me. I want to visit Disneyland." I smiled. I caress her cheeks.
"Maybe after this? I want to bring you to a special place. Is that okay?" She nodded. "All places are special when I'm with you," she mumbled. I laugh. "How can't I fall for you if you're this cute and charming?" She laughs. "Maybe because I'm irresistible?" I chuckled. "Yes, you are, Mrs. Maxwell."
When we reach the top of this hill, we can clearly see the beauty of the sea. She smiled and her eyes were glowing. I even ask people to make a small park here. These gazebos were built because of me. I held her hand and bring our basket of food to the closest gazebo.
"I hired men to create these gazeboes for people who come here to see this view. I first know this when dad hit me after I told him that I'll pursue my career as an athlete. I came here and cry silently.
"Let's visit here from time to time. Then in the next years, our children will see this beautiful spot." that made me smile. "Yes. We will bring our ten children here." She coughed and that made me laugh. "Just kidding. I will love our child even if we only have 1 or 2 and so on, and so forth." She pouted.
"You're lucky because I love you or else... tss." I pat her head. "I'm sorry... love. Come on, let's eat." She smiled and she ask me to feed her. The more I see her, the more I felt the love I have for her. She made me realize that I can't give up yet.
"Russell, can you tell me when did you start loving me?" I look at her and then think. "Maybe in the restaurant? When you hide me from my fans and when we kiss the lollipop?" She smiled. "Me too," she utters.
Simone's POV
We left that place and the opening ceremony came. I waited in the parking lot, hoping that her parents will come. "Hey!" Luris says and Zyril is with him. The next couple who came is my brother and one of my best friends. "We are here. Who are you waiting for?" Daina asks.
"His parents. He is inside and gets ready for the event. Luris, can you go there? Make sure that no one will harm or sabotage this day," I whispered. He smiled. "I'll come with you, Luris!" Jackson says and follows him. Zyril looks at me. "If you need help, you know you have us," she winks. I laugh. "I know," I stated. Later on, the actor couple is here.
"Good evening, chairwoman, Ms. Zyril, and Director Daina!" they both said. I smiled. "Good evening, Haven and Steven. Looking happy or maybe because..." I tease. She blushes, and that made me giggle. "I'm happy for them," Daina says. "And so we are. I'm their fan already," Zyril stated. They smiled. "We'll go inside first. See you around," he says. We nod and watch them as they get inside. After a few minutes, I saw my dad's car entering the parking lot. The driver opens the car door and followed him. I gave them two tickets because his driver was my husband's fan.
"Good evening, dad." He smiled. "Good evening, ladies." The two smiled. "Good evening, uncle," they both said. "Did daddy Paulo call you? I am hoping they'll come together," I stated. He smiled. "He will come. He told me that maybe it's time for him to open his eyes like what I did to Jackson’s career." I nod and sigh. "I wish they'll make it on time. We only have 15 minutes. I knew Russell was waiting for them," I whispered.
My eyes widened when I saw their car. I approach them as soon as they went off. "You really wait for us?" daddy Paulo asks. I nodded. "Yes, let's go ahead. Everyone is complete," I mumbled happily. "Let's go then, Simone. We are nervous because we were stuck in traffic a while ago. We thought we won’t make it in time," mommy Alma. Daddy Paulo asked me to go with him as we entered the venue. He wanted to talk to his son. I opened the room that belongs to coach Fallon's athletes.
His eyes widened when he saw his dad. He smiled and hug him. "Thanks, dad." I smiled and even coach Fallon. "Coach, she is...?" I ask. He sigh. "She called me and demanded to do her desire. My wife is already ready to carry on your plans. Don't worry," he says. I smiled. "Son, just focus on today. Don't think of anything else. We will deal with Vivian’s plans tonight." He smiled.
"Don't worry dad, I will focus on this moment of my life. I will make everyone proud of what I'm capable of." I smiled. "We only have five minutes. Let's go to the ground," coach Fallon says. We left the room and I lock it. "The bad kitty is around the corner," Zyril says. I used earplugs to communicate with them. "Keep your eyes, everyone. We will smash that woman’s face if she’ll use her dirty tricks," I stated.
They look at me. "Tell me if things get ugly," he says. I nod at him and smile. I even brush his hair. "Leave it to us. Just enjoy your special moment, okay?" I stated. He nods. Before he went the backstage, he looks at me. "I love you," he says. I gave him a kiss. "I love you. Go and bring that gold," I whispered and smile at him. "Yes, ma'am!" he says and followed coach Fallon.
"Daddy Paulo, let's go. We have to get ready," I stated. "No problem. Vivian didn't know that the security was changed by ours. We will let her show what Lavelle and Maxwell are." We went to a place where we stood. I receive a notification. Coach Fallon's phone was connected to this phone. I can see their conversation that Vivian will send. I smirk. "It's show time," I whispered.
