Jennifer couldn't believe her ears, she almost pinched herself to know if this was a dream or reality. She gaped at Pearl who had a mocking smile on her face.
Jennifer recovered and stood straight.
"What did you just call me?" Jennifer muttered in disbelief.
Pearl glared at her, Andrew had told her everything she had done to him, and she got teary-eyed listening to his tale, she was so cruel to leave him all because he was poor but he could work his butt off just to satisfy her needs, the revelation moved her to tears and staring at this woman is making her blood boil.
Jennifer yelled boiling in anger, her eyes glinting with so much rage "I asked you bîtch, what did you just call me?"
"I know you are deaf or maybe your ear has been blocked, so let me repeat my words one after the other and I need you to be more attentive. I said that I am Andrew's legal wife and I called you an old hag, isn't that what you are?" Pearl insulted shooting daggers at her, the woman irritates her, she had always needed someone to take care of her and her sister but they had to work their ass off to get their daily bread, she had to work in a restaurant where she was treated like trash every day, they didn't have food to eat except the leftovers from the customer's plate, that was how they lived their lives.
But this ungrateful woman here had someone who could fend for her, and no matter how little it was, he still did his best, she doesn't understand why, the worst people have to get the best things in life and one of them is Andrew.
"An old hag, how dare you, you bîtch!" shouted Jennifer, she flung her hand to Pearl's face unfortunately, Pearl didn't see it coming.
She pulled Pearl out and stormed into the house then locked the door.
"Pearl, what's the noise about?" Andrew asked if he came out with a towel wrapped around his waist, his hair dripping wet, his body cascading, his abs so alluring, he was beyond human staring at him.

Andrew glowered at the sight of her "What are you doing here?"

Jennifer lifted her hand to touch him but he slapped her hand away.
Andrew sneered at her "Don't you dare touch me with your filthy hand, what are you even doing here? Aren't you supposed to be with your boy toy, your boyfriend who can buy you all the fûcking things in this world or have you lost your interest so fast in his dick!"
Tears almost escaped Jennifer's eyes but she blinked them away, she won't allow him to pull down her defenses.

Jennifer gasped, his words were like knives stabbing her.
The banging on the door didn't stop, Andrew pushed her out of his way and went to open the door.
