Andrew!!!" Pearl screamed, stones kept hitting her body, her face and eyes covered with sand, it was like the whole world had ganged up against her.

How could they believe Jennifer? She wanted to tell them all that Jennifer had done, leaving her husband because he was poor and now she was back because he became rich out of the blue, she should have slandered her when she had the chance, go on sgoneial media and told the whole world what a gold digger she was but Pearl wasn't that kind of person, she only reacts when pushed too hard to the wall but now she regrets delaying and trying to stay out social media mess but she was the one in the mess now, she was sure people were recording the scene and the useless old hag won't stop calling her a husband snatcher or reckless and dirty names.

Pearl wished she could stand up and beat the hell out of her but it was impossible with people throwing jabs and stones at her, she felt helpless.

"Andrew!!!" Pearl screamed but sand dived into her mouth, it was Jennifer who flung a handful of sand into her mouth.

Jennifer smirked at her deed as she watched Pearl choke on the sand, Pearl started coughing out the sand, hot tears streaming out of her eyes, Jennifer was ravishing every second of her despair "B*tch!" she yelled and stood up to avoid the stones from hitting her.

"And…" Pearl coughed before she utter another word a stone hit the back of her head making her unconscious.

Andrew ran out of the dressing room, he had gone to take the lotions, and he was hearing the loud noises and screams but he thought they were just people who were excited about being at the beach, not that beach was a quiet place anyways, so he wasn't bothered but the screams kept getting louder and he became worried because he left Pearl all alone, he considered it reckless of him to leave her alone since she hadn't been to the beach before.

"What's going on?" Andrew muttered to himself and rushed to the spot where he sighted a group of people, he paved his way through the crowd and the lotions dropped from his hands.

Andrew freaked out"Pearl!!"

He rushed to her, knelt by her side, and removed her scattered hair from her face, it was covered in sand, she had bruises, the side of her lips torn and her eyes closed, fear gripped his entire being." Blue, wake up, wake up please "

Andrew turned to those who almost lynched her and they dropped the stones in their hands, most of them recognized him and became afraid for their lives and freedom.

"I can see that you have come to save your s*x toy!" Jennifer shrieked, she hated the fact that he came to save her, has he forgotten her so fast? does he not love her anymore? Those questions passed through her mind but she discarded them and faced him.

" How could you do this Jennifer?! "yelled Andrew, his voice was filled with agitation and rage, and vexation overwhelmed his eyes, Jennifer stared at his eyes and they frightened her she, had never seen him this angry before, he had always been soft and caring even when he found out she was cheating on him he wasn't this violent, she blamed this Pearl, she wished to get rid of her, as, soon as possible.

Andrew had never laid his hand on any woman, not even when she cheated on him and disregarded his love, he never thought of hitting her but right now his chivalry was starting to fade away, she had crossed the limits by hurting his Pearl.

"How dare all of you to touch her?!" Andrew scowled at them, his face wasn't friendly, and the crowd began to disperse out of there to avert trouble. Andrew turned his blazing gaze at Jennifer, she was shaken by it.

"And you!" He pointed his index finger at her and stepped forward, Jennifer didn't like the look in his eyes.

Jennifer turned to abscond from his wrath but two hefty bodyguards stood in her way "P-please let me go" Jennifer cried.

They were Andrew's secret bodyguards that followed them even though Andrew didn't know about it. Jennifer tried running but they caught her and refused to release her.

"Don't hurt me, Andrew please, tell them to leave me, alone" Jennifer cried loudly.

"You guys came late," Andrew rebuked.

"We are sorry boss, we were asked to only protect, we are sorry that we failed to take care of her" they both apologized like they had memorized their words. "Well she's a part of me now, you get that!"

Those words made Jennifer stunned "Andrew, you can't do this to me"

Andrew ignored her and went back to Pearl who was still unconscious, he checked her pulse and it was a bit weak, the tension he felt heightened, he quickly scooped her into his arms and carried her in his arms, and he walked briskly out of the shore.

"Andrew!" Jennifer screamed as they dragged her away.

"No!!!, Andrew"

Andrew entered the car, Pearl was still unaware of the happenings around her, her head was on Andrew's lap.

"Blue, wake up please" Andrew muttered and ruffled his hair restlessly.

He blamed it on himself, it was all his fault, he should have known better than to have left her alone, he gawked at her slightly bruised face and her expression looked like she was going through pain.

"Pearl…," Andrew sighed.

He took his phone and called his pilot who answered almost immediately "Hello I need to leave this country today, I need you to get the private airplane and doctors ready, we are leaving for Canada" Andrew didn't wait for the pilot's response, he hung up.

Andrew let out a frustrated sigh "Can you ride faster, for Pete's sake!" He yelled at one of his bodyguards that he saw standing close to his car, he had no idea that they were tailing him.

"I'm sorry sir" the man replied and the speed of the car fastened.

They arrived in Canada by evening, and the distance wasn't too long, Pearl was examined by the doctor on the plane, Pearl had woken up but strangely she wasn't saying anything.

They arrived at the penthouse his father owned. He used to go there when he was a kid. Andrew came into her room with a tray of food in his hands, the maids that were hired to take off the penthouse made the meal.

He walked to her bedside and dropped the tray on the bed, he smiled at her and leaned forward to kiss her but she took her face away.

"Blue" Andrew called softly but Pearl refused to respond, it bothered Andrew.

Andrew held her hand but she retracted it from his grip "Pearl, I am sorry, I didn't know Jennifer would go that far to hurt you, I won't let her go scot-free for what she has done"

Pearl huffed and finally looked at him "And you think I would believe that you would do anything against her, I am no fool, Andrew" Pearl struggled to sit up, he wanted to assist her but she raised her hand bringing his movements to a halt.

"Don't say that, Blue"

Pearl licked her dry lips and yelled"Stop calling me that…, I know you still love her or am I wrong? Look me in the eyes Andrew and tell me that you don't love her!"

Pearl stared into his dark pupils, her own blue eyes getting moist waiting for his response, why was she feeling this way? hurt!

Andrew swallowed hard, he found it hard to stare into her eyes or say anything.

Pearl gasped "Y-you still… love her… "

"Pearl…"

"Get out" Pearl cut in, her voice almost inaudible.

"Pearl, please listen to me"

"Andrew, get out!!!" Pearl yelled and pushed the tray off the bed. Andrew had a shocked and pained expression on his face but she didn't care.

"Get out!"
